Wonderful Getaway Green Fig was everything we were looking for in a hotel on St Lucia. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided suggestions about what to do and where to eat-they really made the trip for us! Also, the property is just so so beautiful. You can't beat it.

Amazing Vibes & Hospitality! (Hidden Gem of St. Lucia) My husband and I had an amazing experience at Green Fig! I don't even know where and how to even begin talking about our experience. It was PHENOMENAL!!! From the moment we booked the trip until the end of the trip, the customer experience was top notch. The Manger Michael was responsive to all of our messages and needs. His office staff (Joy) took care of all of our transportation needs by making sure we were picked up and dropped off to our excursions and dinner dates on time. The resort is located on a hill with direct views of a Piton. We booked our first two nights in the Bali Suite room which was authentically beautiful and gave us an birdhouse/rainforest feel. Our window and balcony was directly facing the Piton and the town of Soufriere down below (where beautiful and colorful houses were). We enjoyed getting our steps in daily as we walked up and down the many stairs to get to different parts of the resort (be sure to wear comfy shoes as the steps and walkways are a bit bumpy and steep at some points). Our friends renewed their vows while we were there and it was the most beautiful and intimate ceremony we had ever seen. The manager arranged for an officiant to come to the resort to remarry our friends as well as a decorating team to decorate the balcony for our friends where the ceremony took place (with the beautiful piton in the background). We enjoyed the architect of the resort so much that we wanted to experience another room with a more closed off wall and with an AC to get the traditional resort room experience as well. The food at the resort was delicious EVERY single time!! Chef Wesley ensured that we were well taken cared of for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The servers, cleaning crew, and bar crew were all welcoming and had amazing hospitality. When you go away, you want to know that you're in good hands, I can honestly say that Michael and his team provided that feeling and more! We enjoyed the private pools located in different parts of the resort. We had a wonderful couples massage at the spa where we over looked the town and directly viewed the Piton!! Our last night was so much fun, there was a live singer and pianist that played music while we ate dinner and had the small crowd dancing and singing. The resort was intimate and private and allowed my husband and I to disconnect from the world around us to just live and bask in the beautiful moments that Green Fig afforded us for an entire week! We visited Sulphur Springs, took a boat ride to Marigot Bay, Sugar Beach, Anse Chastanet beach, and Sapphire Falls (the front desk helped to arrange our transportation each time). Green Fig Resort & Spa definitely holds a very special place in my heart! My husband and I will be returning again! Thank you Michael & Jason for your amazing hospitality!

Magical We booked the Green Fig after 8 days on a sailboat with the intention of resting up before returning home. My reticence in booking an unfamiliar property was immediately squelched. The Green Fig is a meandering, magical place with unmatched beauty and service. Attention to every detail and the friendly staff made us feel at home. Because of the layout, you feel like you are the only people there. The food is excellent- breakfast consists of fresh fruit and delicious breads with butter and jam. We had an excellent couples massage overlooking the Piton. Our stay felt like a relaxing dream. Denzel took great care of us at the bar. Michael went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Juan was our waiter a lot of days and was a joy. Spencer couldn’t do enough to make us feel like we were esteemed family members. Don’t hesitate to book here if you are going to St Lucia. It is a hidden gem on a beautiful island.

The Best Experience Green Fig Resort is the most lovely hotel I’ve ever stayed at (I have traveled to at least 20 different countries). Me and my friends arrived and were greeted by kind staff and the local favorite, rum punch. The staff took our luggage to our room, and then we went to the spa after a long day of traveling. The massages were amazing, and the view was even more incredible. We had many delicious meals that were made by the incredible chef, Wesley. The waitresses Juan and Susan were so kind and attentive. Also the manager, Michael, helped us with everything we needed including booking tours to explore St. Lucia. Me and my friends spent a lot of time by the upper pool as well as the pool outside of building 5, which we had to ourselves. The view from the pools made us stay outside for hours and hours. Green Fig has the most beautiful views in Soufriere. It is on the side of a mountain. Anywhere you are at in the hotel is beautiful, you almost feel as if you’re part of the jungle. Our room was also very nice and there was a lot of room for all 3 of us. The staff kept the room clean for us, and they did a thorough job. We were at the bottom of the hotel, so we did have to walk up a few stairs the get up to the bar/restaurant area. It helped us get our exercise in for the day! In addition, the drinks were made by Denzel and we loved every one we got! He was friendly and even checked on us while we were swimming in the pool to see if we wanted any drinks or food. If you ever get the chance to go to St. Lucia I highly recommend Green Fig Resort. We all had such a great experience and will definitely be returning.

