Wij zaten in een grote nachtmerrie toen mijn partner in het ziekenhuis in Frankrijk terecht kwam. Wij wilde hem zo snel mogelijk overplaatsen naar het ziekenhuis in Nederland. EMS heeft geregeld dat hij diezelfde dag nog over kon naar Nederland. Onwijs dankbaar voor dit kundige werk. 2 professionele medewerkers kwamen ons ophalen. Fantastisch werk hebben deze afgeleverd. Goed lopend bedrijf, goede communicatie en betrokkenheid. Ik zou dit bedrijf 100% aanbevelen.

While we did not end up using EMS because our Health Insurance ended up approving an Air Ambulance, EMS was great.

From the moment I contacted EMS from South Africa, all my questions were answered...I was put at ease with all the arrangements that were put in place, received regular updates via email and WhatsApp. The gentleman that kept me updated telephonically, was very patient with me, answering my questions, put my mind at ease in a extremely stressful and panicked situation. I cannot thank EMS enough for the support they gave our family when we had to arrange repatriation for my Dad to get back to the UK. When they said they would deal with everything - believe it - as they did! From contacting the hospital in France to the one in the UK, to keeping us updated every step of the way, EMS were brilliant. EMS Air Ambulance is a wonderful service for those who have traveled from home and find themselves either immobilized by pain or with a significant medical condition and need safe transport home. EMS were amazing after my mum had an accident in Croatia and broke her hip. After the insurance company refused to fly her home we found EMS who sorted everything out to get her home. The paramedic Joe met my mum and dad in Dubrovnik hospital, he was very kind, knowledgeable and professional and understood the stressful situation and made them feel as ease. Whilest in Turkey on holiday my husband suffered a heart atttack, i contacted EMS Air Ambulance & Medical Repatriation by phone while there and they arranged everything for us to return home to the Uk for the treatment he needed. If im honest i was a little worried i may have been scamed, we had just paid out alot of money to a company i have very little knowlage of and had just quickly googled medical repatriation on the chance they would help us in our time of need, there was alot of trust that they was lagitimate company and not a con, and thankfully they was everyrhing i hoped for. I can't find fort with the service they provided from transport from our hotel in turkey to the airport through the flight and transport from the airport to our local hospital in the uk. Our Nurse who traveled with us was so calm and profetional at all time she put us both at ease from the very beginning. I cant thank everyone involved in making this happen so fast, from the first call to being home took just over 24 hours, we are both so greatful.

Bij een ongelukje brak mijn vrouw haar heup. In het ziekenhuis in Kroatië waren de omstandigheden slecht. Ze drongen er op aan om vervoer te regelen. Binnen korte tijd kon dat door EMS geregeld worden. De begeleiding was super. Van ziekenhuis in Kroatië tot aan het ziekenhuis in Nederland zijn we erg goed verzorgd. Als u in nood bent in buitenland kunnen wij deze organisatie aan u aanbevelen.

Onze Dochter heeft een zwaar auto - trein ongeluk gehad met 5 van haar vrienden, waarvan 1 is overleden op haar vakantie in Portugal. Ze lag in het ziekenhuis in Portugal. Wij zijn heel erg geschrokken van de situatie en zijn erheen gegaan. Na de operatie en enig herstel van onze dochter, zou het nog lang duren voordat ze naar huis kon met een normale vlucht. Wij hebben toen besloten om haar naar Nederland te halen. Wij hebben gezocht op onze telefoon ( hadden niks anders ) en de service van EMS Ambulance gevonden. Grondig de info bestudeerd op de site, filmpje gekeken. Elkaar aangekeken en gezegd: dit doen we. Het gaf ons veel vertrouwen wat we zagen op de site, duidelijke en eerlijke informatie, en na het eerste contact wisten we dat dit goed zou aflopen. Het was een geregel en over en weer contact, bellen, appen, e-mailen, het kan allemaal. Informatie komt altijd goed aan bij hun, wie je ook op dat moment aan de lijn hebt, en dat is een heel fijn en geruststellend gevoel in een situatie als dit. Toen de ambulance na een paar dagen aankwam in Portugal viel een last van mijn schouders. Het komt goed dacht ik bij mezelf. Ze hebben onze dochter goed overgenomen, goed vervoerd en goed afgeleverd. Ambulance personeel zeer kundig en professioneel en heel erg begaan met de patient en ook met de naasten van de patient. Ook de mensen achter de telefoon bij EMS-247 zijn dat. Ze weten in wat voor situatie je bent, bezorgd, gespannen, onzeker. Hier ben ik ook zeer tevreden over. Ze ontzorgen, echt. Alleen maar complimenten.

