Amazing experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone and I look forward to returning!

We spent 2 nights at the beginning of the off-season in October 2024. It’s very economical to go this time of year. I live in Cumberland County, so I am used to the scenery of the area. I did appreciate how quiet and well maintained the resort is and its remoteness didn’t phase me. Our suite was large and well appointed. It was 99% clean… nothing to get too upset about. The bathroom had everything anyone could want. The bar area complete with fridge, sink and microwave. The view was gorgeous and having 2 balconies was great. The lodge with archery and shooting activities was a nice experience and my massage at the spa was wonderful…thank you Samran..Sawadee Krab. The Clubhouse restaurants were a nice short walk away and were great too. The wait staff were friendly, accommodating, and efficient. There was a bit of a wait at times, but we were in no hurry… a golfer may feel differently if they are going to be late for a tee time. Food was delicious, although I would recommend you pass on the fries and hash browns (commercially frozen). My husbands 60th birthday dinner in the Cliffside dining room was the highlight… lamb, steak and scallops… yum. We had free breakfasts and could get whatever we wanted.. super nice. Courtney, Debbie, Sara, Lisa and the rest of the dining room crew… thank you. Most importantly, they are dog friendly… and were glad to give our dog lots of love and attention…she loved her time there. We are already planning on making this an annual autumn trip. Highly recommend.

Saw a video on some cool activities they offer on YouTube (clay shooting, axe throwing and archery) and knew it would be perfect place for my girlfriend. Upon researching I also saw they were doing a cool Culinary weekend which is something I love. The seminars included in the weekend on the Saturday looked rather boring to me and I could then fit the activities in for her with the food more for me. I set a reservation with lodging, the culinary thing and activities around Sept. 6/2024. On Oct. 25th/2024 - a few days before the event - I get a heartfelt email saying that since they are doing the culinary weekend that they would not be doing activities that Saturday and apologizing. I called the person on the email and was shocked it was the same person who wrote the email. Devoid of any caring or customer service she proceeded in a very robotic way to state and re-state the facts ad nauseam. When pressed on how I could still do activities since that was the initial reason for going there she stated it could be done on the Sunday BEFORE the final brunch, which was going to be 9-11am. In other words getting up super early on my vacation. She argued with me saying people aren't at the brunch for the whole time. The basic overall tone and vibe was one of who cares - we don't need you. I consulted with my girlfriend and then called her back, told her our conversation had rubbed me the wrong way, that I wasn't now thrilled to give them almost $2000 and that I was cancelling the whole trip. (It actually really disappointed me and broke my heart!) She mentioned something about maybe coming to visit another time in the future as a general statement, but what she doesn't get is I am never going there - ever. She offered no sympathy, no understanding and did nothing to make it right. (I never asked for anything extra and did not expect it but seeing as it was their last minute change it would have been a nice gesture to just offer) Good customer service that makes patrons feel welcome and appreciated (something I have had to do in past jobs that did not involve such high prices) is the backbone of a business that wants to keep their customers coming back - Fox Harb'r Resort just lost me forever.

Just completed a recent golf trip with friends. The weather was not on our side but even with that in mind we still had a great trip. The course was amazing, very scenic, rooms very excellent and food was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Very nice place, lots to do or just relax

I wish my golf game was as good as the Fox Harb'r experience!