The Hidden Gem of St. Lucia My husband and I had the most romantic and beautiful honeymoon in St. Lucia and enjoyed every second of our stay at The Green Fig Resort and Spa. We stayed in The Romance Suite (perfect name for a honeymoon getaway) and we were completely blown away by all of the features. The room was complete with a walk-in closet, mini fridge, safe, huge bathroom, comfy king size bed and best of all, an incredible balcony with a splash pool, tables and a couch. We spent a lot of our time on that balcony, enjoying a Piton beer and looking at the colorful town of Soufriere. Michael and his team at The Green Fig were incredible. They were attentive and accommodating with our every need. My husband’s suitcase was lost for three days and Michael made sure he had daily contact with the airport in order for us to get it. He even loaned my husband some swim trunks so we could at least take a dip in the pool. There are three pools on the grounds - our favorite one was the one by the bar. We spent countless hours sun tanning in the long chairs and then taking a dip to cool off. No matter where you are in the resort, you have an incredible view of the town - we would spend time in the pool looking out at beautiful Soufriere. The food at The Green Fig is amazing. Their menu is growing, but everything we had was delicious. Our favorites were the Chicken Roti, Fish Burger and Plantain Chips with a Mango Salsa. You can tell how fresh everything is and we loved having the local flavors of St. Lucia. Every morning they have a complimentary breakfast with different breads, coffee and fresh fruit. They have an extended breakfast menu as well if you want something more. We loved how close the property is to town. We were able to walk from our room to town in less than 10 minutes. We were warned that taxis might be a little expensive, but when you’re that close to town, it’s not needed! We spent many afternoons exploring Soufriere, going on boat tours and enjoyed some beautiful meals in town - our favorite was Orlando’s. Joy, the tour expert, set us up with some incredible tours with Darvin. We did three days of snorkeling and it was so personalized to us and our experience. Each day felt like such a treat and we felt so special. On our last night, we did a sunset cruise with Darvin - dolphins were jumping next to us on the tour, music was playing and we got to watch the suns’ reflection off the Pitons, it was almost too perfect. Joy helped us book a taxi one day so we could do the Tet Paul Nature Trail as well as go to the volcano and sulphur springs - both we HIGHLY recommend. It was such a different experience you don’t feel like you get anywhere else. The hike wasn’t hard and it was only 45 minutes round trip. The view at the top is unbeatable. We also enjoyed the Spa at The Green Fig. The day after we arrived, we booked a couples massage and it was the best one of my life. The setting couldn’t be better and they really welcomed us into “Island Time”. The Green Fig Resort and Spa was incredible in every way, we honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. We’ve been home for a month and we think about our dreamy honeymoon there every day - we cannot wait to return one day!

THE VIBES YOU WANT, THE VIBES YOU NEED! My girl friend and I extended our stay after a group trip in Cap Estate to explore Soufriere. It couldn't have been a better choice - we felt we were transported to another island (Costa Rica would be my comparison) and Green Fig was the foundation to such a great vacation extension. The other reviews hit the nail on the head - unique stay, beautiful views, great staff and more. If you're not a big box resort person yet want amenities, views and safety Green Fig is the spot. The bartenders, servers and chef are fantastic! The other guests were a joy which is not something that happens at other properties. And then the rooms and view.... so glad Jason and his team revived this property because it has to be the best location on the island. We felt lucky to have come across Green Fig and had such a wonderful stay. The only caveat to be aware of is that it is still under development, working out kinks but that is part of the charm. We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Michael for a perfect time in St. Lucia!

Unique Stay. Highly Recommended! Every year we go away for our anniversary and man finding Green Fig was the perfect find! If you don't want the usual commercial resort experience, this is it! The view was amazing! The resort grounds are uniquely designed. We stayed in the open air Bali room. There are some steps to get back and forth to the main area but we can all use the exercise lol. The room was spacious and gave us a cool experience that we will never forget. Each set of rooms has access to a pool that is fairly close to you which allows you to have a sense of seclusion if that is what you're looking for. My husband also renewed our vows on our balcony overlooking the Pitons. We got lucky with the weather and even with the rain that we did get we were able to still enjoy ourselves. Loved, loved, loved everything about my stay! Overall great staff! Manager Michael goes above and beyond, he's amazing! Brittany and Joy were also great with communication. Chef Wesley was great, Denzil at the bar with great energy. All of the ladies from the kitchen to the rooms, to the guys that carried your luggage were just beautiful people. You can tell the staff cares. Long story short lol I will be back for sure!

