My girlfriend and I stayed here over a beautiful October weekend to do some leaf-peeping and related fall activities in the Berkshires. We had a very nice stay in the Mountain Air room. Brandi was extremely accommodating and helpful, offering vegan breakfast options in the morning and vegan baked goods in the afternoon (both by special request). She was full of thoughtful recommendations for sights, activities and restaurants in the area, which made building an itinerary so much easier and less stressful. It's clear that she's well acquainted with the Berkshires and all they have to offer. Our room (Mountain Air) was great. There was a TV with Wi-Fi access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime, Hulu, etc. The bathroom had a tub/shower with modern features. The walls between floors/rooms were a bit thin and it wasn't hard to hear outside conversations from guests in neighboring rooms, but sometimes that is unavoidable in older buildings. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. Breakfast was offered at 8:30 AM at a communal table-- be ready to sit with other guests and converse with them as part of the shared experience! The breakfast options we had were very tasty and filling. Baked goods were offered as afternoon snacks with coffee, tea and water on demand. The grounds and surrounding area are absolutely stunning, especially with the foliage ongoing. There is a beautiful (separate and private) farm behind the property that was easy to gaze at. I would recommend this B&B to outgoing, sociable couples looking for a base camp situated in a quieter section of the Berkshires while still remaining accessible to many sights and amenities.

Highly recommended. The house is spotless and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast and treats are excellent. The hostess is very thoughtful and attentive to guest's needs. We stayed here two years in a row while attending the FreshGrass Music festival. We plan to stay here for future festivals. We recommend the Harbour House Inn to family and friends traveling through this part of Massachusetts.

We were visiting the Berkshires for a wedding and only stayed one night (wished we could have stayed longer!). Brandi was so warm and welcoming. We loved our room. The house and the surrounding property was like from a storybook. We loved every minute of it and would absolutely come back if we’re ever in the area again.

Absolute gem of a place to stay in Cheshire!

Photos don’t do any justice! I grew up in the Berkshires stayed here because I was back for a wedding. It was stunning - so clean, so spacious and so much charm. Brandi is also an excellent cook, and breakfast was delightful! This will be our new go-to place to stay whenever I’m visiting family back in the Berkshires!

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for providing an incredible weekend for Eileen and me. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. And let's not forget about the delightful snacks that were always available. The inn itself offered various areas where we could relax, including a cozy porch and two inviting sitting areas for guests. Despite the presence of other guests, these spaces still felt open and inviting. However, the true highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of our innkeepers, Brandi, Billie, and Darrell. They went above and beyond to ensure that we felt more like cherished friends than mere guests. Their genuine warmth and care made it clear that they were not simply doing a job, but rather sharing their authentic selves effortlessly.

We both loved every moment at this beautiful, spotless and historic B&B. Hosts Brandi and Darrel were warm and welcoming, and we greatly enjoyed chatting with them. The room was absolutely lovely, the location is central to a diverse range of activities, and the hosts know a lot about what there is to do and see. The homemade snacks and breakfast were delicious, and Brandi went out of her way to accommodate the dietary needs we noted when we made the reservation. The common areas of the B&B are comfortable and spacious, and they are stocked with books, games and other fun diversions. We had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency, so we can't wait to come back again to fully enjoy this gem of an inn and its excellent hosts. We highly recommend Harbour House Inn for your time away in the Berkshires!

Harbour House was a delightful rest stop for our family before starting a two day hike on the Appalachian Trail (Cheshire-Mt. Greylock-N. Adams). The rooms are beautifully decorated, the beds plush and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The owner provided helpful advice for getting a taxi ride back from North Adams, where we needed to leave our car for the end of our trek. I wish we could have stayed another day to see Mass MoCA and other sights. Next time!

Beautiful old home with well appointed rooms. Incredible service and breakfast. The setting and grounds are lovely. It was a perfect respite after a hard day on the trail.

Our stay at Harbour House Inn was great! I had arranged a weekend away for my wife's birthday and this was the perfect place. Nicely located in the Berkshires, convenient to many things. We like to hike so Mt. Greylock wasn't very far. Our room was very nice, plenty of room. Brandi was a great hostess who was friendly, attentive and very accommodating. The breakfasts created by Brandi and Billie both mornings were absolutely delicious. They took the time to create gluten free meals which was very appreciated. The treats in the afternoon were perfect after a day of hiking! The conversations with Brandi, Darrel and Billie were engaging. We always love to talk to the hosts to learn more about their home and lives. If in the area again, will stay there again. Definitely recommend!

My father and I had a wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were so accommodating. I look forward to staying here many more times in the future.

Really lovely B&B! A beautiful building with tastefully outfitted rooms and comfortable public spaces. We enjoyed perusing the book collection and chatting with the family that runs the property. Breakfast was delicious. The location is convenient to the nearby nature and bike paths. Would absolutely stay again.

My wife and I loved our recent (Oct 2021) stay at the Harbour House Inn. It’s a well-maintained colonial era B&B at the foot of Mount Greylock in the Northern Berkshires. We stayed in the ‘Field of Dreams’ room on the first floor, which was large and had a nicely updated bathroom. The room and common areas were incredibly clean with plenty of amenities. The family operating the inn was friendly, accommodating, and served delicious homemade breakfasts. We would gladly book again!

A beautiful property with wonderful hosts who know how to make guests feel welcome. The nightly baked goods were wonderful and breakfast delicious. Would definitely stay when visiting the area again.

Charming staff and home baked treats. Wonderful family recently moved from Colorado are a great addition to the Berkshires. Great house, well located, not far from Tanglewood. Very clean place and friendly folks!