While on vacation in Greece from the USA, my wife fell into septic shock and was admitted into a hospital outside of Athens. She remained in a medical coma for 12 days fighting for her life. My immediate goal was to get her back to Los Angeles for more acute health care and surround her with a team of physicians to help her survive and ultimately recover. When I contacted EMS, i was distraught yet they were prompt, professional, calming and within hours of a medical consult, were on the case. They performed ongoing scheduled medical consultations with the ICU doctors on the ground in Athens, and provided me with daily updates on progress and setbacks leading up to our eventual departure. There were setbacks and delays - which were frustrating (and costly so read the fine print). Once stable and cleared to go - EMS acted swiftly & methodically and arranged ALL aspects of the repatriation from the plane, crew, flight doctors and nurses, ground crew, flight plans & customs. Once the green light was given - EMS sprung into action! Although sometimes the logistical communication was a bit lax, the end result was she got home, and is recovering nicely. It's fair to say that without the staff at EMS, my family may have suffered a different outcome.

Wij hebben 30 K betaald voor repatriëring uit Polen van onze zoon die daar niet geholpen kan worden daarbij is spoedige operatie van groot belang. We hebben naar 48uur nog geen zich op transport uit Polen. Er wordt veel beloofd, eerst contact met Nederlandse arts maar naar overmaken van het geld blijft het stil. Daarna kun je zelf er achteraan en krijgt een judrische onderlegde medewerker aan de lijn die alleen maar zegt waarom ze iets niet kunnen. Ze bellen ook niet naar het ziekenhuis in het buitenland. Uitstel na uitstel geven ook geen duidelijkheid over wat er nog nodig is op over te gaan tot transport, zelf de medische dossier aangeleverd daarna nog geen duidelijkheid. Arts krijg je niet meer te spreken. Ik voel me gewoon bedrogen! Nog wachtend op een plan.

Beste EMS heel erg bedank voor jullie snelle hulp mijn vader is al weer een heel eind de oude. Hier ons verhaal waar we hopelijk veel mensen mee helpen: Mijn vader heeft anderhalve week voor de hulp van EMS een hersenbloeding gehad in Spanje hier is hij in eerste instantie goed geholpen. Maar doordat hij de taal niet spreekt en de verpleeging geen Nederlands spreekt was dat het eerste wat heel moeilijk was, waarbij ook zijn geheugen hem in de steek liet op dat moment werd hij vastgebonden op bed (zweedseband en polsen). Na 4 dagen gaf de arts van het Spaanse ziekenhuis aan dat hij per ambulance naar Nederland mocht. Hierop hebben wij de zorgverzekering ingeschakeld welke de ANWB opdracht hebben gegeven om mijn vader naar Nederland te halen maar deze oordeelde dat dat nog niet kon en na diverse medische rapporten van het het ziekenhuis waar in stond dat het wel kon dit toch niet deden. inmiddeld 4 dagen later kregen we te horen dat ze een week gingen wachten met beoordelen waarna het zeker nog 4 dagen zou duren voor hij dan thuis was. Toen was het voor ons genoeg en zijn we gaan zoeken en hebben we EMS gevonden en dit geloof je niet om 11:00uur eerste contact gehad waarna we alle papieren hebben ingevuld en regelmatig contact heb gehad en op de hoogte zijn gehouden over de voortgang. Om 21:00uur was alles geregeld, met het ziekenhuis in Spanje, ze hadden plek gevonden in ons voorkeursziekenhuis in Nederland en er waren medische gegevens opgevraag van hem bij andere ziekenhuizen. Om 9:00uur de volgende dag zou de ambulance hem ophalen in het ziekenhuis in Spanje. Om 9:00uur de volgende dag stond EMS netjes in het ziekenhuis met een Arts en 2 chaufeurs. mijn vader in de ambulance en ik kon ook mee met hem wat heel fijn was. Er werdt onderweg netjes gestopt op verschillende momenten om te eten wat ook voor mijn vader en mij was geregeld en na de lange rit waren we om 23:30 bij het ziekenhuis in Nederland. Bedankt EMS namens de familie van Gaal zij we jullie heel erg dankbaar, als het aan de ANWB had gelegen had hij nog minimaal anderhalve week vasgebonden gelegen.

After fracturing my right thigh bone in Aix-en- Provence, France, I decided the repair surgery should be done in New York where I live. In great pain, I needed direct hospital to hospital repatriation to the U.S. EMS quickly put together the private air transportation and medical crew needed to accomplish the task. I needed hydration during the flight, and the medical crew was ready for that. The hospital in NY was ready to receive me, with the medical crew having pre-checked me in. My family travelled with me in comfort and safety. Make no mistake, this is a cash-in-advance service at a hefty price, but under the stress of moment, well worth the price.

I didn't want to be operated in a french village where only the chirurg talked a bit English, but everyone lower on the staff was only able to communicate in french. I became for 2 day's a very very painful treatment in how to position the bed on eating, how to move the patient, how to wash the patient, and so on...) because no empathy on my injury (femur neck is broken) was respected. EMS transported me with an ambulance over 500 km from Bed2Bed with literally no pain, I even slept almost 200 kilometers on there high standard brancard equipment.
