We had our wedding at East Mersea Hall beginning of September 2024, and it was the best choice we made by far! Anneka had her team were fantastic from the initial booking to our 1st dance. Such a stunning place they have, the staff were superb! The weather was on our side and we were able to have our ceremony outside with my mom's spectacular flowers either side of us. Honestly we can't fault our day and would have it over and over again at East Mersea Hall without a doubt. Thank you again Anneka, Chef, Kayleigh, Ella, Soumaya and Milly x you guys Rock

We had our wedding here in October, we went for the Twilight package and had an evening wedding It really was so special the venue looked spectacular all lit up in the evening Anneka and her team were truly amazing they offered us so much support we are so grateful it was the best we wish we could do it all over again. Highly recommend

Well you’d like to think we enjoyed our visit and as we got married here I’m pleased to say we loved it. The venue was in absolutely pristine condition, the staff were on hand to help us and our guests with our every need and the food was delicious. The bridal suite was the perfect base for the brides party to get ready and then a fantastic place for us to relax in after the guests had gone home.

East Mersea hall is just fabulous. We couldn’t have wished for a better wedding venue. The Hall and gardens are just beautiful, the staff were excellent and the food top notch. The chef did a fantastic job ensuring all our dietary concerns were met. From the start Anneka (The wedding and events manager) walked us through the planning of the wedding, making many helpful suggestions that contributed to the success of the day. Nothing was too much trouble and any changes we requested were incorporated into the plan, even quite close to the wedding. On the day itself, the staff were always willing to go the extra mile and contributed so much to everyone having a thoroughly enjoyable day. A very professional team.

I got married there in July, it was amazing for start to finish. Beautiful venue with the ideal flow for guests, food was incredible and the staff were all so lovely and well organised. Our assigned wedding day coordinator was so valuable, she definitely made organising less stressful so I could focus on enjoying the process!

We had the most wonderful wedding day at EMH - from start to finish the process of booking the venue, getting everything we needed sorted etc & on the day was just unbelievable the amount of support they provided and helped make everything be the best it possibly could! The biggest thank you to Anneka & Kirsty who were on hand at all times in the lead up and also on the day when in true bridal fashion I was having meltdowns, suppliers were getting things wrong and I was stressing - but they were both the calm to my storm, resolved issues almost instantly and made everything so less stressful and took the issues on so they were not my problem. I would recommend this venue and the staff to absolutely everyone - they are just amazing!!! And the grounds too, are so picturesque and all of our guests commented on how stunning this little hidden gem was 🤍 thank you so much again xxx

Wow just wow!!! We had the most perfect dream wedding at East Mersea Hall. The venue is just stunning. This was the only venue we viewed as we were so blown away by its beauty. There are so many picturesque photo opportunities you just couldn’t choose a favourite. The weather was glorious and made the day even more special as we could have the ceremony in the walled garden but the other ceremony possibilities are just as pretty. Anneka the wedding coordinator was nothing short of amazing. She went above and beyond to make our day the fairytale we envisaged and we couldn’t thank her enough.

Kirsty, Anneka, Sophie, the chef and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every need, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warm hospitality were truly exceptional. From the stunning venue to the impeccable organisation, everything exceeded our expectations. East Mersea Hall is the most perfect wedding venue. The grounds are stunning- every single spot in the venue makes for a beautiful photo. Anneka really went above & beyond for us to make sure we were okay, always quick with her emails & really looked after my groom on the day as he was so nervous. We almost had an indoor wedding because of rain, but as soon as the sun came out all the team quickly got our outdoor ceremony ready! The food is absolutely delicious, & an important part is that we had a guest with a severe nut allergy which immediately staff & Chef catered to this across the entire venue. Our day was an absolute dream- cannot recommend East Mersea Hall, Anneka, Kirsty & all the staff enough, amazing x

Even when we went to our first viewing of East Mersea Hall and it was a cold, rainy evening in March, we both knew almost instantly that this venue was magical enough to be the one for us. It was perfect for the relaxed feel we were after for our slightly smaller wedding and knew the walled ceremony area was just what we were looking for. The whole team were absolutely brilliant in the lead up to the day, especially Anneka who was always on hand for any number of questions we threw at her! Everyone on the day was so efficient and even more importantly, so lovely! We knew everything was in hand and the food was to die for. It's a stunning venue that now holds so many wonderful memories for us from our day.

We got married at East Mersea Hall last month and words can't describe how wonderful our day was! From our first visit right through to our day the team were all so amazing and attentive - especially Anneka who we liaised with throughout the whole process, nothing was too much to ask and her replies were always so helpful and so quick! The venue is so naturally gorgeous so it was just easy to make it look stunning on the day. We opted for a BBQ as we were wanting a more casual/relaxed day and it went down so well with our guests - the food was delicious, as were our canapes! We also wanted to have a fresh crepe van in the evening as our dessert and this was no trouble to the venue which was great as we really wanted to add this to our day. Anneka made sure our day ran smoothly and I as the bride, really didn't have to worry or think too much on the day which made such a difference as you naturally feel nervous but Anneka took this all off my shoulders which I'm so grateful for. Our day was just what we hoped it would be and more - we don't have any regrets which we feel is so lucky to say about our wedding - thank you so much for everything, we would recommend this venue to anyone who is hoping to have a lovely, carefree wedding day!

We recently got married at East Mersea Hall. It's an absolutely stunning venue, and the team are incredible. Anneka made sure every detail was taken care of so for us the whole experience was stress-free. She was incredibly accommodating when we had to make last minute changes in the run up to the big day. On the day the entire team were so attentive to us, and all our guests commented on what a wonderful day they'd had and how good the food was! We had a perfect day thanks to the team.

My Husband and I, got married in May at this amazing venue. East Mersea Hall has a warm, comforting setting with a beautiful ambience to get married, with exceptional customer service and catering. We had a canape reception on the neatly cut lawn, in front of a huge, calm, relaxing beautiful lake. The Wedding and Events Manager Anneka, was a joy to work with and made sure we had the best day we possibly could have had. Thank you so much East Mersea Hall.

The most beautiful venue!! We had the most incredible wedding at East Mersea Hall, the venue is absolutely stunning and had all of our guests falling in love with it on the day as much as we had. The team was amazing from keeping us so calm throughout planning and answering all of our silly questions to keeping everyone’s drinks topped up and even making sure we had a cheeky pizza waiting for us at the end of the night! We really can’t thank you enough!

As a Hair and makeup artist, I've worked here a few times and this review is for brides to pass this information on to their Hair and Makeup Artists. Big prep room with 3 work spaces, no need to bring your makeup chair, winning!! Plugs on the wall are handy but I couldn't plug mine in as no room between the wall and the shelf, if that makes sense, so not overly helpful. Lighting is abit hit and miss so bring additional lighting, just in case. There is absolutely no phone signal, so if you're working from an app for your bridal notes, you are stuffed. Not sure why there isn't any WiFi in the prep room, seems odd! Lots of parking too, you can drive you kit upto the door, but you will have to walk it back to thr car park once finished.

Where do we even begin? Anneka & Kirsty at East Mersea Hall have been an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. They answered all of our 101 questions so speedily and made sure to go above and beyond with every aspect of the planning process. They were both so in control of everything during the on the day coordination and made us feel so calm & that we could just enjoy our day rather than worrying about anything. It was honestly the best day of our lives and we couldn’t rate it higher. We have had so many guests say it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and it is all thanks to East Mersea Hall. Shout out also to Kayleigh, who was beyond helpful to everyone all night, making sure that both guests and suppliers had enough food and who nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again! C&J xxx
