Initially, we were hesitant to engage with Fixwerks due to some bad reviews we'd seen. But we still try coz they gave us a good deal on our monthly maintenance, to our pleasant surprise, their service is really great and their staffs are really friendly! Our workplace encountered constant electrical and handyman problems. Since partnering with Fixwerks three months ago, these issues have been a thing of the past. Our work environment is now more efficient and comfortable. We're so glad we decided to work with Fixwerks!

In 2021, I engaged Fixwerks to replace my parents' house toilet bowls. I recently found out from my parents that the plumber or installer did not discard the old toilet bowls to level 1 rubbish chute. Do you know where the old toilet bowls has been discarded? It was inside the dry riser outside my parents" house! Unprofessional and lazy installer/plumber! Thankfully the town council cleaner found out & informed my parents and he also helped to discard it for free. I will never engage Fixwerks again.
Update: Nope, I am just a consumer and I don't have time or money to help other businesses. I'm upset that I only found out today after two years that they had replacement of toilet bowls and cistern pumps. I have your invoice in my email too. Nonetheless, the town council helped my elderly parents to discard it.

You might want to check your invoice properly as posting untrue information is violating google’s policies.
We have done some investigation and should you be affiliated to a competitor business, we hope that you adhere to the business principles in having a fair competition within the market.

We try to find out an estimated cost of topping up our wine chillers, instead I got the worst receptionist telling me she needs to have precise refrigerants for giving a quote. She simply refused to give a quote and tell you go somewhere else. It is amazing such person exists in service industry.

Additionally, understanding the technical details of the compressor will help us determine the scope of work required.
While we would like to provide an estimate, it is important for us to gather more information from our customers to ensure an accurate quotation. This is due to the fact that different types of gases necessitate varying degrees of work. For example, if your wine chiller uses R600A gas, which is flammable, we would need to bring it back to our workshop for any gas-related work. On the other hand, if R134A gas is used, we can perform the service on-site. Furthermore, the presence of a valve on the compressor will also impact the pricing.
We kindly request your understanding that not all repairs can be quoted verbally, as many of them require a technician to be on-site for inspection and assessment. If you are uncomfortable with this procedure, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly, as they will have precise specifications of the compressors and may be able to provide the estimates you require.

[Not trust-worthy and not recommended] incompetent technician+wrong model+wrong diagnosis
Called in for hood repair, technician did site survey and inform us replacement is needed, we waited for one wk+ for installation.
They’ve requested for 50% deposit. Technician is incompetent, new unit installation took much longer than expected and in the end it turns out the model is wrong ! customer service mention the model number has been mentioned in the quotation, (FYI they never told me it will be a different model vs our existing one) if we don’t want the unit, deposit will be forfeited. The wrong model is not safe for our house and we have asked to terminate their service. Such a waste of time and money.
Customer service was nice initially, when we highlight wrong model issue, they have really bad attitude as they want to make it clear that deposit is not refundable. I’m ok with forfeiting the deposit, but their attitude and process really need to improve.
To add on, later on we’ve engaged another company to repair our hood. It turns out replacement is not necessary and the motor is not faulty, the faulty part was wrongly diagnosed by Fixwerks’s technician.
Really absurd experience with this company.
Just be extra careful if you choose this company, as obviously you need to check everything they do before you commit, and they might give wrong diagnosis.

Thank you for your feedback. We have traced the records and would like to clarify that your claims are incorrect. Do allow us to explain again on this social media platform.
Firstly, it is not a wrong model purchased. Your existing hood is an old model and there is no exact replica of the cooker hood. Yours is a telescopic hood, of which we re-quoted a similar hood that is from the same brand as your existing hood which can fit your cabinet. It is the latest model. Telescopic hood requires a professional to assess the sizing in order to ensure that it can fit into the cabinet space. On top of that ,all our quotations do come with the brand and model number. We did mention to you over the call that the quotation with the model and brand for the hood replacement has been sent to your email, should you have further queries you could give us a call back.You had then call back the next day to inform that the deposit has been made. There was no further enquiry pertaining to the quotation. Hence we proceeded for the purchase.
Secondly, kindly note that we had installed the hood in good condition but you had rejected the product after installation. Kindly note that we are not the supplier and the good purchased cannot be resold to another customer after installation or use. It wouldn't be fair to other customer. Hence there is always a deposit collected upfront for us incase of such default payment from customers.
Lastly, it is a baseless and large accusation to say that the model we installed is unsafe. This is a hood that is compatible to your cabinet and definitely safe for use. We hope that you see this matter objectively before posting false statements online.
We understand the need to put customer's priority at first regardless, but not all request can be adhered to. As much as we would like to adhere to all our customers request, kindly note that we do have our limitations. Unit purchases cannot be refunded nor exchange as we have already purchased it from our supplier. It wouldn't be fair for us to absorb the cost because the customer decided to change their mind after the purchase.
We will be glad though to do a complimentary reinstallation for you should you decide to go ahead with this model again.
Once again, we will be giving you a call tomorrow to follow up again on your decision. We look forward to speaking to you tomorrow.

