Extremely satisfied with the work Itay and his team did for our roof. We moved into a new place in San Anselmo in July 2026, and knew that the roof needed to be replaced. What we *didn't* realize until actively living there was just how noisy this roof was. When heating up or cooling down at the start/end of the day, there would be literal SLAMS coming from somewhere in the roof. We talked with over a dozen professionals about this problem, and no one knew what it was, and each had their own theory. We felt most confident with Itay due to the thoughtful way he approached the problem, and also the fact that he had a general contractor license, which was something we did not want to have to coordinate between two parties, given the obvious structural component of the job. Itay's team finished up in about a week, and the result looks excellent. Since then, we've had zero slams at all, and the loud creaking is reduced by about 80% (and that comes from the existing interior tongue-and-groove configuration, which there was no way to address with this job). Could not be happier with the result, and the $38k we paid was more than worth it.

DoPro Construction is the only contractor I work. They did exterior paint and fixed parts of the exterior that got worn from the sun about 2 years ago. They just recently did a kitchen remodel and now a bathroom remodel. Reasonable prices and the best part is the guidance/advice along the way. I am a single mother and DoPro alleviated a lot of the stress during the remodel - they answer all my questions and help me make the most informed decisions. I love my new kitchen - they also recommended mini splits instead of replacing the heating unit which would have taken up precious space. They also built a laundry area where the heating unit was. I highly recommend DoPro!

I'm sure the work is fine and up to code but post work care and clean up is lacking, I should charge storage free since they want to use my front as a lay down yard. More excuses and delays in picking up left over material. A reasonable amends was made.

DoPro Construction replaced our roof, and we are delighted with the work. Project Manager Austin Makeev did a terrific job managing the project. He was professional, responsive, thorough, personable and a pleasure to work with. The crew that actually did the work was professional, polite and friendly. They did a wonderful job cleaning up every day. I can happily recommend DoPro Construction.

If you’re looking for a new roof, Itay at DoPro construction should absolutely be on your short list. He was well spoken, considerate, and sincere in his mission to get you the best work possible. He gave me multiple quotes for different options and was able to meet me where I needed to be. We did end up with a different company but I would recommend others to speak with Itay to see if he’s the right fit.

Itay was really great at explaining my options, what he'll do, and then he did a wonderful job while we were on vacation. Our roof was poorly re-shingled by unlicensed contractors (save money by always using licensed contractors!), so we needed an experienced roofer to redo everything; that is, remove the unused vents and redeck those areas before reshingling. Five different licensened roofers came during the week to inspect and bid. Itay was the only one who used a drone along with walking every inch; he (by far) spent the most time looking and measuring and taking notes of what he saw. He then explained in detail (more than the others) about what was good, what was bad, and what was ugly. Itay also recommended a lighter shingle color because it helps improve our solar panel production by keeping solar panels cooler. He really knows a lot about roofs and which factors to consider for every situation! We weren't able to watch him work since we already had plans on the days he was available, so we were happily surprised with his daily photos texted to us to know his progress. And were even happier when we returned home to the finished (perfect) roof. Since Itay has experience in building all kinds of things, we plan to hire him many times in the future and have already introduced some friends to him.

Even though we ended up using a different company to replace our roof, we had a very good experience consulting with Itay. He was upfront, well informed and courteous. After his initial assessment of the project, he followed up with additional information and suggestion. We’ll keep DoPro Construction in mind for our next project

I had my roof replaced in February 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first consultation, Itay (the owner) was professional, punctual, and incredibly thorough. He arrived on time, inspected the roof, and then sat down with me to walk through detailed photos of the issues he found. He clearly explained what needed to be done, the materials he recommended, and how long the project would take. What really stood out was the transparency - Itay even showed me photos of previous roof replacements to give me confidence in their work. I received four quotes from different companies, but DoPro's was by far the most comprehensive and well-explained. The work was completed on time, and Itay personally came by everyday to check on the crew and keep me updated. That level of involvement and care is rare these days. I highly recommend DoPro Construction to anyone looking for quality roofing work and exceptional customer service.

Do pro Construction and the owner Itay are great! They did a new roof on our large tall Victorian house in SF. It was a huge job and required removing 3 layers of old roof, all the way down to the 115 year old wooden shingles! They down new sheathing and a new roof. They handled the big, complex somewhat dangerous job on a high pitched roof very well with no issues in 5 days. We chose them because the pricing was very good and we are very happy with the result. The interactions with Itay and the company were very professional and friendly. Itay was able to use his very cool drone to inspect the roof thoroughly and he also gave us before, during and after videos of the work. I highly recommend DoPro Construction for roofing work.

As a licensed general contractor, I understand the importance of partnering with skilled and reliable subcontractors—especially when it comes to specialized trades like roofing. Since I do not carry a roofing license myself, I subcontracted Dopro Construction to handle the roofing portion of a recent project, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. From the initial communication through to project completion, the Dopro team was professional, responsive, and efficient. They showed up on time, maintained a clean and safe job site, and completed the work faster than expected without cutting any corners. Their crew demonstrated solid craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring the roof was installed correctly and met all necessary standards. What stood out most to me was their commitment to doing the job right the first time. There were no shortcuts, no need for callbacks, and no surprises—just quality work delivered as promised. Their experience and organization made my job as GC easier, and it was clear they take pride in what they do. I’ll absolutely be working with Dopro Construction again on future builds and renovations. It’s not always easy to find subcontractors who are both dependable and highly skilled, but Dopro checks all the boxes. I highly recommend them to other contractors or homeowners in need of roofing services.

Itay was easy to work with and clean and upfront about each step. DoPro provided me with all the information and allowed me to choose. The roof project was finished earlier than estimated and the workers were respectful and clean. After t finishing the job the workers made sure to clean the front and backyard.
