FJ Engineering Design समीक्षा

So...  submitted my idea/plan and he wouldn't accept my job.  Maybe too *small?  Not sure.  He said he was over his head with jobs and at the same time I asked if I could wait in line for his business he still wouldn't take the job.  Stated retaining walls could be complex.  Good to know.  Yes. That's why I'm seeking to hire an engineer.   ***Engineer needed for a 4 foot retaining wall.

We hired FJ to help with our garage conversion for an ADU. Francisco did a great job from the initial site visit, delivering the calculations and design on time, and helping us with some unexpected foundation issues. Highly recommend!

Francisco was really thorough and answered all of our questions. He was clearly passionate about his work, and it showed! His office manager Vivian has been really helpful as well. We've only done the consultation so far, but we plan to move forward with the engineering design once we decide on the model we want. I'm so grateful that we found them!

During the pandemic I wanted to make sure I supported a local business, and I am so glad we chose FJ Engineering. They have surpassed all our expectations. From their very first inspection, they were thorough and professional. You can tell that FJ has a lot of experience and seems to really enjoy his job. He is proactive in asking the questions he needs the answers to and is very communicative about what he is looking for and what that means for your project. During his initial consultation, he is trying to solve the puzzle of how your house is supported. Once he had that sorted out, he then gave us all our options to accomplish what we had communicated were our goals. The verbal consultation was what we needed to know we were on the right path and from there we asked them to draft up the structural engineering plans we needed. Even though our project has been a complicated remodeling with the city asking for several rounds of revisions, FJ and his team have been diligent, accessible and so easy to work with. When there have been decisions that need to be made, his team has provided illustrations that made it very easy to know what was being asked of us. Finally, I just want to commend FJ and the team of professionals he has assembled. The quality of work is exceptional but it is his team's approachability, kindness and generosity that are central to their work ethic that make them a pleasure to work with. I'm very glad we went with FJ Engineering.

Francisco, Vivian and his entire crew of engineers are a wonderful resource for my busy interior design firm. They are thoughtful in their approach to structural design, working diligently and expertly to find solutions that work with the interior and architectural design and provide cost effective solutions and options. Francisco does an incredibly thorough site survey that includes pictures and mapping that allow us flexibility in determining pathways forward as we design the interior spaces. He is responsive via emails and his level of professionalism extends to the whole staff. He has been welcoming to me as a collaborator and I have enjoyed working with him over several projects. His work is high quality and it shows. Big or small, your project is in great hands with this small, boutique firm.

Francisco and team where very helpful even before we signed an agreement, he spent a lot of time and shared a lot of information.  Once we hired him to come out and check the damage then draw plans, to replace a damaged support beam, his team was prompt and friendly and he was very helpful guiding us through the repairs. I really appreciated getting an unbiased opinion since all the other construction companies all had ideas of the repair but none would give me the full picture, I 100% recommend you get someone unbiased like Francisco and FJ to make sure you are making the right decisions and safe ones. really appreciate all the guidance thanks.

I reached out to FJ looking for an architect but they only do engineering work so I asked if they had any referrals or preferred architects they like to partner with and the Office Administrator, Vivian, was so kind to offer referrals. She said she would email me a referral directly and she actually did! It is so rare to find people who follow up timely on such a small task too. I really appreciated her time and effort as I was struggling to find architects or even a reliable contact for architectural work.

I recently opened up a new storefront and needed some calculations done for city permit approval. My project was very small, but required by the city, and no engineers I contacted could be bothered to help me until I came across FJ Engineering. Not only did Francisco listen to what I needed but he took me seriously even though the job was well below his skill level. Throughout the whole frustrating process with the city this company made me feel at ease knowing the job would get done. I can't give enough compliments to Francisco and his team for the professionalism and care they took in helping me. Stop searching for engineers and give them a call, they are AMAZING!!

I have been using FJ Engineering Design for the last 5 years now let me tell you...Francisco is AMAZING! This company is very professional, knowledgable, trustworthy, and experienced to say the least. What I like working with Francisco is that he is extremely accommodating. As a Licensed General Contractor, I've had many plans designed and engineered throughout the years. I have immense appreciation for the relationship that I have developed with this firm. I have always recommended FJ Engineering to my clients and will always recommend them.

I had a project that I needed help with and I contacted FJ Engineering to get advise on.  Vivian was very attentive and swiftly communicated the details of the project to Francisco, the owner and principal engineer.   Francisco reviewed my documents and provided an overall general feedback so I could have an idea where I was standing; all of this free of charge. He then offered to provide consulting services and prepare a more detailed report with suggestions how to move forward.  All of this happened in just within a couple of hours from contacting the office. I've never felt so much care and attention to detail.   Unfortunately I had already an engineer that worked on my plans, but otherwise, I would have hired FJ engineer immediately.  You can tell Francisco knows what he is doing. He is familiar with the city regulations and have plenty of experience.  I definitely recommend Francisco and FJ Engineering Design!

