Fishing with Jack was so much fun! He is so knowledgeable about fly fishing and the surrounding area! He taught us so much during our trip including techniques to perfect our casting and mending. It was a great learning experience and the perfect anniversary excursion for my husband and I. We can’t wait to work on our skills and come back to catch more fish with Jack! You will find no better guide! From experienced fishers to beginners and everyone in between Jack has so much knowledge to share! We will be back soon to fish with him again!

Jack set us up with two guides. 4 of us total, and we had a great time. There’s something about fishing with a group who truly knows the territory and navigates it with muscle memory. Respectful, easy communication, and we all got on some fish. Highly suggest Fishing Jack!

Had the pleasure of fishing with Jack on the San Juan Friday May 31st. We wade fished and had a great day of fishing. Jack is easy to be with and very knowledgeable about his craft. He also has a boat, but I like to wade we fished all over the place. The day went by pretty fast as we caught plenty of fish and the day couldn't have been better. I went on a wading trip and float trip with jack over two days with my dad. Let me tell you this guide is one of the best I’ve encountered. He made me feel confident and got me in to so many fish. He did the perfect amount of coaching when needed. This guide will work hard for you and make your time on the San Juan worth it. Just look at this brown trout.

Jack is as good as it gets. I've been out with him 3 times now. Each time, he busted his hump to get me into fish. I have no problem giving him the highest marks and recommending him to anyone who reads this or asks me.
