On July 26th we discovered a pipe was leaking in my attic. The leaky pipe led to mold, mold remediation, holes in the walls, no floor...it 's been horrible. This has been one of the worse experiences I've had as a home owner. In the midst of all of the disaster came Grunt Works Construction. They were contracted to complete my en suite bathroom. They finished on budget and on time (I'm still waiting for the other contractors...that's another story). I can not speak highly enough of my experience with Grunt Works, specifically Jose and Albert. Yes, they were professional and did quality work. But, more than that they were compassionate, patient, and helped ease all of my frustrations. They went above and beyond the call of duty, answered every question, laughed at my corny jokes, picked up items from Home Depot for me, were patient when I cried about the process of navigating insurance company (on more than one occasion), and generally made their part of a stressful experience smooth. If you are looking for a quality, honest, skilled company I highly recommend Grunt Works Construction. Thank you Albert & Jose, I appreciate you more than you'll ever know.

Grunt Works Construction took care of my grandparent's plumbing issue swiftly and were incredibly kind and informative throughout the process. Not only did they take care of the issue, but the gentleman (I cannot remember his name) went out of his way to run to Home Depot to retrieve an additional part that was needed to complete the job. My grandparents and I are incredibly grateful and will solely utilize Grunt Works Construction for our home needs from here on out!

We just bought our house and are new to the neighborhood. I never used the home depot referral program before but I had some projects that were out of my scope. The team at Gruntworks construction ,in a day was on-site giving an estimate. They are very professional, on time, look good, and clean up after the work completion. Top notch in my book and are now my go to guys up here in grass valley. Veteran owned a plus and it shows in their attention to detail, value and pride in ownership. am a homeowner in the North State. Everyone knows the hardship Butte County has suffered. I have not lost my home, but still had construction work. So many contractors are busy. That is the backdrop of my connection to Gruntworks. From their travel distance, Gruntworks came to review my project, and gave me an acceptable bid. Once here, they were professional with clear objectives and exceptional craftsmanship (Vinyl floors and cabinet installation). They finished in the expected time and cleaned up. My future construction goals are to complete them with Gruntworks. Also, I will add that I am a disabled female Army Veteran and Gruntworks are ran by Veterans.

I was 5 months without being able to use my dryer because every time I turned it on it triggered my garage sub panel to go out. I have friends who do construction. I tried a few things to no avail. Jose and Alberto came out, promptly, discovered the problem, and fixed it. They are personable, competent, and delightful.

We got wood panels in the living room wall and also installed shower doors. Jose and Albert did an amazing job. Would love to have them do more work for me. Stayed on schedule and cost as estimate.

We hired Albert to install and wire 4 ceiling fans in bedrooms in our new home, evidently overhead lighting in bedrooms is not a " thing" any longer. He installed the 4 fans w/ lights and the the appropriate dual control switches that didn't exist before the installation. Albert also installed a very heavy lightning fixture over our dining room table where only can lighting existed before. All of this plus some difficult outside wiring was done professionally and on time . Grunt works showed up on time and ready to work! My wife stayed happy and enjoyed the positive attitude as well as their clean and neat work habits. I appreciate their attention to detail and very reasonable rates. Should you find yourself in need of a top notch construction company, I would highly recommend Grunt Works Construction! ( Also a Veteran owned business)
