Excellent Expedition Logistics
Expedition Himalaya is the company my regular US-based expedition operator has been working with for years. Over the last 10 years, Nabin and his team have also organized several mountaineering expeditions for me personally, including ones to Ganchenpo, Cholatse and Pumori. I have been happy with his and his team's work every time.
I have found Expedition Himalaya to be professional and well-connected in the industry. They have excellent staff across the board, and can make things (like sending helicopters, arranging PCR tests or booking accommodation) happen quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price.
I highly recommend Expedition Himalaya as a reliable expedition outfitter and expedition logistics partner in Nepal, and look forward to working with them in the future.

Great expedition without worries!
The company helped us a lot in the organisation of the trip and helped us with getting into Nepal during the Covid-19 periode. It was easy getting into contact and the information they gave was very useful. The trip itself was great! From pickup from the airport, hotel, flight to Lukla, expedition, flight back, help with PCR test and transfer back to the airport was arranged perfectly!
Thanks for a great experience of the Himalayan

Expedition Himalaya as a reliable partner for your mountain trips and expeditions in Nepal.
We have been working with Expedition Himalaya for 7 years. During this time, their team of professionals has organized for us and our company trips and expeditions of various levels of difficulty: from light trekking to climbing the Himalayan peaks.
Special thanks to Nabin, who is always very client-oriented and attentive. On our last trip in May 2021, he accomplished a feat and in a few hours took us almost from the mountain pass, where we were without mobile connection, to the airport, when all international flights were canceled due to sudden lockdown and thousands of tourists were stuck in the mountains before they could fly away.
I highly recommend Expedition Himalaya as a reliable partner for mountain travel in Nepal.

Expedition Himalaya excels across the board
Expedition Himalaya exceeds all expectations. Amazing people, superb logistical planning, and excellent quality. Expedition Himalaya excels at expediting resources when needed to make it happen. EH arranged helicopter’s and much more when extreme limited availability.
Expedition Himalaya operates in a safe and effective manner.
Climb team comes with many years of knowledge and experience. Younger team members are being mentored properly. Chefs and Cooks were top quality and shocking what they can make at high altitudes.
I highly recommend Expedition Himalaya for your Nepal, China and more expeditions.

Very professional and organized
I have nothing but good things to say about Expedition Himalaya. They are a professional and well-run organization. We worked with Expedition Himalaya for the 2021 Everest season. From the onset, they provided reliable and timely information with regards to entering the country and initiating our trek into basecamp. Once on the mountain, the basecamp was fantastic. Very organized, amazing food and very nice tents. Dawa, Nabin, Sarki and the rest of the crew were very receptive to any requests, they were always thinking ahead and they organized a very successful trip. I would 100% work with them the next time I go back to Nepal, be it for climbing or treking. They are the best of the best.

Everest expedition 2021
I climbed Everest with Expedition Himalaya. Despite us not being able to make it to the top due to Covid, It's been an amazing experience, great Sherpas, very dedicated, friendly and professional, great chef and kitchen stuff, amazing food, and very well connected agent back in Kathmandu that helped us a lot with the tough times during Covid lockdown. This certainly has been an experience of a lifetime.

Everest 2021 expedition
The services of Expedition Himalaya is exceptional. They are professional, extremely efficient, give attention to detail and go out of their way to ensure every aspect of your expedition is covered. No task is too big or too small for Nabin (managing everything in Kathmandu) and Dawa (managing everything in basecamp). The Sherpa team has an outstanding summit resume, they are very professional, highly technically skilled, super human strong, friendly, patient and treat everyone with the utmost respect. Sarki, the basecamp cook, and his cook team, provides world class meals from their cook tent domain. I can highly recommend Nabin, Dawa and their amazing team!!

