Brilliant service from the team at DAV. They installed a new TV aerial for us and wall-mounted our TV in the living room — everything looks spot on. The job was done quickly, the cables were hidden neatly, and they made sure everything was working before they left. Great to find a reliable local company in Barrow that knows what they’re doing. Would definitely recommend them for aerials and TV installations

Fantastic service from DAV! I needed a new TV aerial installed at my home in Ulverston after struggling with poor Freeview signal. They arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and did a really tidy aerial installation. Now the signal is crystal clear in every room. Highly recommend DAV if you're looking for a reliable aerial fitter in South Cumbria.

Complete shambles!!!
I explained I was looking to get a quote for an internet connection for my parents in their 70`s living near Kirkby Stephen. The reply I got was that "they are outside of our area!" Kendal to Kirkby Stephen?!?! 🤷🏻‍♂️
Their website states
“we connect homes and businesses across Cumbria —even in the most remote areas—so you can stay connected to what matters“

It's about 25 miles!
To blame logistics is a total load of baloney.
Not to mention the moral aspect of not helping some pensioners. You've shown your true colours here!
What a let down!!!

Unfortunately turned up and said it was a non standard installation and left. Will do ourselves and save the £300. Just needs securing to roof. Easy to install, just buy kit and download app.

Our engineer spent an hour on-site assessing the safest way to install the Starlink dish on your industrial building, which has tin sheet construction. Typically, we can drill through and secure the dish to a metal upright, but in this case, the uprights were 10 inches away from the outer skin. The only professional and secure solution we could identify was to build a frame from an upright inside the building to meet the inner skin, allowing us to fix a bracket outside.

I personally called to explain that this would not be a standard installation due to the extra labor and materials required. You declined to proceed, which we completely understand, and we left without charging for the visit.

Regarding your comment about securing the dish to the roof, this is something we would never consider, as it carries a high risk of water ingress. All our Starlink installations are either wall or floor-mounted to ensure long-term durability and safety.
