Clayton and Crew were fantastic, funny, fast, fabulous and funicular, giving us a show from the very beginning with rope rescue skills unmatched on the River. : )

We had such an awesome whitewater experience with Tahoe Whitewater Tours. We went on the Truckee River in mid August, as it was my first time, and it was a good mix of relaxing, swimming in the river at a few swimming holes and experimenting really fun rapids. It was very well organized and all the guides were fun, especially Skylar, as he made learning about the sport fun and easy to remember. Our raft guide was Izzy and she was so knowledgeable, calm and helped guide us through some tough areas and tough situations. She was funny and confident. The photographer, Chris was so awesome. They offer a thumb drive with photos and I highly recommend getting this, as you will get photos throughout your trip on a thumb drive by the end of the trip. I was very impressed how quickly he captured all the moments on the camera, organized them and got them on a thumb drive, all in time for us to take home. I highly recommend the Truckee River with Tahoe Whitewater Tours, for first timers and children, and other rivers for more experienced individuals. This is a first class operation. Guides are fantastic. Safety is main concern. They do still offer fun along the trip. Highly recommend this company. Our guide Skyler is awesome. Great experience and enthusiasm.

We did the half day Boca to Floreston. Great experience for beginners. Everyone from the office to the guides to the photographer and bus driver made this a great trip. Paul and Joey did a great job navigating and educating as we rafted.

My family went for a birthday event and it was a blast. They accommodated our group of eleven accordingly and had great guides there to help. Kelly, my guide was a blast to talk to and even let me, 13, guide the boat on an easy part of the river. She knew a lot about the area, too so we got a good history lesson about the place. Never flipped over either. Overall, a great place to go for any event. And all the guides know what they are doing and are very friendly towards everyone.

Absolutely loved this trip!!! We had 8 people total with 4 kids. We did the full day Chili Bar run and had the best time. Our guide was Lunchbox and he was absolutely the best. He made us all feel safe and made sure the kids had an amazing trip to remember. Would highly recommend it and our guide.

Our family of 4 had a great time on the 1/2 day run. We took our 11 and 13 year old down the river -- Matt was our guide. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and felt safe the entire way.

What a great adventure! The scenery and rapids were awesome but it was our rafting guide Joey that made it World Class. This guide knows his craft. This is one amazing outfit that is the best from the beginning to the end. Well done!

Our family booked 4 tickets for their whitewater tour in mid-July 2022 and it was a phenomenal experience. Adam was our guide and he did an amazing job. The views were astounding and fun was had by all in our raft. We definitely recommend this establishment for your whitewater rafting experience.

The boys and I had a blast. The crew was super knowledgeable, extremely fun, and calm and collected in the class 4 rapids we conquered. Best bachelor party ever.

We had an amazing time with Tahoe Whitewater Tours! Our group of 5 had a range of experiences: 2 members who had never rafted before, 1 who hadn’t rafted in 20 years, and 2 who had been in the past several years. We all had a great time and felt safe and prepared! They did let us know we might fall out but gave us all the necessary information about what to do and how to stay safe. Our trip was in August on the Truckee River (Class I-III rapids). The water was a little cold but refreshing and there are swimming areas where you can jump out of the raft to cool off. Kiegan was our guide and was great at giving us instructions to get us in the right part of the rapids! He helped make sure we were all having a great time. They offer a photo package with many high quality pictures for around $50. We bought it and were very glad we did!

This place is so much fun!! We loved the friendly knowledgable staff, breathtaking views and wild adventures! This is a must with friends or family! Children (7 & 10 yo) absolutely enjoyed this adventurous class II & III rapids for their first time experience and they wanted to come back again!! We went in Aug so water wasn’t too cold! It was so hot that the cool water felt refreshing to jump in! Topped it off with incredible professional photos from the local photographer! Thanks all for a great experience!
