Hotel o kiepskim standardzie pokoi, ale restauracja dobra. Duży plus odległość od lotniska. Z Kampali dużo dalej i może być problem z dojazdem przez korki na drodze.

Good location in a quiet road, 10 minutes away from the Airport. With great food and tranquil setting full of local wildlife.

I stayed at Via Via Entebbe twice, for one night on two separate occasions, in early January 2025. While I appreciate the atmosphere and environment focused approach this hotel is trying to pursue, I must say, overall, I was left broadly unimpressed. Positives 1. The surroundings are very picturesque, where the restaurant/bar is located is particularly beautiful 2. They offer free luggage storage and water refills which is quite useful 3. Taxis, tours and late check-out can be arranged (for an additional fee) 4. The shop at reception has some interesting items for sale 5. All the staff are quite friendly and positive people which is nice to see Negatives 1. The WiFi system is quite frankly abysmal, they make you put in a one-time code every time you want to connect to the internet but there seems to be some kind of data usage or time limit as its impossible to stay connected to the WiFi for very long. This means every time you disconnect you have to go to reception to get another one time code, this is particularly annoying especially if it’s late at night and you are already in bed. I never got more than about an hour on the WiFi before it kicked me off. I have never seen a system this bad in any hotel in my life. 2. I found the food quality and service to be really lacking. While the breakfasts were tasty the dinners I ate at Via Via were not good and took forever to come. For example on my first night I was left waiting for over 90 minutes for a Caesar salad that had two tiny bits of chicken in it and was full of courgette slices. This is really not acceptable although I don’t blame the staff, it was clear that they were extremely busy, the management should make sure they have enough staff to provide good quality food in a timely manner which is just a basic requirement of a restaurant. I also had to go up to the bar to ask for my banana smoothie an hour after I had ordered it, the bartender gave it to me right away and apologised as he had made it but nobody was free to bring it to my table, this meant it had become very viscous by the time I drank it due to the yoghurt contained within it settling in the time it was just sitting behind the bar. 3. While the staff are very friendly they are always pushing you to pay with cash even if you ask to settle the bill with card, this is rather annoying. I don’t want to have a debate about how I pay my bill, if I want to settle it by card then that should be accepted at the first time of asking, rather than having to go back and forth about it. 4. The windows in the garden rooms don’t have any netting, this means if you are here in the daytime you can’t open your curtains without other guests being able to see right into your room, hence it is impossible to get both daylight and privacy. I am really surprised such an obvious flaw has been overlooked. Overall I had high hopes for this hotel but unfortunately it fell short on a number of metrics as my breakdown above highlights. Most of these feel like quite simple fixes which would make the experience of staying here significantly better!

We really like this restaurant for a relaxed lunch during the weekend. The service is quite long though. Yoga classes are really good too!

This place is truly a gem and an incredible experience from the moment we were picked up from the airport. We stayed for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. We (family of four) slept in one of the glamping tents which were magical. The service is 10/10 and we absolutely LOVED the restaurant and bar (especially the incredible views). They were flexible and very helpful when our incoming flight was delayed and we had to move our booking to the next day. A beautiful way to start our visit in Uganda. Can’t wait to return on our way home. What a special place Via Via is.

This place has character and makes you feel welcome. Staff is incredible, polite and smiling. The rooms could be in better condition, and not only be very clean , which they are, but also look very clean by some optimised updated design. The humidity is not helping, some electricity problems. The bar and common areas have great design make you feel super welcome and the food Is great. The staff again fantastic. (Surroungding areas if you reach at night could be tricky) otherwise Ugandas Best Internet! Thank you

We had the most incredible safari experience, all thanks to the amazing team at ViaVia Adventures. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Linda, who took care of every detail of our journey, is absolutely wonderful. Her communication was flawless, and she made sure every part of our adventure exceeded our expectations. The lodges were stunning, the activities were exciting, and the wildlife tracking was beyond our imagination. Every day was filled with new discoveries and unforgettable moments, all thanks to the careful planning of ViaVia Adventures. Our guide/ driver, Daniel, truly made the experience exceptional. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable and well-prepared but also had such enthusiasm and passion for the safari that it made each moment even more special. He was always attentive to our needs, and his love for nature (birds ;)) was infectious. We can’t thank Linda and Daniel enough for giving us the most wonderful safari experience. If you’re looking for a trip that’s thoughtfully organized, filled with adventure, and led by an amazing guide, look no further! This experience will stay with us forever.
