Reservé con Gili recommended el tour de Rinjani 3dias/2noches para dos personas. Nos decidimos por esta empresa porque nos la recomendaron en un alojamiento que estuvimos.
En total eramos un grupo de 6 personas de distintas nacionalidades.
Puntos buenos:
- La labor de los porteadores subiendo las cosas es inestimable.
- El guía estaba pendiente del grupo.
- Realizan todas las funciones de montar, cocinar, recoger, etc.
Puntos negativos:
- El guía no hablaba casi inglés, difícil comunicación.
- Tanto en el momento de la reserva como en ocasiones posteriores se indicó que una persona del grupo era intolerante al gluten. Al llegar a la primera comida, nadie sabía nada ni el significado de ello. Por supuesto hubo contaminación cruzada.
- Las tiendas que llevaban no eran adecuadas para las condiciones climáticas. Es una zona con mucho viento y el polvo se metía dentro de la tienda sin parar, muy desagradable.
- No había baño portátil.
En definitiva, en mi opinión, es un experiencia maravillosa pero dura que podría haber sido más agradable de haber elegido otra empresa.

We booked 3d/2n trekking to Rinjani. This company was recommended by the homestay we stayed in Bangsal.
We advised that one of us was gluten intolerant and they say no problem. When we were in the trekking, the guide had no idea of what gluten was and did not bring gluten free options.
The guide spoke 0 english so It was very difficult to explain to him.
There were no toilet tent.
Everything was basic, the food, the ridicoulous small portions of chicken and especially the tents, not prepared for the strong wings in the mount. It didnt help to camp on high ground. As a result, the dust and dirt got through the tents, making imposible to sleep. The second night, the wind was so strong that we had to move camp in the middle of the night to a lower altitud place. Of course, i cant blame them for the wind but they could have chosen a better place to camp (both days) and provide better tents, prepared for the wind.
I Guess that Gili Recommended is just an intermediary company but they should choose carefully the partners they work with.

Poor snorkeling experience , not nice guide.
It was not good , 1. They picked us up 30 minuts to late, 2. Boat to gilli was old wooden boat with 30x30cm glass bottom with water in it so nothing to see. No water bottle as promissed, we booked a 4hour tour and after 3x snorkeling times about 1.5 hour it was enough and brought us to gilli tranwangan beach were we were dropped at bechbar. We stayed there about 1 hour an then we have enough and asked to bring us back. Dont go with this company. Poor

Posto bellissimo ma troppo affollato.
Tour con le classiche tre attrazioni delle Gili Islands ( statue, tartarughe e snorkeling). Forniscono pinne e maschera ed ovviamente c'è la sosta per mangiare che e' a parte. Tour troppo affollato oltretutto da gente imbecille che spinge per essere molto vicino alla tartaruga.

The effort was worth it
We had a really nice trip guided by Deri. He made everything possible we were asking for. Respect and thanks a lot to the porters as well. They did such a great job, not just carrying so much stuff, but making great food as well. We advise everybody to take some extra snacks with them. It was really exhausting, but because of the views on our way and on the summit it was worth it. And thanks to Rosi for managing everything :)

The team are really nice. The accomodation and foods are good. You dont need to worry anything else just focus on your trip. The trek actually really demanding of physical ability, so make sure you have some training first

Amazing experience
The tour was amazing! Our guide was very professional. We did the tour the other way around than most organisations do (first the sea and crater and mt. rinjani on the last day)and it is so much better this way! Less exhausting and you have more time at the hot springs (you sleep there). Also the food was very good and we even paid not that much for the trip. Overall I can totally recommend doing the trip with this organisation:)

Captain and snorkeling guide were fantastic, the photos the guide took made the memory complete, and no expectation of payment/tip. Recommend going early morning at high tide and when the crowds are small. Spent hours swimming with some beautiful turtles and such colourful schools of fish.

A sublime experience
To start with the location was central to the beach making it easy to access the boat. The captain and the guide were early therefore we were able to start earlier. They knew the great spots where turtles would be and where lots of fish would be around coral and were very helpful with sorting equipment and making sure it was ok. The guides also took plenty of videos and pictures to make it even more memorable. After all of the snorkelling, the guides took us to see baby turtles at the sanctuary and got us a great table for some food at a local restaurant on Gili meno.
