My Mom has lived at the Heritage House for a little over a year now. Mom has adjusted well and is truly happy. The staff and management go above and beyond to make the residents happy and comfortable. The care my Mom has received has exceeded my expectations. Her room is spacious and just right for her. Heritage house provides cleaning and laundry service weekly. She is served three good home cooked meals a day. There is daily activities, exercise classes, bingo twice a week and so much more. Mom has made wonderful friendships with the residents and the care staff as well. They also do bus trips one or two times a week to stores, restaurants, seeing Christmas lights, concerts and more. Its a nice way for the residents to get out and do something fun. There is a wonderful library, activity room and a hair salon. My Mother In Law also recently moved into the Heritage House. While moving in, we left the door open and many residents stopped by and welcomed her. The staff was so helpful with any questions we had. We left that night after moving her in and seeing the smile on her face how happy she was to be there. I would highly recommend the Heritage House to anyone looking for a place for their parents. Both my Mom and Mother In Law are happy and I can't ask for anything more.

We love seeing the pictures of David and all the residents on Facebook. I know the great variety of activities available are appreciated by all.

Our Mom has been at Herritage House for over a year and she is very happy there! She really enjoys all the activities and social get togethers offered almost every day. They even have a van to take the residents out for day trips!

Our loved one recently moved to the Heritage House. We are extremely pleased with his apartment and the assistance the staff are providing. They are attentive, friendly and extremely professional. They made the transition welcoming and easy.

I highly recommend Heritage House. My Mom recently moved in after my Dads passing. From day one of touring the facilities I have been nothing but happy for the care my Mom receives. The apartments are nice and spacious, the three meals provided are good. You can tell how much the employees love their jobs, they are friendly, compassionate and caring. There are daily crafts, activities and bus tours to keep the residents busy. I'm so happy my Mom is happy. This place is the best if you are looking for a place for your parents to reside.

Heritage House is staffed with kind and caring caregivers. Management goes above and beyond to meet the needs of residents. The facility and rooms are large, beautiful, and kept up well. Each room has its own bathroom (including shower) and kitchenette. They offer fun gatherings and activities for residents to socialize and connect. Would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Heritage House is great place to not only work but for your loved ones. Staff is compassionate and caring, always has great meals and clean facility.

When my mother moved to Heritage House, she didn't think she would like taking part in activities. Four years later, she has FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). If she's not in her apartment when family comes to visit, we know to look for her in the Activity Room or by the fireplace with her lady-friends.

I am so impressed with the Heritage house of Portage. The staff is outstanding! They answer and questions or concerns we have in a timely manner. The facility just feels like home and is very tidy. They have so many awesome activities for the residents. 10/10

My parents have lived here for six months. The staff is very caring and always upbeat. They constantly rave about the meals. The facility is well kept and clean. From the staff to the facilities I can't say enough good things about Heritage House.Thank you to the staff for making this an easy transition.

My 90 year old grandparents moved to Heritage house in February 2022 so they could have assistance with meals and housekeeping. After a month at Heritage my grandparents are back up to their goal weight and healthy. Staff is always helpful and friendly. I would recommend Heritage house to anyone who needs more assistance due to aging issues.

My mom was a resident at Heritage House for many years. Having her own apartment where she could bring her own furniture and decorations from home really helped with the transition to assisted living. The staff was always great to work with and took wonderful care of my mom.

Our mother has been at this facility for 6 years now. Our family is impressed with the whole facilities cleanliness and the staff has always been very helpful with our mothers needs. When we have questions, the staff there always goes out of there way to assist us in any way. My Aunt lived at Heritage House several years ago. For this reason I decided to look there for my mother’s care. And I was not disappointed. I also have to mention that the current management is absolutely top notch. Caring. Knowledgeable. Dedicated. The facility has undergone some necessary renovations. And it looks beautiful! Very comfortable. Heritage House offers so many options for residents. There is a wonderful library, activity room, a hair salon, a theater area. The residents are served three home cooked meals a day. There are scheduled day trips every Thursday via a bus. Housekeeping and laundry duties are completed weekly by staff members. The residents quarters are nice size, safe, cozy. There are additional areas to visit with new friends or your own family. I cannot say enough about this facility! (And did I mention raised gardens AND puzzles!) I know where I am going when the time comes!

Fresh, clean and open. The entry area with cathedral ceiling and fireplace is stunning with comfortable furniture and great sunlight. Many residents sitting and chatting -- a real community feel. I had the sense that the workers formed a cohesive team that took care of the residents and each other. A gem in Portage.
