After using Piece of Cake movers for 4 different moves here in Manhattan over the past few years, the latest estimate was double what it had been in all of our past moves (with no major changes to our inventory). We decided to go with Heart Moving after being reassured from Ana White - the senior consultant. They gave us a competitive rate for our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom move. The crew showed up on time & was very kind. They moved quickly to get our property loaded into the truck. I will say that they weren't as thorough in wrapping our large TVS (one was 83" & the other was 65"). Piece of Cake had a team build a wooden box that would protect the screens. On the other hand, Heart Moving pieced together boxes to create a large box that would transport both TVs. I want to point out there was *no* damage to our TVs, but I was a little concerned since we've seen how extremely careful Piece of Cake was with our property in the past. At one point, Heart Moving broke a large piece of glass that went on top of an entertainment console. I alerted Ana & she was quick to get this replaced. The customer service was exceptional, so I had to give them 4 stars because they wanted to make it right. The crew did knock a small hole into a headboard of one of the beds & also knocked a chunk out of a nightstand. I told Ana we feel like that kind of damage is bound to happen at times, so we didn't ask for those to be replaced. However, Piece of Cake never damaged any of our property in the 4 different moves we had with them in the past. Overall - I'd recommend Heart Moving, but I'd definitely keep an eye on the crew to make sure they're packing your things properly & also making sure not to bump into your property. There were a few times when they were not extremely careful with some of our framed pictures & knocked them over. They didn't break & it didn't cause any damage, but if they were larger, they definitely would've broken.

Heart Moving did a great job for us on a local move. The move was from two locations (in Brooklyn and Manhattan) to another location in Manhattan. They carried everything up four narrow flights of stairs to a fifth floor apartment. The movers were on time, polite, cheerful, efficient, and careful. Jane at their office was polite and patient. She told us a flat rate in advance, and there were no surprises. The price was was excellent. I am very impressed! I plan to use them for our next move.

Great service great move will definitely use them again. Jane was very sweet. She had everything done on time.

I planned to give a 5 but later I am not happy with the way I was treated. 1. When discussing the moving date, the sales didn't talk about time with me. I was occupied with too many things so I got the impression that I had told them the time. The sales never asked me to confirm the time. Only on the day before the moving day I was told that they would move in the morning. But both elevators for the move-out and move-in buildings were reserved in the afternoon. That made the moving take much longer than expected because we had to share the elevators with other movers. 2. The moving process was fine. They did a good job and helped me get rid of the very heavy furniture I no longer needed. 3. When moving into the new apartment, they were in a hurry to leave. While I understood it, I was not happy that they left almost immediately without helping assembling all my furniture and placing them at the place I wanted, after they got their tips and recorded the feedback video. I have to wait until my friend have time to help me. 4. They didn't let me check the moving truck before leaving. I trusted them, and I was really exhausted with moving afterward. But after that I found that I couldn't find a box of my shoes, which is worth about $200. I called them but the only thing they said was "They didn't find anything on the truck". Overall, they did the moving pretty efficiently. But according to my personal experience, I won't give them a high score.

Heart moving was a life saver for my daughter. out of all the companies contacted they were the only ones to agree and help us move one heavy appliance to another location on one days notice. Paulina was great making the arrangements for me she was in constant communication and always pleasant to speak with. The guys with the muscles (movers) were also polite and friendly came on time and were very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone just based on the customer service alone. I had a great experience with Heart Moving. Amazing and professional staff and service, always on top of their game, responsive and caring. The movers were very nice. They packed all the items with care and helped me to unpack them upon delivery. Everything went smoothly and Ana has been checking in prior the move and during. I have also stored my items with them and got a good value for the storage. This will always help my go to company to use in the future.
