My insurance claim recommended me to this shop for my 2018 Audi Q3 when it was side swiped and left this ugly dent and scrape of paint on the right side of my vehicle. The right side quarter panels were bent and door as well. There were some coordination that needed to be done in order for repair to be fully completed but Kenny and Arshak made sure that that my vehicle was completed to my satisfaction. It did take longer than expected and a lot of checking out small details to make sure my vehicle was put back together correctly. Overall since i was not limited by time I had a great experience! Do the following before any type of repair as this takes any guessing away from the end product: 1. Take overall pictures of your vehicle. This includes where the damage is at from the accident, back end of vehicle, right side (starboard), left side (port side), forward end of vehicle, and all of the interior of your car. This takes away any guessing out if some kind of dent or scratch arises after repair or if there is a misalignment of a part after a repair when the misalignment wasn't there upon turning over vehicle to repair shop. 2. When repair shop is completed fixing your vehicle take overall pictures again to document state of vehicle upon pick up in case you miss little details the day of and catch something off later on. 3. Upon pick up as well make sure your interior is put into place correctly, check that your windows open and close correctly, pretty much make sure your electrical components of your vehicle are functioning as they should. 4. At the end of the day communication is key. We aren't all perfect so if something is off just communicate with the repair shop with evidence and proof and the job will be done.

they promise hold the old parts but not. they just email on the date they complete the work and makes me paid extra 3 days of car rentals. the head light they replace has dust on surface and hidden corners, looks like they didn't replace new parts. Completely not satisfy. not recommended

There aren’t many Tesla approved repair shops near me in San Gabriel Valley area. It took a while for me to find a shop that I trust and insurance is approved. Once I decided to use them after reading multiple reviews, I decided to repair my Tesla model 3 here, 2 years ago. They did a really good job and I just had to use them again for my model Y. They provide updates to me via text every few days and that’s all I needed to know and if I can get car back in the estimate repair time. They got it done early both times and I’m quite happy. If you goto their shop for the estimate, over half the cars there, are Teslas. So you know their staff are familiar with how to handle EV.

With a $9,8XX price tag, is Car Star Douglas a Tesla specialist? ABSOLUTELY NOT. 4.8 current stars on Yelp? Yeah, 0 stars from me, though I had to give 1 star for receiving my vehicle back. SERVICE AND ATTITUDE ALL POOR, CONTINUE READING AS A PERSON WHO DOESNT WORK HERE SO YOU CAN WEAR MY CURRENT SHOES ON THIS MATTER My two doors were replaced and I recently got my car back after a few weeks. I was so excited to drive the next morning only to find out the car wouldn't drive or even pickup my GPS location BECAUSE my car was stuck in "Service Mode" for an entire week!! I had to figure out how to deactivate it each time I drove the vehicle anywhere. Thank you, Car Star Douglas for turning my car into a road hazard! (SIDE NOTE: When I first dropped off the car, I was told by John that they will repair any dents or paint chips, I had one area, ONLY ONE the size of a trimmed pinky nail on the middle of my rear trunk. When I got my car back it wasn't fixed or even painted. It was just THERE AGAIN. I was actually given paint to paint it myself after an employee attempted to paint it himself, though I'm sure he's qualified to do this for me??) ALRIGHT, so I've finally gotten to driving my car for a week and have now notice their quality on a Tesla repair. My door trims are all crooked, my doors aren't properly aligned--in reference to the exact opposite side of my car. Just walk to the left side, take a glance, and then take a walk to right side taking a glance and compare the two sides! Can't you guys just match the other side during your quality jobs? I WILL INCLUDE SOME PICTURES FOR YELP WITHIN THIS REVIEW IF ANYONE WORKING HERE WAS CURIOUS Next is the door seal for water and road noise protection. My rear door seal was hanging off the bottom of the door--it wasn't fulled applied with a simple application. Yes, simple as pressing down on a sticker. (1 out of 5 stars for this job. It is such an easy task that protects the quiet comfort of a Tesla!! Am I asking for too much for basic repair work?) I only noticed this because of the excessive road noise on the street and freeway. I fixed it myself by pulling the weather strip off, trimmed some of it, YES I CUT SOME OF IT OFF, and reapplied it myself. Though I have no idea because I'm not TESLA CERTIFIED! They claimed someone personally drove my car on the freeway and vouched for their workmanship‍‍‍. IF THAT WERE TRUE, WHICH I BELIEVE TO BE TRUE, THEN THE GUY WHO DROVE MY CAR DIDNT PAY MUCH ATTENTION AT ALL OR DOESNT DRIVE A TESLA TO BE ABLE TO TELL A DIFFERENCE, OR, DOUBLE "OR," HE SPECIFICALLY HAD HIS MIND MADE UP TO LOOK FOR ONLY BLATANT NOISE. IF THIS WAS YOU, PERSON WHO SAT IN MY CAR, PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ABOUT YOUR DRIVE AND I'LL SHOW YOU MY OPPOSING SIDE OF THE CAR AS REFERENCE AS TO WHERE THE DOOR SEAL SHOULD BE APPLIED AND HOW THE NOISE DIFFERENCE IS ACTUALLY NOTICEABLE! Next is their 4 wheel alignment. Their specs are random numbers that don't look similar or symmetrical from the left side and right side. I've already contacted AAA to have my car REALIGNED at Tesla instead, because I'm sure asking for another 4 wheel alignment will only be sent to nowhere up in the food chain other than answered back with a "No." Tesla charges $275 for this job, and I am certain it's a darn better job than Car Star Douglas. Pictures will be provided for EVERY STATEMENT MADE IN THIS REVIEW I have yet to find other issues with their repairs since it has only been a week that I've spent with my car, SO THIS REVIEW WILL BE UPDATED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ALSO, when I went to pickup my vehicle, I was told that I had to pay a deductible. AAA ALREADY SENT YOU GUYS THE MONEY WEEKS IN ADVANCE, SO IT IS UP TO YOU TO DO THE MATH AND REALIZE THAT THERE IS AN EXTRA $500 THERE! (AGAIN, my God, I feel I need to repeat this: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE CORRECT FOR YOU TO DO OTHER THAN DO BASIC MATH for all clients picking up their vehicles? IT IS SUCH A SIMPLE TASK HERE!) So I first showed my text message received from AAA as proof and as my answer, I then showed an EMAIL from AAA as my second answer, I then had to hand over my phone for 10 MINUTES so she could "confirm" with my adjuster that the money has already been sent weeks in advance, ALL TO ONLY finally be told that I no longer had to pay a deductible. I just had to sit through all this W/ HER UGLYFACE AND ATTITUDE. FACT. I didn't oppose anything point zero zero zero one percentage. I willingly gave any and all info WITH a smile to this lady within seconds of her DEMANDS. EACH THREE LONG DAMN DEMANDS. I did my part perfectly and was left LEAVING CARSTAR with that atmosphere only to FIND MORE ISSUES FROM CARSTAR DOUGLAS--hence this damn essay of a review I feel like all of this is a joke, but it ain't. All these things happened, are listed here as facts, and I still need to return for their claim of service and quality!!! If you can't read and think about the 1 star reviews about this place, then you deserve to be a fan

Arshak and John really did a great job of taking care of me. They kept me updated the whole time. This place is very professional and reasonably priced. They have it down to a science. If you need car repair they will take care of everything. From billing insurance for you and getting you a rental car or just a ride home. I have been there 2 separate times this month (2 separate accidents) not my fault. One was Insurance and 1 was out of pocket. Both times they exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy with them and I recommend this place to everyone.
