Shadd Johnson Design did an excellent job for our project! Our design was completed as scheduled and was exactly what we were looking for. Shadd was great to work with, we will definitely use again next time!

I was fortunate enough to meet Shadd in a home building Facebook group and so thankful I did. I posted to the group requesting feedback/critiques on a set of plans I had been working on with another designer here in Texas for quite some time. Shadd commented with some very valuable insight and offered to setup a video call with me to discuss. The first call we had he gave me suggestions to bring back to the designer I was working with. After we finished our video call I knew Shadd was the guy to get our dream lake house modified and over the finish line so I signed up to move forward with him. I am an overly detail oriented person and Shadd stayed right there with me through multiple working sessions I requested. He was very patient with me and always responded to any text or call I made. We live in Texas where we will be building and the whole process felt like he was here with me. I highly recommend Shadd for any project no matter the location and look forward to working with him on future projects.

Shadd has been great to work with. He has designed an addition to our home which had some unique spacing requirements plus two new office spaces for me. He is willing to think outside the box which is what I needed. He was also very patient with our nit picky requests. Thanks, Shadd!

If you're looking for a good architect then look no further. Shadd and his team are very patient, intuitive and creative. When I was shopping for an architect then I found their price to be very fair. They worked with me until I got my home just how I wanted and they were friendly and professional through the whole process. I can't say enough good about this company! If you're wondering if you should use these guys, just do it! You will be glad you did!!

Chad Johnson was able to help me Work with the architectural engineer. Working off of drawing that I had made. The house that I was doing was quite a bit different than other construction Home projects that they probably do. The house that I am building is made out of steel. With 4 by 4/4 inch columns, The roof will also be Of eye beams. And Metal Roofing. The house will be on a slab. It will have radiant heat. The insulation will be spray foam. Chad was able to help me a lot working with The structural engineer. His Part of the design seemed like it was the easy part. The things that I wanted to do and where I wanted to put them seem to work out quite well. He gave me suggestions and we moved things around so that it made more sense. And even when we thought we had what we wanted we ended up moving some doors around on the exterior of the house, Also some windows. I thought that he was good to work with and he would get back to me.

Our company has worked with Shadd on multiple occasions. His attention to detail is top notch. When we send a client his way we don’t have to stress or micro manage the project as we know they are in good hands.
