Super tasty local Thai food with good price!!! We went for the first time here and very impressed with the quality of the food here.It is very tasty and authentic Thai street food style.Highly recommend from the Thais!!!

The BEST Thai food!!!! AMAZING FOOD. The BEST Thai restaurant ever. I've been 5 months in Thailand, hoping from island to island and I'm not afraid to say that Pum pui is the best Thai restaurant I've been to. Service is high spirited, prices are really fair and food is delicious. Try their fried fish in tamarind sauce, the pad see-ew and their mango sticky rice that you will not regret. Not to say about the owner "Pum pui" who is always smiling, passionate about his business and making you feel at home. Excellent experience. I do recommend!!!!

Great food and a great host Visiting PumPui is a always a highlight of our holiday, we are always made to feel welcome and the chef / owner has become a friend. The food is very good and is loved by Thais (They're very selective about their food) and the Farangs who live on the Island All of the food is great, my personal favourites are the Papaya Salad, Penang Curry and the Tempura Prawns The food is mid priced but well worth the money for the quality of food. It's well worth seeking this restaurant out as the food is wonderful and eating there is a real event. The owner / chef is a real character and very entertaining. Kat and I will hopefully be back Oh and his Coconut Shakes are very special

Traditional restaurant! Only visited once but was impressed with the food and the setting. Popularity is reflected that when we visited, evening in March mid week, we had to queue! Kitchen is at front of the premises and watching the staff prepare and cook meals was a delight, restaurant recently re-located. Food was excellent, cheap and large portions, penang curry spicy was our favourite. Staff were friendly, everyone was personally greeted on arrival.

Jetzt schon Kult! Wenn es auf der Insel eine 100 Prozent Empfehlung gibt , dann hier! Einfach versuchen einen Tisch zu kriegen. Abends ein Abenteuer. Der Chef eine Kabarettnummer "Kabumm"! Essen umwerfend, sind an manchen Tagen 2mal dagewesen.

„PumPui“ // „Sangsom“ Kurz zur Erklärung: das „PumPui“ liegt mehr im Inland und die Bewertungen hier betreffen auch dieses Restaurant Das Restaurant, dessen Lage über Tripadvisor beim PumPui angezeigt wird, ist aber das SANGSOM. Wir waren gestern dort. Ebenfalls ganz tolle Küche, sehr freundliches Personal, faire Preise, rundum zufrieden. Ich werde aber auch das „richtige“ PumPui aufsuchen, nachdem ich laut den Bewertungen hier nur tolles lese!

Das beste Curry meines Lebens Ich komme nun schon seit 4 Jahren nach Thailand und kenne viele Regionen im Land und habe Curries in allen erdenklichen Varianten gegessen. Aber heute habe ich ein neues Level kennengelernt und zwar das beste Panang Curry was ich jemals in Thailand gegessen habe. Pum Pui ist etwas abseits der Küste im Hinterland gelegen, TripAdvisor zeigt bei mir nicht die korrekte Lage auf der Map an, aber über Google Maps habe ich das Restaurant dann gefunden. Die Leute hier sind wahnsinnig freundlich und das Lokal sehr sehr schön und gemütlich. Als erstes sieht man direkt die offene Küche, in der alles frisch zubereitet wird. Und dann dieses Panang Curry, ich bin verliebt! Cremig, spicy, mit richtig viel Einlage drin und nicht so eine dünne Suppe wie man es leider oft bekommt. Ganz toll ausbalancierte Aromen, einfach DER Wahnsinn. Und dann auch noch so große Portionen für einen absolut kleinen Preis. Für mich ein absoluter Geheimtipp auf Koh Phangan! Unbedingt hingehen!

Der Hammer Waren heute zum zweiten Mal da. Die Küche ist einfach der Hammer. Die Leute freundlich und es passt einfach alles. Gehört zu meinen Favourites in Asien.

Resto sympa Nous sommes allés manger à midi entre amis restaurant familiale ou les prix sont pas très élevés la nourriture est de bonne qualité une bonne halte pour se restaurer

Heerlijk eten!! Super lekker hier gegeten. Verschillende curry's geprobeerd, de tempura shrimps, padtai... echt ALLES was heerlijk! De chef kok, en duidelijk ook de eigenaar, is al een traktatie op zichzelf om naar te kijken. Wat een leuke vent en runt de toko met grapjes en vooral veel liefde! Enig minpuntje is dat er vaak een lange wachtrij is en ze niet helemaal snappen grote tafels uit elkaar te trekken zodat je meer mensen kwijt kunt waardoor je onnodig lang staat te wachten maar hee, het eten is het waard! En eindelijk ook weer voor normale prijzen.

Delicious Thai food This restaurant has a very delicious Thai food! We ordered papaya salad, noodle soup, spring roll and fried fish and everything was so fresh and good! Also, unlike many other Thai food places on Phan Gan, they serve you food pretty quickly. Great place.

Simply the best authentic Thai food in a relaxed environment that you will find on Koh phangan Pum Pui is the thai word for fat. Which is no surprise when every time you leave pum pui’s restaurant you leave with a massive smile and a little bit fatter. All dish’s are cooked from scratch to order which allows you to to customise spice levels to taste. If you want a massaman without chilli - no problem. Apart from the most authentic Thai food cooked to pum pui’s wife’s and mother’s recipes you also are greeted with the most welcoming of staff. It’s a small family there and it really feels that way. The restaurant is always busy and full of smiles and kitchen staff are always laughing. I recommend the Penang duck curry and the fried fish, although the fish is big enough for 2 to share :) If your on Koh phangan you would be mad to miss this opportunity to eat at this amazing place! It gets busy so if you don’t want to miss out, message and reserve a table..

The best Thai food in Koh Phangan I spent the last month in Thailand and 18 days of the trip we’re in Koh phangan. My boyfriend and I ate at Pum Pui at least 10x because it was AMAZING. Their chicken Panang curry was the best I’ve ever had. Their green curry chicken too. Their beef and chicken masamans, pad sew ew, and pad Thai were all 10/10, no complaints. The staff were so helpful and the owner is welcoming and passionate about his business. The coconut shake mixed with mango is phenomenal. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh phangan! Prices are exceptionally well priced for the quality and deliciousness.

Délicieux, pas cher et surtout un accueil sympa Tout est dans le titre, ce restaurant est mon coup de cœur de Koh Phangan. Cuisine Thai très savoureuse et service plus que souriant.

Pyszne jedzenie na Kop Phangan !!! Najlepsza restauracja w jakiej byłam na Kop Phangan. Jedzenie jest pyszne !!! Duży wybór i miła obsługa. Polecam bardzo.

Einfach vorbeikommen und selber Staunen! Wir sind seit mehr als einer Woche hier und haben dieses Restaurant per Zufall beim vorbeifahren gesehen und spontan angehalten. Zum Glück! sind wir noch paar Tage hier und können gleich mehrmals in den Genuss dieser fabelhaften Küche kommen! Es ist mit Abstand das allerbeste Essen, dass wir in Koh Phangan bisher gegessen haben! Die weltbekannten Streetfood etc. sind bereits eine Klasse für sich, pum pui jedoch ist eine Klasse für sich, einfach komplett andere Liga! Bestes Essen, beste Bedienung, bester Chef! Ein Meisterwerk!!!
