If I could leave a rating with a negative number of stars I would. I dropped off a hydraulic steering cylinder for my tractor to have the seals replaced (which they said they could do). Whoever they have pretending to be a mechanic shouldn’t be allowed to use adult tools. After destroying the cylinder threads trying to open the cylinder and after waiting 2 months while they claimed to be looking for a replacement part and after 2 months of my calling to check on the repair they sent what was left of the cylinder to a machine shop to fabricate a new cylinder. Finally got a call that the cylinder was repaired and ready for pick up only to be told that I was responsible for paying for the damages caused by E&E’s mechanic to the cylinder! When I questioned this I was told by “Mark” it didn’t matter to him if I even picked the part up and they didn’t want my business and not to come back in the future. Since the cylinder is obsolete I had no other choice but I can promise you Mark, I won’t be back and I sure don’t recommend anyone entrusting their “mechanic” to do any repairs on anything.

I took my zero turn mower in recently for a spring that they could not find in their parts manual and found it was under warranty! Great! I brought the mower in and said just to look it over and "check" the blades asking to make sure the spring was found and check why the mower was pulling to the right after I adjusted them myself. Very simple issues to deal with.
A week or so later i received a call saying I had a bill of $245.00 and climbing! 😳 I said this mower was in on warranty repair and was told " I will look into that". We had discussed this at the counter prior to bringing mower in. Got a call back a later saying it was indeed under warranty. Yes I know! End of call.
A few days later I get a call saying the mower is finished and that my bill was $187 and some change.
I was confused because this was a warranty repair. Come to find out they replaced the blades, did a tune up( oil change, plug, filter, etc) on a mower with 100 hours on it and without confirming via phone call to do said repairs.
To their credit they did find a worn part and replaced it which was under warranty.
Well, I came to pick up mower and upon arriving my bill magically went up $275! 😠 I was dumbfounded trying to figure out why that simple missing spring turned into almost $300 bill!
Well the blades were
$35 a piece and they replaced all 3
$95 for shop labor
$65 for tune up
For a grand total of 265 plus taxes!
I asked service writer what all the charges were for on stuff I never approved! All he would do for me was take $10.00 off a blade leaving me with a $245.00 Bill still to pay!
I would remind you that the ticket said "check" blades, not replace and no other work was approved at time of drop off and No phone call to approve any non warranty work, they just did it.
After I paid for this, the tech brought my mower around and after service writer left he apologized for the blades and the work and said the service writer has been known to not call and just have the work done.
My suggestion: CALL THE CUSTOMER FOR EVERYTHING!
unfortunately for them I will not be using them in the future due to the outrageous charges and not getting my consent to do any work other than warranty repair.
Mind you again, this was a brand new mower with a hundred hours on it, so it didn't need filter, plug, or oil change and I am capable of doing all this work myself!

One of the few places where the old school idea, “Let’s make it work, use it up or do with out” is understood ! I brought in an old bush hog shaft for 6 foot mower that had buggered up yolk and universal joint after 30 years of hard use…. They gave me my options and priced it both ways with a smile. I like the people and the attitude “We can do it.” Trusting this business for many years as my folks and my husband used them before they passed on to their heavenly orchard in the sky. I am a believer in voting with my feet and I will return to E&E for as long as my feet allow me to keep farming. One Happy Lady Palo Pinto County “Farm-Her”. Cora

We've had our mower repair done here 2x in the past 5 years. They're super busy and it's hard to get a phone call answered but they get the equipment repaired timely and they follow through. When you drop your equipment, pick up some patience but know the service is excellent and the prices are reasonable as well.

Friendly & informative. They're not pushy and will work to get you a good deal. They delivered the zero turn even though they didn't need to.
