Before Guardian, our water was terrible and full of bacteria that caused mold. Our Guardian water system is amazing. It gives us water as good or better than bottled water straight from the tap. The system is also very easy to maintain. The Guardian Water Services employees are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, timely and great to work with. I can't recommend Guardian Water Services enough!
Your 5-star review made our day! Thanks for choosing us.

Technician said 18” of water sitting in the brine tank was normal and to give it time. This is not correct! Still have our problem.

Rob was absolutely wonderful and a great representative for your company. We had been using another company for years and had a problem they couldn’t seem to find with our water treatment system. I called Crystal and they sent Rob. He was very polite, thorough, and knowledgeable about testing the water. Unbelievably he found that the other company had just left a valve open that allowed untreated water into the house. Rob closed it and the problem was fixed immediately. This was after I was told by the other company to give it a few weeks and see if it gets better (the water in my house was yellow). Thanks to Rob and Crystal I now have perfectly clear water and will never use another service.

I highly recommend Guardian Water Services! I have had my water softener for five years with hardly any problem and when I did have a problem they were prompt and efficient. Today was a general check up, suggested by the company after five years. Jeff and Mike came out and they were everything you would want in technicians. They were professional, friendly an extremely knowledgeable. They explained everything in detail in a manner I could understand.
Way to go Guardian!
Thanks for the fantastic review! We're happy to have served you well.

BUYER BEWARE: Do your research & buy elsewhere!
THE CURRENT SITUATION:
We purchased the Maytag IT Series water treatment system for our house in July of 2024.
It all starts with Brock, one of their salespeople, who will hook-up a miniaturized version of the system that WTT is selling you. The device is new*, and performs remarkably well to show you the potential difference that you could experience in the softness, taste and safety of your water at every tap in your house. You'll be given a highly discounted price if you "act now" which immediately limits your ability to perform any amount of research to make the best decision. We reacted positively to the taste* of the water, so we purchased it. Note that the documentation you sign has a "3-Day right to rescind period" (important to remember for later).
The install went well, everyone is very professional start to finish, so no compliments to the staff with this regard. The water at every tap in our house was fantastic... FOR A TIME. It took our system about three months to show its inherent flaws and invariably WTT to show its lack of care, professionalism and business ethic.
THE BIG ISSUE: It started with a cup of coffee from a drip style coffeemaker; the first sip was almost like drinking coffee brewed with ocean water. I was so confused and shocked that I didn't even think it was the water, rather it may have been the coffeemaker itself. So I threw that batch away and brewed another batch using a traditional pour-over. AGAIN, a cup of coffee that would be outperformed by 3-day-old burnt gas-station coffee… so I threw that out too! Was it the bean? Was it the water?! Dismayed and confused, I took some bottled water and did a third and final batch of coffee in my trusty pour-over and it was finally amazing! It was at this time that I finally tasted the water from our tap, I couldn’t even drink it. THE TASTE WAS TERRIBLE.
WARNING SIGN: You are now faced with the reality that you spent A LOT of money on a system that has now compromised your entire water supply. Their response? Either accept whatever the system is doing to your water, or go back to city water until a technician can get to you… no urgency, care or concern. Just, “this is our next available time we can get out to you…” and they’ll get to you in a week or so. Nice.
Now our tech has now come out to investigate, TWICE. They sample the water to see if the system is working properly, as they should. They will adjust a few parameters in the software to combat what could be the cause. Then run a regen overnight, and suggest to run the water for a few minutes and see if there has been any change.
During the most recent visit, I had disclosed my disappointment and lack of faith that the taste wouldn't change and we’d be requesting a replacement of the current unit with a brand-new one or simply returning the system if this is what will happen each time the unit regenerates for the second or third time.
The taste IS what we purchased. The cost invariably equates to the level of care you should expect when something isn’t right.
So far, we’ve been told that we’re outside of the 3-day rescinding period so a return won’t be possible. Cute. So what they should say during the sales pitch is that once the 3-day rescinding period ends, the system and the debt you’ve just incurred is INESCAPABLE.
If the system fails, you’ve got a lifetime warranty to fall back on, right? WRONG. You get to spend a lifetime* wasting your time arguing with techs and customer service representatives that the water taste is unacceptable and not what was promised during Brock’s sales pitch.
You don’t like the taste of your water after 3 months of use? YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK! WTT will* lean on how the water TESTS*. **“Everything is testing that the unit is performing as advertised.”** TASTE IT! …TESTS ARE USELESS TO DETERMINE THE TASTE.
What’s next? Better Business Bureau, “Water Quality Association” and a call to Maytag to discuss how they prefer their bad press.
SIDENOTE: DO NOT fall for the "clean soap" products... awful.
