Great tour but with concerns. We booked a 7 day/8 night river cruise trip with Egypt tours. We stayed on the boat Beau Rivage. The ship was very good with first class meals and very professional and courteous staff. During our cruise we had two very good tour guides. In Luxor we had Ms. Samar and for the duration of the trip from Aswan return to Lexor we had Mr. Hassan Ali. Mr. Ali was very professional and very passionate about the history of ancient Egypt. He was also very honest about the street etiquette with regards to the proper treatment and respect of the street vendors and the children who in many areas, especially in Kom Ombo, were trying to sell or beg for handouts. We had four areas of concern with Egypt tours: first in regards to our itinerary. We were given an itinerary by email, outlining the cruise, however, we became very confused when events did not coincide with our itinerary. Some of the ship events were not even listed and on two days we had early starts that we had no idea beforehand. We eventually were given the itinerary by our second guide but for two days we were totally lost. Secondly, we had agreed to make the final payment by credit card. The company agreed in previous emails that this was not a problem. We were given an email address that directed us to a payment site that the company uses. However, this caused us nothing but grief. Maybe because we deal with Canadian banks but my bank and other Canadians that were on the trip also had difficulties with this payment process. Eventually, my credit card would not process the charge and deemed it as suspicious and fraudulent and my credit card was frozen. I had to spend 40 minutes on the phone back to Canada to release my card. Probably a very large cell phone bill on my return. The company needs to get their own billing credit card machine.Thirdly, the bus that took us to Abu Simbel was not at all comfortable; it was a six hour trip with no leg room and the air conditioner seemed to be lacking cool air. Lastly, the tour company MUST suspend the horse carriage ride on the day in Edfu. The horses are malnourished (we could see ribs on many of the horses) and the drivers are abusive (whipping the horses). The handlers make their horses go very fast, as they want to drop off the tourists and race back to pick up other boat passengers. On our tour, another horse handler almost lost control of his carriage and the results could have been disastrous! Overall, the trip was good but trying to provide constructive criticism to improve the overall experience.

Very trustworthy and organized company We did book a tour with Egypt tour plus to Egypt and Jordan unfortunately, our Jordan trip was cancelled due to the political situation.Egypt tour plus was very professional and very honest. They refund us the Jordan part.The Egypt part was really good and well organized. The guides were very professional and has a lot of Knowledge. Egypt feels very safe, and we never did encounter any problems whatsoever.Don't hesitate to visit this beautiful country with so much history. We will certainly use them again for another trip somewhere else.

It’s the best Egypt Tours Plus is the best tour company there is. It is very organized, every detail is taken cared of from the time of arrival to departure. They even do the check-ins at the hotels as well as at the airport. Nasr Maher, the tour supervisor, is very friendly, competent, works hard even if it’s past midnight just to make sure everything is arranged properly. He also helps facilitate optional excursions. The other staff, tour guides, drivers are also very friendly, helpful, respectful. I will be using the services of Egypt Tours Plus in my travels from now on! Happy travels!!!

Egypt and Jordania Everything was great, the guides and the people from the Company, Yehia Juan El Gizawy, Wael Bayoumi, Rami Adel and Hazem El-Sawy. A special mention to Fatma Tarek! Egypt tours Getting to know Egypt has always been my dream, but I couldn’t bring myself to travel alone to such a faraway country. I discovered Egypt Tours and immediately got excited. Donia was always there to help me find the best travel options. Finally, the day I arrived in Egypt, hazem was waiting for me at the Airport, One of the representatives was very kind and helped me at all times. I didn’t have to do anything. Really, first class service. I chose the tour in Spanish because it’s my first language. They speak perfect Spanish. Wow. I’m not going to say much, just that it was the best trip of my life. Adventure in Egypt It was an amazing adventure super comfortable and great :) we had the tour in Spanish so all was amazing for us I went with my mom. The tour was super well organized and the tour guide Ibrahim el Sherbiny share with us all the hidden gems of the city and also give us amazing options for dinner and tips

