These guys are second to none to deal with! Compassionate, caring, kind, professional, they actually care about the animal and you. The bus is air conditioned too so you can rest assure, if you’re wanting to transport in summer - your fur baby will be cool whilst travelling. I will be using dog movers again!

I have used Dog movers a few times now. So that pretty much says it all. If your not happy you don't go back. They moved different types of animals for me and I was very happy both times. They put up with trying conditions from the first sender in nsw and they did an amazing job, the second sender was a professional and they have used them before. I live in North Queensland so nothing up here is easy. It's hot and far between places and this company does a fantastic job. The rates are fine. The staff are brilliant the drivers deserve credit.

I purchased a puppy from Bendigo and I’m on the Mid North Coast NSW. A 2 day trip. I was so impressed with dog movers . I picked up my pup at 8 am and every cage was so clean, no smell at all , fresh water and I noticed a bed in the van so the driver stays with them the whole trip. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them

Thank you for choosing to move your boy with us Tania. I trust he has settled in well following his trip. We appreciate the feedback.

Recklessly driving a bus and Trailer through traffic is not a good look for your company.
الرد من Dog Movers 2024.09.11
Hi Kaleb. According to my driver, "A nutcase in a white Hilux" overtook him dangerously when he had to stop suddenly to avoid a person crossing the intersection erratically on a pushbike. The Hilux driver ended up with his wheels on the the concrete median as a result. This happened at the lights, near Woolies, in Logan Village. I can see from your Facebook profile that you have a White Hilux. Was that you? if so, why would you post a bad review about my staff when they were driving cautiously and you were not?

I wish I could give zero stars. My puppy was supposed to travel from Toowoomba to Townsville 2 months ago. Somewhere near Bundaberg the vehicle crashed in a 110km/hr zone. The van turned on its side and ended up in a ditch. It turned out that the dogs and puppies were travelling in a horse float behind the vehicle, and this had also crashed onto it's side. When I asked for details on the crash I was given very little. Eventually they admitted that the woman was probably travelling around 110 km/hr when she crashed. The back of the horse float sprang open and several crates opened with some older dogs escaping. They were able to get them back, and eventually the dogs were brought to Rockhampton to be examined by a vet. Fortunately my puppy was not physically harmed, but he was very anxious for a couple of days and startled easily for some time afterwards. I drove to Rockhampton to pick him up as I didn't want him to be in their care for any longer than that. I do not consider this company to have delivered my puppy safely, and I definitely do not consider it to be safe to have them travelling in a horse float at 110km/hr. I did not find Sienna good to deal with at all. I found her defensive and cagey when dealing with my questions. I will never, ever use this company again and do not recommend them in any way, shape or form. Update and reply to owner response: If that is what you consider to be "delivered safely" then you really need to warn your customers. Safety to you means loading their dog/puppy into a modified horse float (which is how Sienna described it to me) which will travel at up to 110km/hr (as she told me on the phone) and could potentially fall on it's side for no reason and crash into a ditch. Some of the dogs will be in crates which are inadequately secured so that they are able to escape and need to be rounded up somehow. The fact that my puppy was miraculously not physically harmed is considered proof of safety. If the driver is still experiencing issues from the crash then it must have been awful. Your pompous and defiant reply, insisting I owe you respect is exactly why I wrote this review. Never once did you apologise or express regret for what happened. You are deeply concerned for the float and your vehicle without ever mentioning the stress that you put the puppies and owners through. I owe you nothing. What you owe me is an apology, and reimbursement for the night that I needed to spend in a hotel as I had to drive from Emerald to Rockhampton to pick him up, which meant I couldn't make it home the same day.

