Regrettably disappointing from the point of paying our deposit. Advised a lead time of 6 weeks which turned into 16 weeks. We could have dealt with that delay if they had of been honest, instead we were told weekly that it would be here next week. Numerous unanswered calls and emails. Delaying our project and messing around our tradesmen. I had to go on several occasions and lift bits of our timber that hadn't been delivered or made. Then finally when fitting our porch they sent a product that didn't match the scale they had given us on the plans and we had to dig an additional foundation onsite for this to work, again costing us additional money. Glenfort still never responded to my emails requesting an explanation. 5/08/2024 Unfortunately I cannot reply to Glenforts response so I will add it here. Thanks for your response Colm. Firstly we paid you in full almost 2 months before we received our products. If by "positive comments" you mean the numerous unanswered emails or the several times I had to land unannounced to the office to get answers. We never had a contractor so you must be getting us confused, this was a self build that I managed. Our building was in place before any templates were drawn up so this does not make sense. Glenfort are the engineering experts not me. In terms of the craftsmanship I'll agree with you there, the work that the boys do on the ground is excellent. It's all the other areas in-between that glenfort regrettably fell short on with our build and unfortunately couldn't be honest.

Took our deposit and then ignored us for almost 4 months. Only by constantly calling every day did we eventually receive our product. Held are project up by months. Wouldn't recommend they just told lie after lie.

Ordered ceiling beams for kitchen and living room in our new build. Colm was so helpful and met with me in the workshop to talk through the options. Had them made and delivered within 2 weeks exactly as designed.

Ordered 3 wood beams from this company. Beams arrived un-fished as requested and one of the beams was not correct length. Called them every day left messages and no reply from them. I would not be recommending this company.

Very helpful. Easy to do business with. Got a fantastic beam in French pine for over my stove. They got everything ready for me and I was able to bring it back with me. took it home.

First Class service. Ordered a beam was ready with in 24 hours and finished exactly as I wanted it!