After fixing the washing machine includes 6 months warranty, the pipe inlet T-joint started water leaking. I have reached them on call 4-5 times, every time the response it we will check and get back to me but no one call back us. End up, no one called back for 3 days. I have to spend another $100 with other service company to fix the issue.

Thank you for your feedback. Firstly, let me sincerely apologise on not meeting your expectations. We have check on your records and noticed that you did call on the 30th and we did promptly revert asking for a photo so that we are able to get technical advise from our technician. On the 31st you had reverted with the photo and we were in the midst of waiting for the assigned technician to revert back on the status before giving you a call the next day for an update.
We do seek your understanding that the technicians have a full schedule and will only report back to office the end of day. Having that said, the team should have informed you on the time line that it will take up to 1 working day for us to revert back on technicals.
Taking this feedback, we will retrain our operations team to be mindful when such issues arise as we understand the urgent need for an answer. Prompt reply is necessary. Once again, thank you for your feedback and have a pleasant day ahead.

The engineer is brilliant. The company on the other hand is dreadful. They are happy taking a deposit. Once you do, it’s almost as if they are not invested in finishing the repairs. I had to chase several times to set up the final repair appointment. As a company, you charge extortionate prices - I would expect a much better customer service.
I will not use your services again which is a shame because your engineer is outstanding.

EXORBITANT PRICES!
I wished I had read these fairly accurate one-star reviews before engaging Fixwerks’ services.
While the service staff and engineer were friendly and responsive, they have to seriously relook at their pricing mechanism.
I was charged $190 for a simple circuitry fix to the heating themostat for the drying function of my washing machine. No parts replacement required, plus the entire process took about 20mins within my home. This was also not an urgent request. Was also told this payment may be used to offset a future part replacement but what are the odds?
It’s a pity as the engineer was good. But unfortunately prices are exorbitant.
If you still decide to engage them, do also be mentally prepared to fork out $50 for a basic check even though the machine does not need to be transported back to their workshop (this supposedly offsets the final repair cost but it doesn’t lessen the blow of the high cost in any way - I still had to pay $190).
Just putting this out here to warn other prospective customers. I, for one, will not be engaging their services again in future.

Thank you for your feedback. My apologies that you feel that the pricing is steep for the repair.
As we had mentioned over the phone, $50/- was only for the call out charge to check and diagnose what is the issue and the repair required to resolve your appliance issue. Depending on the issue of the appliance, not all repair will required workshop repair. In fact we strongly advocate repair onsite rather than transporting back to workshop to reduce lead time. On the spot repair is something we strongly advocate our engineers to do as it resolves customers' issue at first hand.
We thank you for your compliments and trust in our technician skill. It is something we take huge pride in as we are constantly training our technical team so that they are able to diagnose accurately and resolve customers' issues at hand swiftly.
We believe that only with proper training and right focus on improving the skill set of our technical team will reduce the time spent per appliance and the need to replace a part or bring back to the workshop. Hence our repair prices are not pegged to the time spent on an appliance as an inexperience engineer can take days or weeks to try to repair an appliance without success but a well trained engineer can diagnose accurately and have it repaired in a short amount of time.
Having that said, we do hear and understand the concerns of our pricing. We will feedback to the management on this as well.

Fixwerks took my kitchen cabinet door back to their office to source for a hinge. Later they informed me that they did not take my cabinet door. I am now missing a kitchen cabinet door. Was also charged $50 to assess the repair.
Dishonest and unreliable!

Thank you for your feedback. I have traced your records and this job was done in April. You had then called back much later in Mid November requesting for the door. We had check and found that we did not take your door for hinge sourcing. We do not bring back customer carpentry for sourcing, but our SOP is to only remove the required hinge to source for parts if necessary. Should there be any items taken from our customer, it will be listed in our service report and checked into our system. We will always return the item that we had took back from our customers when the case has been closed.
We have look thorough the database and confirmed that no door has been taken. At the same time, we had also ran through the technical team and checked with the assigned technician on the same.
We are a small company running an honest and legitimate business. It will be largely unfair to pass this baseless accusations on us.
You did mention that you do have camera footage to cite this claim but we have yet to hear from you. We would appreciate if you could kindly revise this untrue statement about us taking back your door should you not be able to provide evidence to cite this false claim.

Had excellent service from Fixwerk. When I emailed them, they replied within a day. They were able to send their engineer Royston on my preferred day. When Royston arrived, he took less than 1 hour to diagnose, explain the problem and repair my oven. For 5 years warranty, the cost came to $490. It's a bit ex but at least I'll have peace of mind for 5 years.