This review is long overdue, because this is the second time I have had a great experience with FJ Engineering for a home remodeling.  In both homes structural changes were made (open kitchen, raising low ceiling beams, structural repairs, etc).  First of all, Francisco provides a lengthy and thorough inspection of the property (including a review of the ceiling framing and foundation) and explains in layman's terms, how your home is built and which walls are load bearing, etc.  Once we decided on a layout, his team was able to expedite the drawings to meet our short timeline, amazing!  They were patient and helpful, even when I changed my mind about certain items that required drawing revisions and went above and beyond to get everything completed rapidly.  After my first experience, I referred Francisco and his team to my sister and two friends, who all hired FJ and had good experiences.

I've had the pleasure to work with Francisco and his team on three separate occasions (retaining walls). They were able to suggest a couple of different designs that would facilitate the build on my end. They are very knowledgeable and detail oriented. I highly recommend Francisco and his team for all of your structural needs.

FJ has been a life saver for our home improvement project. I was basically in a really bad position regarding work that had already begun and needed to get structural plans drawn up. After contacting FJ and disclosing my issue, they were willing to help get us where we needed to be. They helped answer questions and concerns and even provided recommendations for other resources needed (i.e. contractors, architects) through their network. The recommendations were much appreciated and made really helped carry out my project. I felt like this team didn't only focus on their job, in-and-of itself; they cared us as clients as well. Nowadays, it is hard to come by both quality and exceptional customer service skills, so working with FJ was a great experience.

Francisco and his team are amazing.  I'm a developer and have worked with FJ for about 6 years. I don't let most of my subs communicate with my clients. Francisco is one of the few subs I do. He is very detailed and speaks the language clients understand. He is very patient and knowledgeable. Francisco and his team are always sync and probably work in parity. Whether I talk to Francisco directly or a member of his team the conversation is contiguous.  Saves everyone time and frustration. In addition, FJ has reduced my cost with their clever engineering. I have worked with other engineering firms that over engineer to only add cost to my projects.

As a business partner, I am extremely busy and rarely have time to write reviews unless its outstanding and worth passing the recognition along. I was very fortunate to be referred to Francisco and his team for a remodeling project and couldn't be more satisfied with his level of attention and service. What separated Francisco was that he went above and beyond to genuinely help out a frustrating and challenging process appear fluid. Throughout the process, I was impressed with his no-BS character, responsiveness/communication, frankness, professionalism, fair pricing, and most importantly how detail-oriented on the work that he delivered.  Thank you for a job well done and keep up the good work!

We turned to FJ Engineering for help after our architect told us that our previous structural engineer had a tendency of over-engineering and might cost us more than what it should have, as it was too much engineering, so a higher cost of construction.  (The architect worked with other engineer in another project) We are very lucky that we had a great experience with FJ engineering: 1.  Company engineer Marcos did a very thorough site investigation for our remodeling need, that is converting existing patio to be part of the master bedroom and opening up kitchen load bearing wall. 2.  The plan was done in the professional way and got approved. 3.  Professional work and great customer service. Quick to respond when my contractor has a question. I Highly recommend the company.

Francisco and his team are amazing professionals.  We are general contractors and they are definitely our "go to" engineering team.  They are smart, resourceful and really go above and beyond. Throughout the years, it has been very difficult to find a team like this who is knowledgeable about codes, and will not over do what is necessary which will cost our clients thousands more in unnecessary work.  They are very communicative and responsive. It has been, and continues to be our pleasure working with FJ Engineering.  They just make things easier for us.

Francisco was professional and very thorough in finding the structual problems of my deck.  He explained how he came to the suggestions and recommendations he was making.  I would recommend FJ Engineering for any structual needs.

We contacted FJ Engineering for some corrections in calculations that the planners needed us to submit for a patio enclosure project. The work was done not only quickly but very professionally. I communicate best through email, and they were able to accommodate that with very clear updates on what they were doing and when the work would be done. They even handed in the corrections to the planner themselves when we needed help there, too. We highly recommend this professional, friendly, and thorough company.

I called Francisco with no clue on whether or not I was even heading in the right direction with my issue. We chatted regarding my concerns with a recent home I purchased that was an investor flip that looks to have some structural issues. He is going to provide me with a person to assist me further that can come out and document what we are seeing and verify if they are truly concerns. He was very professional and appreciated his help.
