OH MY GOD!! Don’t let the looks deceive you, yes, it’s small and no frills but it’s one of THE BEST Filipino foods I’ve ever had and I’m from Jersey City!! Food’s fresh and feels home made. Food is made to order - minimal wait time and definitely worth it!! TWO THUMBS WAAY UP!!
BTW: You can order A WHOLE LECHON here for catering (Roasted Pig)!!
It’s so rare to find a Filipino restaurant around our area but I’m so glad we found this place. We came in and tried a variety of menu items including the crispy lechon pork belly, the kare kare oxtail stew, the pancit noodles, and lumpia spring rolls and everything was so good! The staff were so friendly and accommodating even though we didn’t make it in until the last 45 minutes or so of service and ordered a large meal. We also purchased some of the snacks from their little store area inside the restaurant. Can’t wait to return!
I'm so happy that we stopped by for dinner. They have many Filipino options to choose to dine in or take out. They do have limited seating so be prepared to take your food to go if necessary but do not let that stop you from eating here. The staff of extremely friendly and helpful, if you have any questions just ask. They also have many Filipino food and drink items to sell from their shelves. You must stop by and have some delicious food.
What an amazing find in Bloomfield! It's incredible to have such a diverse and authentic Filipino restaurant right here in town. The food was absolutely delicious from the grilled chicken skewers to the pancit and the ube shake, everything was flavorful and fresh. The service was so warm and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Loved it, and can't wait to come back!
Love this place. Staff and customers while I was there were incredibly welcoming. I ended up trading contact info with a Tito to be invited to future gatherings they have and had another Ate try inviting me to crash a graduation for some Filipino food. While there are some things missing like the real calamansi and other sawsawan, they clearly put a lot of effort into hitting the authentic flavor profiles and its the closest I’ve found to being in the Philippines since I left. I can’t wait to get back here to try more dishes and see everyone again.
My only complaint is the lack of dinuguan on the menu, but that’s probably a bit harder to sell people on here. I also wish they had polvoron and hopia in the shop. If my complaints are all centered around wanting more, and wishing they weren’t over an hour away, that’s a great sign for me.
Edit: Came back for more. It’s still awesome along with the people. They had read my review and had polvoron stocked in the shop. Love this place and look forward to coming back again.
Truly fantastic food, hard-to-find products, and such a warm family environment. The sisig and lumpia are outstanding and generously portioned. The mac salad and halo halo are delightful on a warm day too. This lovely grocery store/restaurant/bakery is absolutely worth visiting in its own right, and especially so if you're visiting nearby Ganondagan.
What a great hidden gem!! It’s so refreshing to have a different option for food around here. Everything we ordered was delicious and packed with flavor, can’t wait to come back and try more! The pork adobo, lumpias, and mango smoothie👍🏼 The owner was very friendly and passionate about her food.

Thank you Olivia. Yes, my wife Suzette puts tons of time into trying to perfect every dish to make it as authentic as possible. Ditto on the Mango shake!
Great food. Good value for ethnic food. Really more of a takeout place. However, food is cooked fresh.

Thank you Charles. Yes, more of a takeout but we have the three tables. Just open Oct. 24 and hope to expand at some point to make it more of a dinning experience.
