I have rented from enterprise over 20 times, and this location 2+. And every time paid with the exact same card. A visa chase debit card. My wife goes to pick up a rental since our car is in the shop and they truly give her the run around for over an hour. Giving her a hard time about the you click we pick program which is very explicit on how it works and attempted to up charge her, then when it came time to pay she presented the same card as always, and they make her wait, 20 more minutes. proceed to say they cant except it, even when they saw they excepted it a week a go… truly the oposite of of a positive experience. Truly left my wife crying and seemed to be taking advantage of her because when I call and handle it, it’s taken care of every time, and over 15 times this year. If you are thinking of going here and they think they can take advantage of you they will. Please be aware.

Good customer service. Able to get me in and out pretty quick, dispute being busy and constantly receiving phone calls. Our vehicle was a hybrid Toyota Sienna with a fuel level of 7/8 full. We topped it off twice on a four day trip to Ohio. But we probably could have completed the trip on one tank of gas. The experience has us considering purchasing a hybrid for our family. Received four stars because I would have appreciated some explanation of the vehicle and its features when I picked up the vehicle. Also charged a refueling charge because the fuel level was one gallon off from where it started. Not really a big deal, but waiving the fee, is 5-star customer service in my opinion. I doubt they actually replaced 1 gallon of fuel, or topped off the fuel tank because it was already 7/8 full. Still, I recommend this company. And will be a return customer.

RED FLAGS, RED FLAGS all over the place. The moment I walked into the dirty and disorganized office one rep couldn't find the keys to a vehicle for one customer and I heard the other rep at the front desk tell a different customer it would be okay to bring the car back empty on gas because they are providing a car with hardly any gas. Nothing like getting into a rental car and immediately having to locate a gas station. I reserved a a premium car like an Audi or BMW because they were running a special. You could reserve this type of car for the same price as a Nissan Maxima. The rep took me to my vehicle and asked if a Hyundai Elantra would be okay. I told her no and I'd rather have the vehicle I reserved. She asked if I wanted a SUV instead. I told her I'm paying a $1000 to rent a vehicle. I want the one I reserved. Finally, she admitted they were expecting two Audi's to come back last night and they didn't. Based off all the red flags presented to me earlier I sincerely doubted her story. I went back on the enterprise website for the Carmel location to see if I could reserve an Audi on the same day I already knew they didn't have any inventory. I wasn't surprised in the least that the Carmel location was still showing Audi's ready to rent. Clearly this is deceptive marketing practices. They just want to get you in their cheap office and put you in whatever they have available. Not to state the obvious but what is the point of having a reservation when the rental agency knowingly knows they don't have the cars. It was already 11am when I showed up. It would have been nice to get a courteous call, text, or email that my car wasn't available instead of trying to push me into an Elantra. Chris M save your auto generated canned response. Clearly you guys aren't addressing the issue because there are negative reviews that had the same experience from a few weeks and months ago.

I called yesterday inquiring about a Chevrolet Malibu. I was told that they had 2 and they were getting an oil change and will be ready in the next couple of hours. My boyfriend called to make sure it was ready because we had to get on the road. They tell him that it was not ready and they weren’t sure when it would be. I called them back because at that point they inconvenienced us. The lady I spoke to begins telling me that they can’t guarantee a car but I was told something different 2 hours before. Which means the staff is not on the same page. I was told to make a reservation at 5:30 and it will be here. We waited over 2 hours for the car and could’ve worked with another company for a rental but we chose them. We arrived after waiting over 4 hours just for the car not to be there. The lady tried to offer him a suv and told him he was getting the same rate as the malibu but it was $100+ more than the Malibu so she LIED! We was rushed due to them closing and them explaining they had to do their daily duties with their families as if they didn’t inconvenience us going to see our family. We did not make it to our event because of their uncaring behavior. They never called and told us anything when our number was under the reservation. Very unprofessional I do not recommend this location.

My family planned a trip to Santa Claus Indiana. With multiple car seats/ boosters we decided to rent a van. I almost always use Enterprise. Friendly service easy no hassle rental and returns affordable reliable transportation why I go with them. I arrive to pick up our Van for the weekend to be told they don't have a van for me!? A returning vehicle was damaged and there were no vans. Of course the staff at Enterprise offered an upgrade no additional charge. The upgrade had the space for all my Littles to ride together making a family road trip all that more fun. Adam at Michigan rd. Enterprise was exceptional he made sure we had exactly what we needed!

