I had been struggling since 2020 to get a transfer from one of my previous employers' PF accounts to my current employer's PF account. I had raised the transfer request six times since 2020 in the EPFO portal. I had submitted Annexure K and some documents from my previous employer, and an ECR revision as well to the PF office, Bandra as per their request through a grievance. Every time the answer was that the concerned department will take care. I had escalated over email to multiple EPFO officers using the contact details in the portal. Every time it was diverted to some team with no luck.

Being based out of Bangalore, and with multiple claim rejections from the Bandra PF Office in Mumbai, I was left wondering what needed to be done to get this sorted as I was not in a position to go there and follow up in person. It was during this time that I came to know about the EPF Buddy team, who help in resolving PF-related issues.

My initial conversation was with Nikhil, who understood the issue well and assured me that it could be resolved. Dipkesh was assigned from their team to handle my case.

I got a reference for EPF Buddy from a friend, and I must say that their support in resolving my PF related issues has been excellent.

Initially, my request was simply to process my PF withdrawal. However, during the process, we encountered multiple complications, such as my pension not being considered in my current organization and a lack of clarity regarding the pension account number in one of my previous organizations. These are just 2 of the 5 major issues with my PF account. These issues caused a significant delay of almost two years in my first PF withdrawal.

A very professional team indeed. Nikhil was my primary point of contact. Post this I have worked with Dipkesh Singh almost exclusively. He is responsive, dilligent and knowledgeable. EPF buddy (and in my case, Dipkesh) takes over all the drudgery of dealing with processes and systems. The customer only ever has to follow up with their ex-employers. Everything else is handled by EPF buddy.
