We approached George Scott Funeral Home following the loss of my mum's beloved husband and our stepdad. During this difficult time each member of George Scott were extremely respectful and supportive - they are a family run business with a very personal touch. They provided all the information we needed and were prompt with all visits and correspondence. My family has had previous experience with the funeral home and we would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you guys for making an extremely difficult time that bit easier and ensuring our goodbye was personal and thoughtful. Xx

Neil and his team provided exceptional support , care and guidance when i needed it, this was a great comfort to me. Thank you! We recently had our Mum's funeral arranged through Neil at George Scott Funeral Services. They arranged our Dad's funeral too 12 years ago and we had no hesitation in going back to them. From the beginning of the process to the very end, they were professional down to the finest detail, extremely respectful and sensitive to the situation. They helped to make it a beautiful day for our Mum, which was so very comforting for us all.

Neil, Andrea and their sons Eden and Fenton were all so helpful, caring and warm following the sudden death of my partner. From the moment of my initial call to his visit to my home the following morning, I knew that I was in safe hands with Neil. Neil was wonderful, explained everything so calmly and clearly and the arrangements were flawless. Noel was kept in their beautiful Chapel of Rest and he looked so beautiful and serene. He was dressed exactly as I had requested, and the tea lights which I had given them were placed around him in his coffin. I was allowed to visit daily and for this I am so immensely grateful. I cannot thank them enough for helping to make the day of Noel's Funeral so wonderful in such traumatic circumstances, and I would not hesitate to recommend their wonderful services.

We had the most kind, compassionate and professional service from Neil and Eden from the first phone call to leaving the crematorium after our mum’s service.

I can't thank Neil and his son Eden and the staff at George Scott Funeral Services enough for what they have done for caring for my mum to the service.They took everything into there hands and took the pressure off me and the family. I couldn't recommend them enough.

I lost my mother in September and George Scott Funerals were recommended to me through a family member, I am so happy that I acted on this recommendation, from the moment of my mum's passing they took care of everything to make the whole process seamless with respect, humility and dignity organising all of the necessary components that are necessary along the way, offering advice and keeping me informed and finally on the day of my mum's funeral undertaking their work with professionalism and respect that you would expect from an undertaker.

I honestly cannot rate George Scott's Funeral Service highly enough. I have used them twice now; the first time we had Neil and the service was impeccable from start to finish. A funeral director's job is to keep behind the scenes, behind the scenes, so the family don't need to worry about anything. Neil did all that, but so much more; he displayed such kindness, sensitivity and impeccable attention to detail. A weight lifted off your shoulders at the most distressing of times. I have just used George Scott's again for my Dad's funeral, and received the same impeccable service from the outset. From the minute I made that first phone call, Neil took all the worries about the funeral away, and again, he went above and beyond to help. He thinks of things you haven't thought of, he exhibits endless patience when you've asked the same question ten times, and he cares about the service in a way that is beyond reproach. The royal family themselves could not ask for more! On this occasion Neil was in demand already on the only date we were all available, so we had Neil's son , Eden. And what a credit to the company he is! We had family bearers for this burial, all of whom were very nervous, and Eden was amazing. He put everybody at ease, while being in control at all times. It's not an easy thing to lower a coffin of your loved one 9 feet into the ground, but Eden was in charge every step of the way, instructing everybody in such a gentle, kind way. He was there directing proceedings at every step so we didn't need to worry about anything, anticipating all our needs, and questions. But during the service when we were all emotional and crying, he was there, but almost invisible so as not to be intrusive at such a personal time. I cannot praise him highly enough. Everybody at George Scott's goes above and beyond with such kindness and skill. I cannot thank them enough.

Thank you so much for providing such an amazing service when my mum died in September. From start to finish, the whole experience was stress-free, kind, compassionate and caring. The funeral itself could not have been better. Special thanks to the celebrant, Mark, for doing such an amazing job.

Well, once we made contact with George Scott for funeral services, from the first telephone call, the stress and strain was minimised.
