I used to go to this restaurant a lot for years. It's now reconstructed under new management. The quality of the food is just not the same. Nor is the service - A Total different atmosphere.

Most pleasant diner experience you’ll find in Brooklyn Heights. Clark Street is bright, Montague Diner has overpriced cache, and Grand Canyon has the fastest, most kind service with equally if not better food. They really aim to make you happy. Love their Healthy Breakfast Wrap - just the right amount of everything!

This would be my first choice for diner style food on Montague Street. Originally, we were going to to to a place across the street but were met with no acknowledgment, insane wait times and an attitude.
Walked in here, no wait and greeted warmly. Everyone was so nice, professional and patient. Decor is super cool too, nice vibes all around. Plus the food is delicious and the portions are big. Lentil soup was soooo good!
A bit of a schlep for me but will definitely come back if I'm in the area!

Trash service every time I go after 4pm. Walked out after 15 minutes sitting there in an empty restaurant with nobody attending instead cleaning up around you…and place was nearly empty. During the morning, they do a good job.

I love this place for their huge fresh ground beef burgers with Steak fries! A true gem located in a beautiful neighborhood w/outdoor seating. Spring/summer days are awesome.
