Great topic. She knew her material. Was well-prepared in her presentation. If I could have used more of anything, it would have been more time. I feel like we just scratched the surface. Thanks yall. I needed that.

This experience was actually pretty cool. A huge thanks to all of the instructors, and thank you for the snacks. I really appreciated that the space was supportive, and clean.

It’s hard to overstate the wealth of experience and knowledge the owners and teachers at this studio have. They’re excellent instructors, inclusive to all bodies full stop, and just genuinely care deeply about this practice. I unequivocally recommend anyone looking to learn and grow in this practice make their way here for classes and jams - it’s truly a blessing we have this in Los Angeles.

My partner and I are completely new to rope, but Nora was amazing in our private session, teaching us the basics and the importance of safety. They really made sure to touch on all the topics that we were interested in and answered all of our questions patiently (we had a lot of them)! Definitely recommend this studio for all your rope needs (and more), & will absolutely come back another time for more classes and fun times!

A beautiful and welcoming new Shibari studio in the heart of DTLA. They have a full schedule of events every month - offering classes, and hosting community rope jams and rope play parties. The space is also available to rent for photo shoots or private events. A great space for beginners and those well-acquainted with ropes alike.
The main room is spacious, full of natural light, and well-ventilated with big windows, central air, and several air purifiers. There are mats, bolsters, and kneeling benches to make seating under the frame more comfortable. There is also a low platform under the windows and a bench that runs the length of the south wall for people who would like to sit and observe. The entry room has a couch for seating as well as a small single-chair corner for reading any of the books from their extensive library of rope resources.
There are lockers on-site, reserved for members to stash their belongings.
Membership is not required to attend events.
The events are for people 18+ only and they do require an up-to-date Covid vaccine, so expect to share those details when you sign your consent waiver.
