Beautiful atmosphere, food, coffee and service. What a gem of a place! All the little finishing touches like decor, plants, music and personal service make it a must visit. Tell all your friends and family to come on down and enjoy the experience of Gather& Graze!

I gave 2 stars overall instead of 1 because the coffee was actually really nice but as for the rest... I was part of the defence community group that dropped in as a last minute decision last week to check out the 'kid friendly' cafe described below by reviewer Kiara. Please don't advertise yourselves as such if unwilling to provide a welcoming environment for young children. If anyone is contemplating coming here with kids for brunch think again - there may be a 'play space' in the corner of the cafe with a few toys but the workers won't be happy to deal with you.

Ordered a big breakfast for two absolutely delicious fantastic all round

I’ve visited this cafe on two occasions now, both visits being months apart. On my first visit I got a takeaway coffee after doing school drop off and found the staff to be quite rude in how they interacted with me while taking my order (the blonde older lady in particular) I left thinking I didn’t like that experience and won’t go back there however yesterday (29/11/23) I did go back with a group of women and children. We are a defence community that try different cafes each week. Our event organiser was made to feel less then when she placed the first order and was quite abruptly told to “make a booking in the future” given the size of our group. We continued to sit and chat for awhile, then made a few more coffee orders and the children played. There were roughly ten children combined in our group and there ages range from 0-5, they were moving about between the play corner and our table but generally all were very well behaved though I noticed that the older blonde lady was walking past us and our children looking very displeased then awhile after I was standing up at our table which was in front of the counter when she appeared to be talking to another staff member seemingly about her annoyance with us when a lady walked in to the cafe and turned around and walked out when I heard the older staff member say “too many kids here”, which yes we contributed to the majority of children there and it was understandably busy with them walking around but they were in no way misbehaving and we shouldn’t be discriminated against by your staff by choosing to go to your cafe for an outing with our children. I believe you need to rethink or retrain the members you have front of house as ultimately they are promoting your business and given the two poor experiences I’ve had there it wasn’t just a “bad day” for this lady she clearly doesn’t have an approachable attitude and leaves your customers feeling inadequate for no reason at all which goes against everything that is written about your cafe on your website. I’m unsure why you have a children’s corner and imply you’re a family oriented business when we were made to feel so unwelcome by your staff. We’ve all said we will not go back to your cafe again.

Placed coffee order and it was lukewarm when it came to the table and was incorrect. We had the calamari 6 pieces for $17 felt overpriced for what we got. There was average customer service, more concerned with getting payment for the meal than just greeting us.

Food is great. Your experience will be determined by staff working. No one seems happy to be working. I’ve been here a few times and one person seems to always make a comment that is unpleasant and patronising. Customer service here is poor and bc of the comment I got today I probably won’t be coming back. She literally just brought my food to my table and didn’t say a word…wow, terrible service.

Fantastic food and great service.

Great little cafe… amazing food at reasonable prices. Prompt service. The food is a step above standard. Bacon is baked and not salty. Hash browns have a hint of onion. Proper big field mushrooms. Definitely will be back.

Great food and service. Wheelchair friendly as long as people don't park next to the accessible car park because it blocks the ramp. Definitely worth a visit.

I went to Gather & raze with my hiking group. The place was busy, well, no wonder! The food is nice, the atmosphere is very good, food well presented and tasty. The people who work there put certainly lots of effort to serve the customers, to prepare nice food and to make the people feel good.

I really enjoyed lunch here with the family on a Saturday and can highly recommend the G&G Benny - flavour sensation! I was told Beef Burger is also a winner. I didn't mind the atmosphere personally, however the place filled up quickly and became very loud, which was challenging for one person at my table with sensory sensitivities. Overall, I'm looking forward to getting back there soon to do it all again... oh! and the coffee is amazing here, too.

The G&G Benny is the most important breakfast innovation in the history of the human race. If you don't enjoy it you are objectively wrong.