Top Notch!
We had a lot of choices when it came to selecting an outfitter for our National Geographic-sponsored 2019 expedition to the north side of Mount Everest, and after careful consideration we settled on using Expedition Himalaya. We based the decision in large part on several strong recommendations we received from friends who have worked with them in the past. And I am happy to report that EH did a fabulous job for us, and I can strongly recommend them to anyone looking to hire an outfitter for anything from a simple trek to a full blown Everest expedition. Thanks to the great work done by Navin, Dawa and all of our camp staff and climbing sheras, led by Lhakpa Tenje, our team was able to summit on May 30, 2019. (You can learn more about our trip through the two documentary films we produced - Lost on Everest [available on Disney+] and The Ghosts Above [available on Vimeo). As a testament to how strongly I believe in and trust Expedition Himalaya, I am planning to hire them again to lead a trek to Everest south side base camp for my family.

Everest basecamp trek
Was a great trek to Everest Basecamp.
Flew from Dallas Texas to Kathmandu. Took 36 hours to make the flight. Next time I will do layovers along the flights.
Flew from Kathmandu to Lukla where we started hike. Around 35 miles of hiking from Lukla to Everest Basecamp. Overnight accommodations were from excellent to poor. Tea rooms for dining were always good. We had good weather the entire trek so didn’t need our gear in day packs. Sherpas carried all our heavy gear bags to each overnight stops. It made the hike more enjoyable and especially at those high altitudes to not have to carry the extra weight. Highly recommended to get diamox for the altitude. There is a lot of up and down hiking along the valleys. So it can be difficult if you’re not in shape. On average around 7 miles a day. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Towering ice covered mountains. Several cable bridges to cross the river along the way. We opted to make arrangements to take a returning helicopter back to Lukla from a lower stop from Everest Basecamp.
The Sherpas at Everest Basecamp took real good care of us. Good food and tea.
When we got back to Kathmandu, we did tours and restaurants before returning home. I would do this trip again.
I went in March 2017 and not the date selection listed.

Expedition Himalaya is the best of the best for your expedition or trekking needs! I have used Expedition Himalaya many times! They have helped me with everything from Everest to climbing 6,000meter peaks and trekking. Their base camp staff has some of the best cooks in the Khumbu and the Sherpa team is famous for their professionalism and strength. I'm proud to call everyone at Expedition Himalaya my friends and college .

Custom everest base camp trip
I had a wonderful experience with this company. They allowed me to customize my trip to base camp in a shorter timer frame. My porter, guide and the trip co-ordinator were all very attentive and helpful.

Expedition Himalaya has arranged many high-altitude expeditions for us and they truly are the BEST in the business! Their attention to detail and personal safety is what has made us feel extremely comfortable over the years on each of our climbs with them. Trek to Kala Patthar
Last month, my adult daughter and I completed a private trek with Expedition Himalaya from Lukla to Kala Patthar. It was a magical, amazing experience! Our guide Karma was HIGHLY accomplished and looked after us, in every detail, extremely well. He really took care to ensure our safety and good health. It became immediately apparent that we were in the best of hands. Nabin, the co-owner of Expedition Himalaya, could not have been more friendly and accommodating. His personal touch, pre and post trek in Kathmandu, was wonderful. I highly recommend this company. We'll be returning to them for more!

Three Passes Trek, Everest Region, Nepal
My husband, brother and I were keen to do the 3 Passes Trek in the Everest Region of Nepal, and Expedition Himalaya was recommended to us. We were in regular contact with them for a few months before our trek, and they were quick at replying, and organised everything very well! We already knew what itinerary we were interested in, and Expedition Himalaya organised everything for us - including pick up and transfer at Kathmandu Airport, which was very nice after a long flight. They also arranged all the accommodation for the trek, the flights (with helicopter, as we did not want to have to travel by road to Ramechhap is possible), as well as the porter. Our porter Cheppa was great - friendly and always willing to give advice on how many hours we could expect to walk per day, or what time we should eat breakfast and leave. Expedition Himalaya were really helpful, and also flexible regarding changes to our schedule. Navin and the rest of the team at Expedition Himalaya were professional, efficient, and good value - we were very happy with the trek, and absolutely recommend Expedition Himalaya.

