Comfortable stay in lovely neighbourhood
☺ Lovely location on a quiet street with a few shops and cafes nearby. Easy to check in, just go to the bar and you are shown to your room. Access to the room is through the garden and a locked external gate. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable with 2 big pillows per person. Nice bathroom and shower, and the room was cozy and dark.
☹ The room opened straight onto the pub garden which in the summer may be a bit disconcerting (there was only 1 room like this). Although there's a lock on the door, it would have been reassuring to have a secondary lock, such as a bolt or chain while in the room. There was a bit of noise but to be expected in a pub room, and nothing that kept me awake.
