I thought they were a good place..had family members that had bought from him so I trusted it..but I recently bought a car there and it was messing up the next day and I took it back..they said they fixed it and I got it back and the problems continued..I took it back 4 times after that and they didn’t ever get it fixed..it was in bad shape and was very dangerous..could have really caused an accident but he continued to give it back to me knowing the problem wasn’t fixed..and then several times refused to just give me another car so finally I said I was done..I will not deal with this dealership ever again and do not recommend them to anyone else

We are truly sorry you had a bad experience with Dons Auto Sale and you are correct about us trying to repair your vehicle even though you bought it as-is. We carried it to the Chevrolet place for repairs and we were told it was repaired .We spent several hundred dollars trying to correct the problem but when we were told it was going to cost 6000.00 for a transmission we said no-way. I did offer to trade your vehicle for another one but you decided to not do that but to go somewhere else and with all the problems and inconvenience it caused you we certainly understand. We wish you the best .

Honest hard working Christians. Didn't try to fleece me either. Unlike the previous shop I'd been using for inspections for years. They told me I had seven issues. However, I only know of 3. Oil leak, struts, leaks power steering fluids from reservoir. Which could be faulty hose. None of which would casue me to not pass inspection. I drive my car 6 days a week to and from work. So I know it pretty well. Keep in mind this car has 400k on the odometer. So you can't be upset with the obvious. Anyways, the guy at dons had me in and out. No up selling or shady business tactics. I suggest people stay away from chain places and give their money to small town shops.

I normally don’t post bad reviews… but this was one of those times I just didn’t like the service or the way the business conducted itself. I called ahead about a vehicle on the website and came in for a look and test drive. I arrived and spoke with the owner before checking out the vehicle. Once done checking out the vehicle I returned to find him with another customer and waited for 30 minutes before he off handedly told me that during that entire time I was waiting he had been in the process of selling the vehicle to the other customer. Wasted gas and time on a trip up there just to have him sell the car out from under me. Might have saved myself some trouble though because I’d heard later that he has a bad reputation for selling cars that don’t last.

I wished I had known you were unhappy with our service but we sell cars on a first come first serve basis. If had of known you were interested in a particular car and i was in the process of selling it I sure would have told you. We value every customer that takes the time to come to us for a vehicle and really wish we could have had a chance to make it right with you and again we really regret your bad experience.
