Fast, efficient service. Adam carried out a great job at my place. The whole process was made simple. From quote to completion, his service was excellent.

Short story: Adam left halfway through a job, leaving a hole in a wall, an unwanted awning, a huge mess and half my deposit. Long story: We hired Adam to do 5 jobs around the house. All were "We can do this" jobs. We had to remove a plaster wall and wooden struts to make way for an Air-conditioning repair and then make the wall good again. We also asked him to create an awning in the style of the house for one of our doors. The first day he cut a huge hole in the wall for the repairs. Then he assembled a store-bought plastic awning that doesn't fit the houses style at all. After realising that it wouldn't fit because we have a security camera he called me. I told him we couldn't use the awning and he said he couldn't return it because he had already cut it. We never agreed to that awning and he didn't measure it properly to see if it fit. Two days later he returned and put most of the plaster wall back in place with tape and a rough smear of plaster. He said it would take 24hrs to dry. The next day I contacted him to find out what time he was arriving and he said he wasn't interested in the job anymore and that it wasn't his problem. He did return 1/2 of our deposit, but left the bedroom with a hole in the wall, the room covered in tarpaulins, a bucket of gyprock, tools and rubbish and a job not finished. I would not hire this man again

Excellent Quality work

We are so glad that we found Adam as our experience with other Chippys have been bad. Many of them, confirmed the appointment but never turned up, some gave horrendous quotes which looked like that they never wanted to work etc. Adam is personable, easy to talk to and was professional throughout. He patiently listened to what we want, gave us suggestions on what will work and won’t and finally finished the job on time. The best part was we didn’t have to run after him to finish the job and that is the biggest issue with most tradies these days. His craftsmanship was exemplary! Finally, his price won’t be the cheapest and you will get many quotes better than his but remember you get what you pay for. If you want great quality and hassle free work then opt for Adam but if you want to best price look elsewhere. Well done Adam and thank you :)

Exact Carpentry were very professional and punctual. Adam gave great advice and was able to remove my old wardrobe and a beam and re-plaster and paint and add a structure frame and install a door and handles. A very experienced carpenter where no job was too difficult. Highly recomment him and we will certainly use him again.