Unfortunately they make promises and then don't deliver. When questioned they go with old reliable" I don't know why someone would tell you that". Went into the branch to verify I could get a type of vehicle. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. I called the day before to verify and they said we don't ever have those kinds of vehicles. I explained the predicament of needing a certain type of vehicle, the only help even offered was to tell me to call another branch and that was from Caylin M. (branch manager?) . Talk about zero customer service, which was bad enough she didn't even seem to care that her employee lied. She did say she was probably just being optimistic. That sure is helpful when you need a vehicle. At any rate if you have any other option use it.

Very surprised how this place has 4.2 stars, not just from how many people have had there reservations cancelled 24 hours before pickup but from the amount of complaints of this place not giving back deposits and how many times they keep it or create a scenario to keep it, is mind blowing . Do employees get compensated from damage claims? Because what’s stopping them from damaging the vehicle after drop off ? Definitely questionable due to the fact that I was called about damages but when I arrive not even 30mins to an hour after, the vehicle is no longer there !!? But it was there for 4 full hours before you reached out to me ? I’ve never heard of an insurance company denying a claim and telling there client not to pay due to a false / suspicious claim .

One of the most corrupt enterprises. Claimed there was hail damage on a vehicle when there was no hail or storms in the area . Pictures were taken at 6 am when it was very dark and when we arrived at 11:30 AM after receiving an email at 10:30 AM (4 hours after pictures were taken) to see these damages, the vehicle was not there. I still followed through and tried to begin this “claim” but my insurance denied it because there has been no hail reported in the area while I had the vehicle. I was asked by my insurance if I was able to see the damages and had to let them know the vehicle was taken elsewhere before I arrived not even an hour after I was made aware . My thing is, how were pictures taken at 6 AM where you can barely see any damages ? And also why were we sent an email at 10:30 AM(4 1/2 hours after pictures were taken ? And we were rudely contacted by Jacob, stating we needed to be there to file a claim by noon or else we would have to pay out of pocket for all damages .(This was at 10:30 AM) And we arrive at the location and the vehicle isn’t even there for us to see these damages but there are low quality pictures taken at 6:30 AM???? Ever since, I’ve been receiving emails about this claim and I cannot move forward due to my insurance saying there is no proof/ lack of evidence that this happened under our care . This location found any easy way to create a scheme and is trying to steal money from loyal customers. I’m sure this has happened many times with other people and they are manipulated into believing it is there fault . Save yourself some time and do not come here . There are many other places that are cheaper with better customer service and will not make false claims to steal your money . Again when speaking to Jacob I attempted to give other options to the damages, such as rocks from the highway etc and he was adamant that it was hail. My insurance and I did research and the claim is invalid and I am still receiving emails saying I need to recover damages . I hope once this goes to collections and gets disputed this company can make this right, although I will never do business with enterprise again and will make sure to post this on all social media Platforms to 400k+ viewers as long as I’m receiving emails about this false claim. I have not paid out of pocket because I was told by my insurance NOT TO .

Most outstanding team and services in car rental that I've ever experienced. They worked well with my insurance company and always tried to accommodate with the right vehicle that I needed over the past several weeks. And I used 3. If you ask, they are ready to help you hook up the hands free feature with your phone, skip the contacts downloading to the vehicle, directions on how to handle/lay down/ take out the back seats in mini vans. I appreciated being able to select my vehicle as well from choices on hand. Vehicles were always clean. Would recommend.

Super disappointed with the Chrysler mini van rental for spring break. On Monday of break, contacted Noah at the Carmel location and explained to him: The brakes are not good. When you are going down an incline and use the brakes, the van shakes violently and sounds like a jake brake of a semi. There was a noise under the dash that kept popping the entire week as if something was trying to turn on and off repeatedly. The passenger front side window had a significant air leak. When I called the Carmel location, they provided me with the Enterprise Roadside Assistance number. I immediately called them and spoke with Natalie. I explained to her that the van should not be driven due to the brake issue. They offered to swap the van with a pick up truck (uh, what? we have 6 people) and since that didn't work out they "escalated" my case to find a replacement vehicle. They never called back or texted after that. No replacement vehicle. Drove the van with nearly 42,000 miles back to Indiana from Florida. On Sunday, we returned the vehicle and the 2 men at the counter asked how it was. I told them it was a POS and the concerns we had about the van, including no action from Enterprise Roadside Assistance. What did they offer to do? Nothing, as expected. Not a good experience overall and poor customer service from the Carmel location and the national Roadside Assistance team.

I was very satisfied with my experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The CSR went over the features of the new rental car; he was very thorough. I brought the car back a day early, and within a couple of days, I received a credit on my bank statement, including my deposit. The location of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car was convenient and within walking distance of the repair shop where I was having my car serviced.
