Vasco was an amazing teacher. Our 12-year old was up and gliding the foil in the air doing smooth turns 6o-minutes into the 90-minute lesson. The rest was pure fun and our son can’t stop raving about how great his lesson and e-foiling was. Of course first thing he googled back on land was how much a foil costs :) Vasco also took some amazing pics with his professional camera which he included for free. Worth every penny!!!

Listen carefully to what he says, relax and he will have you efoiling before you believe possible. (I foiled for brief periods on the first lesson and for much longer periods on the second lesson.) Vasco is unique in that not only is he a very accomplished and experienced efoiler (and indeed expert in many other related board sports) he also has a genius for instruction. That is, Vasco has an ability to distil the information a student needs at different points in the learning process while keeping the whole experience fun. I highly recommend Vasco and efoilgc.com! I will be back for more.

Finished an enjoyable morning of efoil lessons with my wife and two sons. Vasco was very informative, patient and encouraging. Certainly knows his craft and the best methods of teaching prospective efoil riders. A must do if you are in the gold coast area.

Great eFoiling experience I recently had an eFoiling lesson with Vasco at eFoilGC, and it was an incredible experience! The equipment was excellent—everything was in perfect condition, which really enhanced the overall experience. The duration of the lesson was ideal. There was more than enough time to learn the basics, enjoy the session, and leave feeling like I got the most out of the experience (and a good workout too). One of the standout aspects was Vasco’s methodology. He was able to communicate with me throughout the lesson via a radio system, offering real-time tips and adjustments, which made learning so much easier and more enjoyable. As an added bonus, Vasco took some fantastic photos during the session, which were a great way to relive the experience and share it with friends and family. I highly recommend Vasco and eFoilGC to anyone interested in trying out eFoiling or refining their skills. It’s definitely worth it! 🌊⚡

I took my 12 year old son to efoilgc for a lesson .he had soooo much fun ,they got him up and riding around on foil first lesson amazing. The coaching technique they use is first class Has a helmet where he talks directly to the student and tells him the corrections he needed to do with his body while on the foil next to him It is so impressive. I cannot recommend highly enough so impressed with there knowledge and enthusiasm Thanks for a great time Cheers david lowlett

Vasco spent the time upfront to ensure that my experience efoiling would happen without a hitch. He is incredibly knowledgeable and his equipment is the very best. The headset and microphone means that instructions can be given whilst you’re actually foiling.

Had a great session with Vasco. My only regret is I found out about eFoilGC on the last day of my stay. I would have gone more. The experience was so much fun! If you are in the Currumbin area GO do this. Can only comment for myself: terrible at balance, but I got foil. As a newby, wetsuit is a must = amount of water time as board time. Session went so quick. Surprisingly exhausting, so do it early in your stay. Go early in the morning. Maybe give yourself a day between sessions. I got foil…and fell off with the shock of the sensation :-). Surprisingly easy to do. Another session and I would have been mostly on the foil and with confidence in controlling the board. And if you are already competent at foiling call Vasco to get onto the waves… now that is my end goal.

Vasco is the best! Took me for my first ever efoil (never foiled either) and got me up and foiling within 20 minutes. Exceptional knowledge on the sport and his teaching was specific to me, my skills and learning style. I highly recommend a lesson to experience the joy of floating above the water in complete safety with Vasco either beside you on a board or in your ear with the headset. Don't waste time, get out there and give this a go. I now have a board ordered and on the way! BOOM!
