Our Ventless Fireplace came out perfectly in our living room of our New York City apartment. The customer service has been amazing, and we have already enjoyed a few fires despite it still being summer.

In renovating our coop on the Upper East Side, an actual working fireplace was very high on our wishlist. But it looked beyond the realm of possibility until we discovered that Hearth Cabinet could literally make a dream come true. And they did just that. Wonderful to work with - so pleasant and professional. The options were endless and we wound up with the fireplace we never thought we could afford - or even be allowed to install. It is perfection!

We love our ventless fireplace from Hearth Cabinet. The gel cartridge (think sterno) produces a beautiful flame. Andrea was wonderful to work with and so helpful. These are for aesthetics. Not heat. But gives off more heat than you think! It warms a small room.

We love our fireplace! It’s is a beautiful focal point in our home that we use it often. We receive so many compliments and it truly elevates the space.

I live in Baltimore so I did not visit the showroom, but I had a very good experience with their sales team remotely. We ended up getting the #103 - Small - Black Firebox. We live in a row house in a middle unit and didn't want to have to deal with running a gas line for a fireplace. I also suffer from medical problems that affect my lungs so I wanted a solution that didn't create a lot of smoke and/or fumes. I ended up doing a lot of research until I found HearthCabinet. Their fireplaces looks so beautiful and I loved that they had gel alcohol cartridges as the source of fuel but yet they look like gas if not real wood fireplaces. The gel cartridges pop and crackle when you light them so they really create a lovely atmosphere. These fireplaces don't put off as much heat as a gas one would but we live in such a small place we actually like that. Anyway in my opinion these fireplace cabinet inserts are worth the price because they are beautifully made and really there is nothing else like them on the market, in my opinion.

HearthCabinet Ventless Fireplaces are genius! We have a townhome so building a real fireplace was out of the question and venting one for a gas fireplace meant going through a double brick wall. This was the perfect solution. The customer service people were quick to respond to questions and it was very easy to order. It’s very easy to use and we have had a few fires already. They crackle and pop and add so much to our living room. We are stocked up for the winter!

It’s great.

We love our fireplace. It was the missing piece in our living room and now it looks and feels complete. It's easy to use and the whole family loves a cozy day by the fire. We live in a condo building so it wouldn't be possible to add a fireplace without HC. The only piece of feedback I have is we wish it opened up differently. The bottom opening is a big awkward to get on the ground and rest it above your head while lighting the fire each time. All in all, still worth it, but hope they change that on new models.

I had always dreamed of having a fireplace in NYC and stumbled upon HearthCabinets. My husband was against getting a "fake" fireplace so I sent him to the showroom to see what we might be missing... Not only did he return insisting we get a Hearth, he insisted on a larger size! Our family loves our Hearth fireplace and we receive so many compliments from visiting friends. My Hearth Cabinet fire box exceeded my expectations. It's exactly what my living room needed. A beautifully elegant product, easy to order and customize and arrived on time.

Upon renovation of my prewar apt that had non working wood burning fireplaces, I learned from my coop board that WBFs were being fazed out for safety/health concerns. I was not keen on any solution but wood burning, however, I am very delighted with my Hearth Cabinet ethanol fireplace choice. I had two installed and added my own Chesney marble surrounds. Guests have commented how real the fire looks. They have been a welcome addition to my home providing me an attractive option versus no atmosphere of a wood burning fire that was my #1 choice at the time. I must admit, it feels safer at the end of an evening at bedtime in a 120 yr old apt building, not to be worried about anything fire related as I am going to sleep. Furthermore, I recently read that wood burning pizza ovens may be banned in NYC unfortunately, so I am pleased with the ethanol resolution to my dilemma if this is the direction wood burning is heading. Also, Sara Check, VP of Sales & Operations is fantastic!

We are very happy with the fireplace and the customer service we received throughout the process. Antonio was super helpful in helping us to determine which fireplace would be the best fit and was in constant communication throughout the process, keeping us posted on the delivery timeline etc. The fireplace itself is beautiful and classic and adds charm to the room. We couldn’t be happier.