Beautiful resort, and great staff We had an excellent time staying here. The resort could not be better situated, and looks amazing. It has some of the best views on the island. The rooms are great, and feature VERY comfy beds. Because they're a relatively new resort, there were a few understandable snags that popped up, mostly out of their control. For example, there's no phones in the rooms, so we were dependent on wi-fi to communicate with the front desk - unfortunately, a relatively recent storm had knocked down some lines; wi-fi still mostly worked, but it was slow and unreliable in our room. Apparently, the one company that handles repairs on the island was taking it's time. Because our room was separated from the front desk by quite a few stairs, just popping over was a bit of an exertion. There were a few other minor snags, but the way the resort staff handled everything more than made up for it. Denzel, Lee, Suzanne, Tim, Brittany, Joy, and Michael - each one was a pleasure to deal with, and immediately responded to our needs. I look forward to seeing how the resort grows and continues to get even better!

100000% satisfied and would recommend! Would recommend this 10000% of the time! I was satisfied with the customer service and very much impressed by how much the staff cared about each individual as opposed to the “business”. The property is beautiful with the most gorgeous view that Saint Lucia has to offer. Really felt like I was in an alternate universe that was paradise.

An incredible hotel! We had a wonderful time at the Green Fig! This is such a beautiful hotel with amazing views. The photo attached shows the Petit Piton, as viewed from our bed. The hotel manager, Michael, was extremely helpful setting up trips to some nearby areas and dining, and the re-entry Covid testing went off without a hitch. I should also mention, we had dinner a few nights at the hotel, seated outside in front of an incredible view overlooking the city... don't miss this. Also, don't miss the views from the pool! We had an A/C room, and it was huge with a lovely deck where we spent a lot of time. It's about a 5-10 minute walk down the hill to the nearest beach - this is a smaller, "working" beach with many fisherman and food stalls. Trips to other beaches, snorkling, etc were arranged by the hotel. Be sure to ask for a boat ride to be arranged, you'll be able to see the Pitons from the water side. I'll close by saying that this is a pretty unique place - a hotel that feels very connected to its location. Some people might want might want a more generic resort style vacation, that's more isolated and removed from its surroundings... there are other options for those people. For us though, this was perfection.

Nice resort but lots of room to grow The views are stunning and the main draw of the resort. The staff friendly, always smiling and happy to help. The rooms were a good size, with a balcony and jacuzzi. Very close to the town and beach. Local people were friendly without being overbearing. Above is all the positives we can muster! The WiFi is almost non existent which is a constant frustration. The food choice is limited - we had continental breakfast everyday, you are charged extra for basic hot food like eggs… no meat options like bacon or sausages. We ordered burger and chips for lunch once and they substituted chips for salad. Salad! It would be a good idea to have a snack menu for guests chilling at the resort during the day. The furniture broke multiple times, two old deck chairs they assured me were brand new broke from underneath me; the second time almost impaled by rusty nails. The lifeguards ring (which is extremely heavy) fell onto my head and wife’s back one day as we sat by the pool. A plank of wood holding mosquito netting broke swinging from height smashing into my temple and again onto my wife’s back. They were so apologetic and offered me a free drink…. Concussion vs gin and tonic! Mosquitoes are a major problem given it is in a literal jungle on the side of a cliff with a million slippery concrete stairs between the pool, bar and the room. The stairs are not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The shower water pressure wasn’t great or immediately hot. I was surprised they gave us the full bill at the end (given the many accidents we faced) and asked how our stay was. Any reasonable establishment/ manager would have offered discount / refund. Again the main staff were lovely. By name Britney, Joy, Tessan, Tim, barman (forgotten his name) were a pleasure to deal with and always so kind and organised excursions efficiently.

In one word it's incredible! Green Fig is the best hotel that I have stayed at in all my travels. It is truly unique in its design and staff. Our first stop after a long plane ride was the spa for massages, the staff was welcoming and helped to relieve our achey muscles, many thanks to them. Michael, the manager, helped my friends and I find various activities around the island that we were interested in and devised plans to put it into action. The kitchen staff and bartenders were friendly and made amazing food as well as drinks. Wesley the hotel chef is a wizard in the kitchen. Juan and Suzanne our servers provided excellent service and lovely smiles everyday. We loved it so much so that we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel for a majority of our trip! Our rooms were wonderfully cozy as well as spacious. We stayed in building 5 on the property with a pool (one of two in the hotel) right outside our balcony, with the most incredible view. The main pool was also well used by my friends and I. I will absolutely be recommending this hotel to anyone and everyone that will listen! As well as be visiting again soon!

