Love Gat guns. They have a great selection of firearms there and have a great staff that will help you with whatever needs you have! Raul that works at Gat Guns helped me pick out a new handgun that I had been wanting and let me look at a couple similar options there. He was very knowledgeable and definitely knew his products. Always nice going into a gun store and talking to someone that knows guns and products like him. Thanks for your help Raul!

First time here purchasing a used glock for the first time and Raul was here to help me along the experience.at first is was not in to ever buys used Gun at all after looking at a few a Raul also explaining what to look for when buying a used gun I felt a lot more confident in gun the and ended up purchasing it

Terrible customer service, felt unwanted. Highly recommend D5, Morengo guns, or Northshore Sports. Charged my wife range fee just to watch. Let me add I have a Foid card and they did not let her shot while with me, definitely don’t know the law/regulations. This place needs a lesson in customer service.

Came in to get my CCL gun and Raul was of great assistance. He made plenty of recommendations and was very knowledgeable on the range of guns available.

7/10. Bought a mini 14 here. The sales rep Christian was great - very polite and friendly. Competitive pricing for used guns. Having an electronic 4473 is nice, they help guide you through it if you have any questions. The “try it before you buy it” is a good concept. The layaway process is also generous. The lawyer paperwork you sign at the beginning of the purchase process is just plain silly and likely the owners just trying to shield themselves from legal liability. If you purchase a firearm here, expect to wait in “Purgatory” for at least 1-2 hours after saying yes to the dress - this is the line you wait in to finalize your order and submit background check information. It’s a loooong wait, and you better have all your ducks in a row in terms of paperwork, payment, etc. otherwise you wait in line all over again. The pit bosses behind the purgatory desk are super slow and take forever but I think that’s mainly due to being understaffed and having to deal with people that don’t even have FOIDS and all that. And the 3 day clock starts once you submit your order, so you’re going to have to wait in purgatory again for another 1-2 hours to pick it up. Overall a decent gun shop.

Fix your mobile website. Straight trash... but the shop is wonderful.

Great staff and selection

Won't let out of state residents touch a gun in their store. But hey, they'll sell it to you and ship it to your home state without getting to inspect it first. Don't waste your time here if you're not an Illinois resident.
