I considered several companies to do some work on my mom's house. Based on references provided and my conversations with Jim Brooks, I chose Foundation Pro Services. Jim and his team fixed drainage problems that had plagued the house for decades. This included rerouting gutter run-off, installing a french drain with gravel plus vapor barrier in a cramped crawl-space, installing sump pumps and taking care of the associated electrical work. Along the way, new issues like under-house plumbing problems were found and handled as well. FPS did it all and for a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to call them for other repairs.

The work performed was solid. I'm still not sure I needed the sump, but that piece is on me. My reason for the 3 star rating is due to the following issues: 1. The job took twice as long as what was quoted, 2. A few bricks were damaged during the pipe installation (one on the retaining wall), 3. I never received the warranty paperwork after requesting it twice, 4. One of my Dewalt tools disappeared and this is the only contractor who had access to my garage. Once again, this contractor does good work, and I felt this was a fair assessment.
Update: I would like to thank Jim for returning my tool to me. It wasn't in the best of shape upon return and it was returned two months late, but I am glad to welcome back. Thanks again Jim!

We try to please our customers in everything we do. Sometimes jobs just take longer than originally thought., We do not rush a job to get out quicker. More times than not, a quick job means someone cut corners. We do good work and are willing to stay on a job until it is finished. I am hoping after all the rain we are now getting, Mr. Lester will see why he has a sump and pump. If there is not enough fall for water to flow freely out and away from a house, sumps and pumps are used to make that that happen.
Very easy to work with. Always available to communicate with. Gave information needed to made a decision on what needed to be done. Would recommend if you have foundation issues.

Johnathan. To do the correct repairs for your house,would require tearing out your mother n laws bedroom. The repair we were talking about would come with risks that for me were unexceptable.
Leaving me a bad review for not jumping in to something I’m not sure of, was only to protect you and your family. Yes, I was busy and that's no excuse.
At least I didn’t throw a price at you, do poor work and then you not able to get in touch with me.
This bad review I will take.
By the way, I gave your wife a list of things you could do that would more than help keeping your home dry and would greatly help any corrections a waterproofing company could do.
For any system to work, these things have to be done.
- Cleaning overflowing gutters.
- Extending downspouts out past flower beds.
- Adding downspout extension to the downspouts that have no extension.
- Sloping your backyard away from flowing towards the garage door.
I still believe by doing the above items would greatly help with your water issue and give a waterproofing company that has to warranty their work a chance to see more clearly what the actual problem is and not bill you for something that may not work.