Heather. Despite a major accident we did deliver your puppy (and all the other Pets) safely. Much of your review is simply not factual. You were given little information about the crash on the day because we knew little. The accident happened in a remote location with no witnesses and the driver was in the hospital. It was not a 110km/h zone and we don’t believe that she was speeding. GPS records indicate she was likely doing around 100km/h. The trailer was not a horse float. It was designed specifically for the purpose it was being used for. It was a heavily specialised, $60,000 custom built Pet Transport float. The most advanced of it’s kind in Australia. All the pets in the float survived unharmed. You yourself changed your delivery destination from Townsville to Emerald prior to the accident to get your puppy sooner. You then chose to meet us in Rockhampton where we took all the pets to a vet to be checked before we travelled out to Emerald. My apologies if my wife did not come across as the epitome of customer service excellence to you that day. She was very stressed, dealing with an emergency situation, a driver on the way to hospital with a serious back injury, little information about the accident, with multiple additional helpers and staff to co-ordinate and 36 worried clients to contact and update. I understand that this was stressful for yourself and that you may choose not to use us again as a result. However, this was an accident, and the most significant incident we have suffered in 20 years. It resulted in our driver being hospitalised and the loss of our Van & Float. From my point of view the fact that we have invested heavily in our Pet Transport fleet and have a team of professional and experienced Pet Transport staff allowed us to be able to recover quickly from this incident and deliver all our clients pets safely, and largely on time. The road transport industry is one that requires long driving hours and millions of km of travel. Accidents and breakdowns occur and all Professional Transporters are constantly at risk to meet the demands of their clients. Within the Pet Transport industry the owners and staff of the many small, usually family businesses, pour their hearts and souls into caring for our clients pets. In the past few years the industry has had two fatalities and a number of businesses have closed after both major and less significant accidents than this. 3 months on our driver is still recovering from her injuries and it is uncertain when she will be able to return to work. Our staff and the whole Pet Transport industry deserve more respect than you have shown in your review. Response to Heather's Update: I am sorry Heather that you are not getting this. Accidents happen in the transport industry. I did not say you owe me an apology, rather that you show more respect for the injured driver and others in the industry that are performing a difficult and dangerous job to get your pets and all freight delivered to you. This is especially true in QLD where multiple fatal events this week alone have highlighted the immense dangers for the transport industry on the Bruce highway. Please, stop making things up. It was NOT a modified horse float and speed was NEVER considered to be a factor in the accident. Yes, our drivers do travel at up to 110km/h on roads with 110km/hr speed limits, but this was not such an area. Your comment "the float could fall on its side for no reason" is bizarre, this was a very serious accident. You personally made a choice to change your booking and travel to Emerald before the accident happenned and then you chose to travel to Rockhampton to collect your pup despite us still delivering to Emerald the same day. I am sorry for the stress you experienced but you seem to believe it was a choice we made rather than being due to an accident.

QLD to Wilton NSW. We were extremely happy with the service provided by Dogmovers (for our cat). The staff were very helpful and polite, even with my hundreds of questions. The van was airconditioned, all the pets were quiet and super cute, they received food and water. Pick up and delivery times were accurate. The communication throughout the experience was awesome. Thank you!

Thanks Sharon for your kind words, great to know that both the transport and the booking process went smoothly. We appreciate your business.

I had to move my 13 year old senior dog from Brisbane to Melbourne & I was extremely paranoid due to his age. However, the staff members of Dog Movers were fantastic from the moment I submitted a quote, to the day I received Alfie. I had so many questions & concerns but the staff answered all of my questions professionally & patiently. On the day of the pick up, a driver will call your contact person (which was another person in Brisbane dropping off my dog on my behalf) to confirm the pick up time. On the day of the drop off, another driver (who was David) called me 1.5 hour before he was due to arrive to advise he was arriving earlier than planned, provided me clear instructions on where to meet and what time. David arrived exactly at 4pm as promised, with my very happy dog who enjoyed the road trip along with David's own dog! I couldn't have been happier to have chosen Dog Movers as they were by far one of the cheapest companies out there (I was quoted $900 for a similar route by another company). Please don't hesitate to use Dog Movers to transport your pet within Australia - I can't recommend them enough. Thank you to David, Sue and the Customer Service team for taking care of my dog Alfie :)

My english bulldog pup contracted parvo virus from the transport either from his cage or was walked at a stop on the way down. He was the only dog from the litter that had parvo. He went from the transport truck into out house and never touched the ground. Till he was taken to the emergency vet. I am currently out of pocket 5k in vet bills with the pup requiring more treatment.

Hi Luke, It's dissapointing that you want to put blame for your pups illness on Dogmovers when you, as a proffessed experienced breeder, know well the risks of ignoring all advice and transporting pups before they are fully vaccinated and without the recommended breeder insurances.

Disgusting service, dogs and cats have died or been near death, owner victim blames. They had shoddy work practises like leaving a container unlocked and a dog to be stolen! Threatens owners if they post photos of how their pets had suffered. More ppl need to speak out and report this company as these pets are your children, I would surely hope they don’t treat their kids or grandkids this way? I won’t be recommending anyone to this company.
