I can’t begin to convey how extraordinary my experience was with Brad Mariage at Gittings! From our very first meeting, he dedicated himself to understanding our family and our vision for the photos. His passion for photography is not just evident; it's contagious! Brad has a remarkable gift for capturing the true essence of our personalities, and he worked wonders to ensure everyone was smiling—he even got our dog to pose with a delightful grin! After the shoot, we had the joy of collaborating with Andrew Cordes, who guided us through the selection of our favorite images. Had a great experience getting some professional headshots done with Sarah. I don’t really enjoy getting pictures taken but Sarah did a good job making me feel comfortable in the studio and provided a great customer experience. I was happy with how the pictures came out as well. I would recommend.

My son is now a third generation Gittings customer! We had a portrait session with Brad recently and a photo review session with Andy. It was a phenomenal experience. My 5 1/2 mo old was engaged, smiley, and comfortable with Brad and the photos turned out better than I imagined. The session with Andy was comfortable and so nice. They project the images on a big screen so it is easy(ish) to choose which images you love. I cannot wait to get the copies in my home. We are going to join the birthday club and have some wonderful memories for life. Including a behind the scenes image that I took.

Wonderful! Brad was the nicest photographer and most helpful in setting the scene for our photo session. He was great with our dogs and made the experience fun and we LOVE our final portrait choice!

We love the Gittings team! We are members of the Birthday Club and have our children sit for portraits each year. Our family did this when we were children and looking through the books over time is a favorite childhood memory. Brad is an expert at getting children engaged and keeping them smiling. He notices every detail and makes thoughtful changes (for example, they shouldn't be wearing shoes when sitting because you only see the bottom of the shoe - something I would never have thought of!). Andy is wonderful at making your feel at home during the review process and is willing to work with any request. He has a great eye and is able to point out things that we often forget to consider! Gittings is part of our family tradition and we proudly display the pictures all over our house (and our families' houses!). We will be customers forever!

It is my belief that finding someone whom you can trust when it comes to one’s children might be the absolute hardest thing in the world. I feel that applies whether it is a pediatrician or a school or anything in between—even capturing the most precious moments in your child’s life as they grow. At Gittings Portraiture on West Alabama in the Highland Village Area of Houston, Texas, the team of Andrew Cordes and master photographer Brad Mariage make these moments some of the most cherished one can have. And I know, because I speak from experience! My daughter Emmie has had her annual portraits taken by Brad for the past three consecutive years, with the first and third in studio sessions bookending the second session in the blooming, Brenham bluebonnets. Brad always succeeds in making Emmie feel like the most spectacular, fascinating creature to ever be photographed, while Andy ensures that everything runs smoothly, and the process of portrait selection and ordering is not only productive, but also super fun. Did I mention he is a joy to be around, because he is! Emmie was beyond thrilled to grace one of the windows at the studio last year, and their constant attention and positivity has boosted her confidence and brought so much joy. I cannot say enough about the team at Gittings, the experience they provide, and the impeccable product that results from a sitting. I cannot imagine anyone else taking Emmie’s annual portraits; Gittings has become a part of our family, and we are so grateful to them for making Emmie feel like the most special girl in the world.

This studio is beautiful and Sarah was wonderful to work with. She obviously has a talent, not only for taking beautiful portraits, but for making one feel comfortable and bringing out the best in her subject.
