We recently (October 5th 2024 to October 20th 2024) completed a 16 day Egypt & Jordan Tour with Egypt Encompassed. We were a group of 4 (3 Family & our friend). Mohamed filled the brief amazingly. From our arrival at Cairo airport until we departed Jordan for Dubai EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was taken care of. Mohamed’s passion for Egypt and his knowledge and expertise were amazing. We were greeted at all airports (Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Amman) and our tour guides for each destination were great. Taking care of Visas, assisting through customs and guiding us to our awaiting transport was such a great experience. Our Nile Cruise was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The food was delicious. And the voices of the vendors are well etched in my memory…. Ola Ola Ola, Bonjour, Bonjour, Bonjour, and hello, hello, hello 😀 What an experience!!!! We had some very special experiences on our tour with visits to very special places. Local restaurants with traditional food in both Egypt and Jordan and an amazing Mosque experience. I would highly recommend Egypt Encompassed!!

Knowledgeable guide; well organised tour and very professionally run operation

Just returned home from a great 18 day holiday in Egypt and Jordan. Mohamed proved to be great guide and tour organiser, ensuring we visited the best sites, stayed at the best hotels and had seamless transport and airport arrivals and departures. All guides were very professional and knowledgeable, and answered any questions we threw at them. I thoroughly recommend Mohamed and Egypt Encompassed for all your travel and tour needs. This was the best tour by the best guide/ Egyptologist you could ever hope for. I can’t put into words how appreciative I am of Mohamed and his kindness, knowledge and expertise. All other guides were also very qualified and professional egyptologists who were very kind and helpful. We travelled in a group of 4 through Egypt and Jordan. We all had an amazing time and any questions or concerns were always quickly answered by Mohamed or our current guide. I cannot fault anything on this tour and simply can’t recommend this company enough!

I recently visited Egypt on a tour. Mohamed Maher was our Tour Guide. Culture, language & customs are always a challenge. Fortunately we had Mohamed as our guide. In addition to an intimate knowledge of Egypt & its history, Mohamed was patient, organised, diligent, protective & above all, possessed a wicked sense of (almost Oz) humour. Mohamed ‘herded the cats’ and gave us a wonderful & informative Egyptian experience. If you are going to tour Egypt, ask for Mohamed as your guide. I strongly recommend him.

Egypt Encompassed really know Egypt well and have access to some of the best hotel and tour deals. We've just returned from a 10-day Luxor to Aswan Nile trip organised by Mohamed Maher from the agency, and it was absolutely amazing. The hotels were top-rate, the tour guides were very knowledgeable, and the 5 day dahabeya trip on the river was so relaxing and memorable, with wonderful crew and delicious food. Best tour guide of Egypt Mohamed was thoroughly knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt, I learnt so much about Egypt during my tour and can only put it down to Mohamad being my tour guide. He was honest and made sure we had all the information to make sure we made decisions about what we were going to do that we were happy with. An enchanting place with a wonderful guide! Mohamed was a wonderful guide! I toured with him in May of 2018. He was extremely knowledgeable and always accommodated the group. He was engaging and catered the trip to people. I have been waiting for the Cairo museum to open up and then I plan on taking my wife and mother on the same tour with Mohamed!

Truly exceptional experience with a truly exceptional tour guide Mohamed. Our tour was truly amazing we had a very small group but best of all was our tour guide Mohamed he was fantastic, his knowledge and passion for his own countries history, artefacts and way of life was outstanding he was able bring to life the people, places and the events that he described. He had a great sense of humour and you felt truly immersed in all aspects of the Egyptian culture. One of his favourite saying was “take up the space” we all learnt very quickly what a valuable tool this was in the crowed museums !!! Nothing was to much trouble for Mohamed either our requests were always considered and if they were possible to do he would organise them. The overall experience of travelling through Egypt was made all the more special because of our your guide Mohamed. I would highly recommend anyone to take a tour with him one of the best guides I’ve had the pleasure to meet and to learn from a truly passionate professional who loves imparting his knowledge to all of his tour members.

An unforgettable experience with an amazing team A truly unforgettable experience with such an amazing team! Mohamed is not an expert in this field but a great person inside and out. Our group couldn’t find a question he couldn’t answer in depth. Beyond that you’ll find him joking around with the group and really bringing everyone together while you’re in his company. The trip logistics were also smooth, you don’t need to stress moving from city to city checking in and generally walking about. Make sure to pick your guides brain for tips on where to eat and what to do - you’ll certainly be rewarded! So happy to have been so well look after - hope to be back soon!!!

An amazing experience in Egypt! My wife and I traveled with Egypt Encompassed in the spring and had a wonderful experience. We had the opportunity to travel all across the country including Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan, and we saw incredible sites covering the span of Egyptian history. Our guide, Mohamed, was absolutely incredible with his vast knowledge of Egyptian history as an Egyptologist, and he is one of the funniest and kindest people that I have ever met. The trip was well organized, the accommodations were outstanding, and everything was planned with great attention to detail. I highly recommend booking with Egypt Encompassed for any trip to Egypt!

Our 14 day tour of Egypt with Egypt's No.1 guide. We spent 14 days touring Egypt and Mohamed was the most passionate and friendly guide you could have asked for. Our tour took us all over the country. From Alexandria to Aswan and lots in between. Our tour included everything from hot days in the desert, cold nights sleeping under the stars, busy times in the bustling city, quiet time in the countryside and a fantastic boat ride down the Nile. Mohamed's depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for Egyptian history was excellent and he always had an answer to whatever query we came up with.