Egypt/Jordan--Do It Now This is not our first rodeo when it comes to travel. My wife and I are both north of 75 years old, but generally, we're in good health, and we have traveled the world for many years. That stated, we know that this situation could change at any time, and Egypt: pyramids, camels, Sphinx, etc., has been on our short bucket list along with Petra, for a long time. We looked at the TripAdvisor reviews before selecting the tour company with whom we would book. Egypt Tours Plus ranked high--and deservedly so. First, about Egypt Tours Plus--they work with several other major agencies to book the tour you want. We have nothing but praise for the various tour guides, drivers, tours, hotels, and agencies with which they needed to coordinate. This included being met at several airports, handling of visas for two different countries, and even hand-carrying our luggage from place to place. I can mention Sahara and Memphis Tours as organizations with which Egypt Tours Plus works--all very nicely done. A special shout-out to the Riad Hotel in Cairo, which received TripAdvisor's "Best of the Best" award for 2024. It is a unique, amazing experience all by itself.Now, the negative. Egypt has income from many sources--the Suez Canal, oil & gas, tourism--probably lead the way. With the income the country is receiving, it remains disorganized, with obvious poverty, and an extreme lack of sensitiveness to people with any kind of mobility issue, including just plain old age! You will never find anywhere else what you will see and learn of the Old Kingdom, the Middle Kingdom, and the New Kingdom. The wonders are mighty and worth the trip. (The same can be said of Petra, which is much more than the treasury building.) Jordan/Petra is much cleaner, much better organized, but still is not ADA friendly. Bottom line: If you're going to do this trip, do it while you are in decent shape and have good mobility. It does NOT get easier with time!

A Queen’s Visit to the land of Queens My trip to Egypt and with this tour group was truly life- changing, so stay tuned for my thorough review. My mother and I traveled to Egypt for my 38th Queen-themed birthday. It was both of our first times in the country and the continent, and I opted to go with a tour to coordinate the details of the experience. I am an avid solo traveler and as such am used to doing trips myself, so this was a new experience all around. I was a little nervous before the tour, as I wasn’t sure what my part was in coordinating the details, but the anxiety left me as soon as I landed. Nasr, our tour guide manager, patiently awaited our 2 am arrival and was immensely communicative and serviceable as soon as he met us. We’d opted to have the Egyptian visa as part of the tour, and Nasr expertly navigated our entrance and gathered our belongings.Our checkin process was seamless and we even got a later start date on the pyramids to accommodate our late arrival. Our hotel was situated in old Cairo, where we got to experience the livelihood of the night life and walk through dozens of bazaars. As an Egyptologist, Nasr continued to excel in our pyramids tour, and we learned so much of this beautiful and foreign country to us. Our photoshoot was fantastic.From there, we traveled to Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada, and through most legs of the trip (with few exceptions) we had guides that led us, and as two solo women, we felt extraordinarily safe. Our travels through the temples, albeit hot, were fascinating. Our next Egyptologist Sherif was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly passionate about his work. I loved his enthusiasm. The Nile River cruise + Nubian Village tours were exquisite and relaxing experiences. Learning about the intersection of history and cultures was enlightening, as was learning how to haggle with the persistent but always respectful street vendors. My favorite lodging, guide, and experience was in old Cairo, but the entire trip was a Queen awakening. Witnessing Queen Hatshepsut’s temples and hearing her history was incredible for someone like me, who teaches women of color how to be in their Queen energy and dare to create the lives they truly want. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. I will have to make my return to this land of magic. Thank you.

Review of Egypt/Jordan Tour Private Tour with Family of 3 including an 11 year old. This was an excellent service by EgyptToursPlus and their partners in Egypt and Jordan.1. Organization - Aya was able to accommodate our schedule to fit in all our requested events in our desired time frame.2. Safety - As soon as we arrived at the airport we were greeted by Amazing Abdul who provided concierge service and made sure we felt safe and settled. Haney our driver was cautious and careful - Cairo traffic is on another level. On our departure date Abdul took us to the airport at 5 am and made sure that we got through the checkpoint without problems. 3. Excursions - Hosam our Egyptologist was extremely knowledgable and his passion for his country and its history is remarkable. We climbed pyramids in Giza, explored an in situ sarcophagus in the pyramid of Teti in Saqqara, took a Boat ride on the River Nile, roamed around the Egyptian Museum marveling at preserved mummies and King Tut's burial finery.4. Food - Abdul and Hosam arranged for us to eat in delicious venues - from Cairo Tower to Nile Cruise Dinner to Mom and Pop restaurants - the food was delicious and we were never short of bottled water.5. In Jordan we floated in the Dead Sea, drove up to Mt Nebo and viewed Moses's Promise Land, had the best seasoned rice ever (per our 11 year old) in a village in Madaba - bought beautiful mosaics in the same village, and gazed in wonder at the Treasury in Petra. We definitely recommend Egypt Tours Plus for a Safe and Enjoyable Trip. We hope to return one day for Luxor and Alexandria.