Kala Patthar Trek
I just trekked to Kala Patthar with Expedition Himalaya and it was fantastic. It was my first high altitude trek. Their guide Karma summited Everest 7 times, so he was very experienced and knowledgeable. He was also very careful about the acclimatization process, which was critical. Nabin, the Managing Director, was also very responsive to our needs.

Organized our "Three Passes" Trek
Our experience with Expedition Himalaya (EH) was excellent. On the advice of a previous client (a friend of ours), we contacted Navin at EH and asked if they could organize the logistics for the "Three Passes" (Kongma La, Cho La, Renjo La) trek. We already knew what itinerary we wanted but we were looking for assistance with permits, flights (helicopters; we didn't feel like dealing with going to Ramechhap for the fixed wing flight to Lukla), lining up a porter, and making reservations in advance at the lodges (we were trekking in Nov and, while not quite peak season, it was crowded and especially in places like Lobuche, we were really glad we had reservations). EH set us up with a wonderful guy, Chepa, who was ridiculously fast and just a pleasure to trek with (we'd all been up in the Khumbu numerous times and didn't need a guide). All the lodge bookings had been made as we'd been told, though I'd suggest doing some research in advance and telling EH if you have a particular lodge you want to stay in at each village (and what kind of room - standard, attached bath, etc). We didn't specify any particular lodges and, while the ones they selected for us were mostly good, in two cases they'd booked us into somewhat run-down lodges and there were definitely better options available (in Deboche, I'd recommend the Rivendell Lodge, and in Gokyo, either the Thanka Inn or the Himalayan Eco-Lodge). EH did a great job with arranging the helicopters and were suitably flexible with other aspects of the trip (for example, we ended up coming back to Kathmandu a day early and it was no dramas). Navin and the rest of the EH staff were professional, competent, charged very fair prices (we shopped around), and overall did a great job of arranging our trip. I can recommend them without any hesitation.

Lobuche Peak
Just returned from a climbing trip to Lobuche Peak (6119m). All of the group successfully summited thanks to our fantastic guides Nga Temba and Sonam. Expedition Himalaya provided a fantastic service in all aspects of our trip.
Special thanks to Nabin Trital, MD of Expedition Himalaya, I would highly recommend this company.

Everest Base Camp Trek
Traveled with Expedition Himalaya recently. They were amazing. We had very specific requirements and they were super easy to deal with. They helped us organize everything from airport transfers to a helicopter trip all the way from Lukla to Kathmandu at our treks end. Their advice on the best trekking route to Base Camp was invaluable.
We had amazing guides. Our head guide was Dhan - he has amazing experience and was able to share so many secrets along the way. He was always there with extra motivation when we hit hard times along the way. We also had an additional guide who was preparing for an Everest Expedition. The porters were fantastic as well - not one complaint about the weight!!
Dhan organized the lot - food, accommodation, sight seeing. Nothing was too hard and he really made the trip a once in a lifetime experience.

Well organized and fairly priced trip in Kathmandu, Tibet, and EBC
I just got back from a great adventure in Kathmandu, Tibet, and EBC. Usually I plan my trips in great detail, but this time I left it to Expedition Himalaya as they were recommended by a friend whose brother has used them frequently for trips including full Everest trips. My trip was also unusual (especially for Tibet and EBC) because I was traveling alone versus with a group. The trip went off well with only minor variations which given where I was in the world, I expected. The guides were great at all locations with one supporting many VIPs from the United States including Congresspeople, etc. You know you are secure and well educated by those types of guides. The hotels selected were above average for local standards and were inexpensive. I probably would have like to choose my hotels when there was a US brand available (to get frequent stay points!), but I felt safe and secure at each. Additionally, the food at each hotel was good and again above average for this part of the world. If I had to identify an area for improvement I'd say that I could packed more stuff onto my agenda. When I travel, I like doing everything I can possibly do from dawn to dusk. On some days the tours only lasted until 2pm or so. This is not a big problem as I knew the itinerary, but I could have done more. Finally, all the tour guides spoke good or excellent English so I felt at home at all times. All in all, these guys did a great job organizing my trip.
