My hire experience with Herd Hire was fabulous! I needed a Luton tail lift at short notice, which they had available. The service was impeccable, super friendly and extremely reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone needing to hire a van!

After being let down by Europcar and Hertz (the latter with 5 mins notice before collection) it's fair to say I was a bit stressed when I got to Herd. After a cheery welcome and confirmation of my booking I knew I was in good hands. Herd's friendly no-nonsence approach is just what you want, no extras for this, or payments for that, it's all just straightforwards. We walked round the van any dents or dings were pointed out and noted and off I went in a clean new van. Good price, good service – now it's the first company I'll try when I need a van in the future.

Once again, herd saves the day. This time a last minute booking as our original vehicle wasn’t fit for the journey ahead. A call to the team and as you would expect from them it was sorted in Quick time. Excellent service from collection to drop off. Hired a VE Crafter for 24 hours. Price was the best I could find locally by a mile. On collection van was clean inside and out, no dents or defects 👍 Hire process was carried out online and was very easy to do. When you collect all you need is your driving licence, NI No and a separate proof of address. Excess mileage price is low which is also good. Overall an excellent service and I would certainly use again and recommend.

Great service! Hired the Rhino size van. Supplied with amazing brand new VW van, drove about 2000 miles fully loaded, very smooth, economical drive. Plus best price I could find in the area. Can't recommend them enough.
