Litterly the best breakfast I've ever tasted. Can not wait to get back there for another full Cornish and one of Amy's coffee's made to perfection. 👌 Top class

Great breakfasts and although not cheap it is good value. Definitely worth a treat once in a while as you couldn't eat this stuff everyday anyway as it's BIG and defiantly not low calorie... Things like the grilled cherry tomatoes instead of the tinned stuff you would get elsewhere set this apart.

Had breakfast here this morning with my son, after reading the reviews. What can I say. Absolutely superb. Cooked to order. Fresh. Hot. Pleasure to eat. Seriously tasty. Super friendy. Will be back again. Great service guys. 5 stars all day. Oh yeh, my son works in the industry

What a find this place was had the breakfast stack it was the best sandwich I have had my wife had a bacon and tomato roll the tomato’s were fantastic highly recommend this place very friendly staff

Can't knock there breakfast and there italian club is amazing (yes i had two meals to myself) defo worth the travel only thing that would of made it better is if it was closer to the sea so u could eat it with a sea view.

Had my first Gridl experience this morning and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was as good as, if not better, than I had imagined it would be after seeing so many pictures of these masterpieces online! This was hands down the single best breakfast I've ever had in my life. It was absolutely divine every item cooked to perfection using the highest quality ingredients! The juiciest moistest most succulent sausages! The best smoked bacon I've ever had. The hash browns I know are cooked from frozen but still a very good crispy hash browns. The eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms all looked very nicely cooked although I don't like them so gave them to my missus. She absolutely loved them though and is in agreement it's the best breakfast she's ever had. Even the beans and the toast were exceptional and the star of the show which probably belongs nowhere near a breakfast but was outrageously delicious was the jerk seasoned halloumi! What a brilliant idea absolutely unbelievable flavour. I cannot fault the food at all every single detail was truly perfect. I do have a slight gripe though and it is unfortunate but genuine and for that reason I can't leave a 5star.. but its by no means a 4 out of 5 star. I wish I could leave a 4 and 8/10ths star because this a 4.9 out of 5 experience for me. The only slight critique I have is I wish there was a build your own box option. Personally I'm not a big fan of a few options and I think you should be able to build a breakfast from scratch to order or swap items for other items of the same value or sacrifice a couple of items for an extra item of more value. This was the most expensive breakfast I've ever had at £15ish and I don't particularly like as I mentioned above some items such as the egg, tomatoes, mushrooms or black pudding. When you're paying 15 quid a breakfast you shouldn't have to spend an additional few quid replacing items you don't want. I'd have happily replaced the egg for another bacon or mushrooms and tomatoes for an extra sausage or couple of hash browns. Mine and my partners 2 breakfasts and 2 teas came to £33 which is a lot of money and I believe a build your own box style offer may have been slightly cheaper and better value for money. Maybe something to consider? We also originally tried to order through the Gridl website and it said many items were out of stock, but they were actually available when we ordered at the van. Also I had to wait about 25 minutes for breakfast which is absolutely fine I don't mind waiting for such excellent quality, they're obviously extremely popular and busy due to the incredible food they serve, but I did finish my brew whilst waiting and it may have been a nice touch to offer a fresh one to take when the food was ready to help wash it down. All in all a 9.9/10 experience.

Gridl was anazing the abswer the phone quickly there breakfast is one of a kind and they have great milkshakes and the people are very nice and kind

Amazing! This did not disappoint. Food was very good and the service matched it. Me and my wife got a Gridl breakfast and the caramel iced latte and they were both unreal. I have went to other established breakfast cafes and they haven't been half as good as this. Will be visiting again next time I'm down in Newquay. Thank you guys!

Saw this place on a locals page.. pictures looked amazing.. had to go.. got there Sunday morning was nice and quite but the couple working were lovely. The food was amazing. Good sausages and quality hogs pudding

Saw the pictures of the food from an Instagram post and thought I had to try it out while I’m down in Newquay on holiday! It did not disappoint one bit! We ordered the Gridl breakfast and the breakfast wrap and both went down incredibly well! The staff were extremely nice and the atmosphere was great too (especially if you like Red Hot Chilli Peppers!). Next time I’m holidaying in Newquay I’m definitely going to be stopping here again and it’s a 10/10 would recommend to any of my mates!
