Daniel Pearson came out the next day after our discussion with a DT Roofing representative. He inspected our roof for damage in preparation for putting our home on the market. He found no damage, and then performed routine preventative maintenance of re-caulking the exposed nail heads. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and stayed completely focus on his maintenance activity until it was completed in a timely fashion. We will use DT Roofing and Daniel again for any future roofing work.

They replaced my roof and gutters after the recent hail storm, it was a pretty seamless experience from the first call to the last visit. I recommended DT to 2 neighbors for the great job they did for me.

We were lucky enough to have Clay and the DT team referred to us by a neighbor. They have done repair work for us and eventually a full replacement. Clay and team is fantastic and make the process very easy.

This seems like a good company; clearly, I mean look at all the 5-star reviews, but my experience was not the same as most. I'm not trying to ruin any ratings or anything like that - just sharing my personal experience. I was able to get a saleman out in a very quick and timely manner; he was very nice, professional and personable, as salesmen should be. He said he needed to get the metal guy out before quoting, which is fine... But that took a solid 3 weeks and several calls and texts just to get him out there just to look at it and give me a number. Not a huge deal, I was still happy at this point. I finally get the quote, we go over the numbers and the scope, I sign the contract and we schedule the work. A little back story: our house is brand new and the windows and porches were not installed correctly and they leaked, which is why I hired DT; to fix it and do it the way it was supposed to be done in the first place (to be clear, DT did not install them originally). The quote was a lot, but for what they were supposed to do, it seemed fair. They were supposed to install trim-type stuff over the windows and caulk it up so it didn't leak; it didn't look the best, but it fixed the problem, and that was all explained to me and I was accepting of it. The windows are not the issue. The porches. It was explained to me that DT Roofing were supposed to detach the porches from the structure, cut the R panel and install some L-shaped flashing behind the upper portion of the R panel and over/on top of the porch. That's how it was supposed to be built in the first place and that's what I was told and understood would happen when DT provided me a quote and took the job. This was all told to me over the phone or in person and the written quote was very vague - it was clear on the written quote, however, that the porch work was to be different than the window work; not all the same. They ended up doing to the porches exactly what they did to the windows. Some trim and caulking; which is 100% the cheap way to do it and not "the right way" like I wanted. When asked about it, apparently the workers made a judgment call onsite because they didn't know if there was a vapor barrier or not and didn't want to ruin the spray foam by peeling off the metal siding if there was not one. That's great, but I would expect a them to at least reach out to me to try to get an answer on something so important before just changing the scope of work without informing me (because it does have a vapor barrier and the work could have been done the correct way without ruining anything). I expressed my disapproval of the work done and DT so graciously gave me a discount of $200 on a $7,000 job... 3% on something that probably cut their labor costs by close to half? That felt like a little bit of a slap in the face. I understand companies have "off jobs" where things just don't go right and once it's done there's really nothing you can really do at that point... And I wasn't going to write a review, but what pushed me over the edge was the last phone call I had with them... The guy was a complete jerk and smarted off to me, which pissed me off.

When you want results, you want DT Roofing. We selected DT Roofing out of 5 contractors from The Good Contractors List to help my recently widowed cousin. Clay Popkess, Project Manager, shined from the beginning with his knowledge and professionalism. Companies always seem to put their best foot forward to get the contract signed. Once that happens, the reality of missed deadlines and poor communication usually kicks in. Not at all the case with Clay. He never missed a beat throughout the process. He kept us updated and did a fantastic job working with Allstate, an insurance carrier known to be tough to deal with. Clay's attention to detail was on full display when he discovered that the HVAC unit was severely damaged due to the hailstorm. He quickly brought in an outside expert to write up the supplemental claim, which ended up getting approved by Allstate. My cousin now has a new roof and HVAC unit because of Clay and the DT Roofing Team. I can't say enough about the level of quality, service and professionalism that we experienced. Clay and DT Roofing will be my first and only call for all future roofing needs.

DT did a great job for us. They worked around our schedule and completed the job in a very timely fashion. Jacob, who oversaw the job, was available whenever we had any questions and guided us through the process. When the crew left everything was replaced to previous locations. I would definitely use DT Roofing anytime I needed roofing work done.

The roofers did a great job but the people they had do our gutters which they said they was a division of DT roofing shattered one of my windows while my wife and I was sitting right there and then they was denied that they did it said it was done from the inside, I hate leaving bad reviews being in business for myself but it’s been over two months and I’ve heard nothing, the work they did was great even the gutters my issue is my window.

I asked for help on social media. Jacob reached out quickly. My job was relatively small and uncomplicated. Work was done at an amazing rate and in less than 3 days!! PLUS he addressed and fixed two other concerns he could have easily overlooked as out of his scope of work. Jacob is very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. He explained everything, answered all my questions, and didn’t try to upsell anything. I Will definitely use this company going forward.

We recently had wind and hail damage which created a roof leak on our back porch. Jeff Hansen was highly recommended by several neighbors as the man to contact to get the repair done quickly and efficiently. We are deeply grateful as he was no doubt the best communicator we've ever dealt with. It's great to be informed when needed and he returned our text questions almost immediately. His roofing repairman, Steven, did an excellent job of replacing our flashing, shingles, and vent - it looks great and we now know the repair will last for many years to come. We are extremely pleased and we definitely recommend Jeff Hansen if you need a new roof or minor roof repairs.
