There are two reasons for my rating (listed below), which I hope indicates the "above and beyond" service I received being represented by Christopher Brown in the negotiation of my prenuptial agreement. First reason: Mr.Brown took his role as my representation seriously. I felt like I had *really* had someone looking out for my best interests. He interpreted the agreement for me piecemeal, voicing his concerns over the language used and provided examples from his experience on how the language could be interpreted in the event of a divorce. Most importantly, he respected my decisions, only providing pushback where it was legitimately needed. Second reason: Mr.Brown showed more patience than I deserved. My personal style of working with a service provider of any type is passive– I tend to be patient, letting them do their work, and checking in only if necessary. I only wish I had provided that experience to Mr.Brown, but I ended up being a bit of a high-maintenance nag. Allow me to explain: My fiancé and I needed to get the agreement finalized and signed by a particular date to meet our personal goals, so my fiancé called his lawyer daily to see what progress had been made, and was told on multiple occasions that his lawyer was waiting on something from Mr.Brown. On each occasion, my fiancé urged me to reach out to Mr.Brown to keep the ball rolling, sometimes asking me to call multiple times in a day. Each time I spoke to Mr.Brown, he proved the claims made by my fiancé's lawyer were false. Despite the frequency of my communications, he showed professionalism in his patience and understanding. In the future, when I need representation, I will reach out to Christopher Brown again, in hopes that he would accept me as a client.

I originally found Fears through LegalZoom (LZ) but have since continued my working relationship with them outside of LZ. I met Chris Brown during one of my LZ calls and knew I liked his style from the beginning. I have since started using Fears outside of LZ and continue to work with Chris. He's extremely knowledgeable, goes above and beyond, and is a down to earth guy. I plan on continuing to use them in all business capacities and will have Chris work on my estate planning in the near future. 10/10 recommend.