So Grateful We Found Green Fig! Words can’t express my gratitude for the amazing 5 day vacation my boyfriend and I had. It was our first time traveling outside of the country together so I had a lot of questions. Michael, the manager, was incredibly kind and he made us feel great about our trip before we even got to St. Lucia. He always responds quickly and is happy to help in any way. The resort is STUNNING. It’s in a perfect location because it’s less than 20 minutes away from all of the most beautiful nature spots that we wanted to see. (See pics.) We could see The Piton from our big balcony, which had a private outdoor shower! What stood out most for us was the warm and selfless nature of the staff. They truly went above and beyond for us. I have many examples: I’m vegan, and they had many food options, but they also went and got plant based meat because they overheard me talking about how good my boyfriend’s burger looked. I didn’t even have to ask. They were on it. We wanted to climb The Petit Piton (the more difficult one) so we asked the staff where we could buy a backpack to fill up with water bottles and snacks. Two of the bartenders, Denzel and Suzanne, literally handed us the backpacks that they brought to work, knowing they would get dirty, just so we didn’t have to go buy new ones. Then Michael filled them up with water bottles for us. Sugar Beach (5-10 min drive from Green Fig) is a BEAUTIFUL white sand beach right in between The Pitons but it was “impossible” to access by car because the resort was under renovation. You had to take a boat taxi and locals were charging $100 per person. Our breakfast waitress, Juan, made one phone call to her friend who worked security at the resort and they let us drive in for free. We had almost the entire beach to ourselves. There were so many instances like these. So I highly recommend Green Fig if you want to experience a perfect blend of a luxurious getaway and an authentic, adventurous, “islander” experience.

A hotel everyone needs to stay at! Green Fig is a stunning boutique hotel nested in the hillside in Soufriere. It has breathe-taking views of the colorful town and the Petite Piton. I can't even begin to explain the kindness and caring shown to us by the staff there when I visited with my two best friends. Susanne and Juan were incredible waitresses, who's bright smiles we looked forward to every day. Wesley cooked us meals that are typical to St Lucia, and we loved that because we were very interested in the culture there. His food was FANTASTIC. Michael, the manager was constantly looking out for us and helping us with everything from finding the best places to eat in town to getting us extra towels and whatever else we needed. Lee and Denzel made us many incredible drinks at the bar as well. The hotel has security guards 24/7 at every entrance and there wasn't a time when I didn't feel completely safe. The property itself is beautiful, and being there you feel like you're almost a part of the surrounding jungle. One thing that I especially valued about this hotel was their concern with the environment. They have energy saving air conditioners in the AC rooms, they use only paper straws and cloth napkins, and they also use soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the bathrooms to reduce their plastic waste. I was truly impressed. This hotel appeals to guests of all ages and origins, and I will DEFINITELY be coming back. One thing to note, is that the whole hotel is open air and there are no indoor spaces, so masks were not required.

Perfect Getaway! Best Stay, with the most gorgeous view of Soufrière, St. Lucia The Green Fig resort was an amazing experience! When we arrived, my girlfriend and I were shocked with the beauty of the resort. Located on the side of a mountain, it faces the beautiful Pitons and beach city of soufrière which is just a 10-15 min walk away. We met Michael, the manager, who was so kind and he showed us our rooms which were just as magnificent as the view! The rooms are very comfortable and clean, with a feeling of serenity and peace. Perfect for couples, and with more than enough space for families too. The walk to the large pool (there are 2) was surreal with a spectacular walkway and a treehouse (my favorite part) along the way! To add on to the beauty of the resort, we had a couples massage done by Touch Tranquility at the resort. Honestly, the best hour of my life, it felt like heaven. We met Tessa (manager of spa services) and her team was very nice and did a great job! I can’t wait to return to the green fig resort and bring my family and friends to share the experience with. See you next year Green Fig!

Stay here! Had the most amazing and relaxing time at the Green Fig Resort. The view of course is unmatched and will take your breath away. The staff and managers are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The Green Fig has a special charm and a boutique, luxury feel. The extra touches: tree house deck, shallow sunbathing deck on the pool, fresh fruit breakfasts, were just the icing on the cake. Will return!

Incredible Hidden Gem Don't be fooled by the low level of reviews - the property has just opened a couple of months ago, and you'd be lucky to be one of the first people to stay there! It's such a unique location, hidden from everything, but with incredible views of the Piton. Our favorite feature was being able to have our meals at the treehouse! All meals are delicious and the staff is incredible friendly and attentive. We stayed at one of the famous all inclusives up north, and if that's your type of vacation this is likely not the place for you. However, moving to this hotel changed our entire vacation (for the better!), and the relaxed and bohemian vibe was far more our style. Enjoy this stay, especially for this price!
