Just had the best time staying at Highball House with 15 of our friends for the Queens Long Weekend 2022. We had heating in every room, lounge room open fire and even the huge fire pit outside made the cold days so comfy. This quirky accommodation ticked all the boxes to entertain a huge number of people under the same roof. If your looking for the "Sheridan Sheet" accommodation then don't bother, but if you are looking for a homely environment then this is your place. The only thing I would change is the bathrooms. Theres 5 showers but shower heads, bench space (for make-up) needs upgrading. Overall a great way to have a very large group of people together not so far away from Sydney.

Company was great. Gathering rooms good bathrooms leave a bit to be desired. Nice grounds and good industrial kitchen.

Perfect place for a few days away with a group of friends. We love to spend the day exploring beautiful Bundanoon & Morton National Park, before cooking up a storm in the large well equipped kitchen, cracking a Magnum of red wine to share with friends around the incredible large antique dining table, capping the evening with stories by the open fire, before everyone adjourning to own comfortable bedroom. Great memories created at Highball House. Already looking forward to our next trip there.

Awesome venue for our large family get together. The house was so well equipped with everything we needed. The beautiful dining table fitted everyone to a sit down meal prepared in the enormous well appointed kitchen. The grounds were fantastic for the kids, plenty of space to run around and the table tennis table got a good workout! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Lots of sitting areas and nooks to relax and read a book away from the noisy family :). Will be back for sure!!

Such an amazing place! Went down with a bunch of friends for the weekend, lit the fire, talked until all hours of the morning and just enjoyed life. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is FULLY equipped, the rumpus room is GREAT for the kids - pool table, dart board, TV, soccer balls, tennis rackets (tennis courts a couple min away from the accommodation), and the property is a large enough for the kids to run around on. They also have plenty of bikes to explore the neighbourhood on! Highly recommended - we will be back again!

Fantastic house clean and full of establishment. Very suitable for functions and weddings

Recently spent the weekend here for a birthday turn surprise wedding. It was the most amazing venue for this momentous occasion. Everything you could possibly need, plenty of space, games room, commercial kitchen and incredible living spaces with an element of luxury. Loved this place and could not recommend enough for any occasion!

A good option for a family reunion or similar. Stunning grounds with ample room for outdoor entertainment. Interesting property with plenty of rooms to accommodate however the shared bathroom facilities are a bit sub par. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of fridges and cooking options. On the negative side, there was quite a musty smell, it did get better once we opened up the doors and windows, or we just got used to it. Despite our group ranging from a 7week old to several octogenarians, we managed to receive a visit from security due to a noise complaint at around 10pm on a Saturday night. While security were pleasant about it, it was unfounded and off putting. Meanwhile a neighbouring property full of P P Platers partied on till past 2.00 am. Note, we could barely hear their noise because the place is so big, the trains are far noisier and will get your attention. There is clearly some neighbourhood tension between properties and I think they need to find a better solution than spurious complaints. If you are aware of the issues and keen to stay, you should have a great experience. It is a fascinating place and perfect for old school family fun.

Claudia's attention to detail and all round care and consideration of our needs - outstanding. The place is good value for money and we had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend both the location and Highball House. “Great & spacious ”; “Perfect” and “Beautiful place”.

Just spent the weekend here for a hens night away and what a house! Very impressed with the layout and facilities - great bar area, commercial kitchen, bbq area, pool table, huge centre dining table and soooo many beds to pick from! Very charming décor too very cosy! We all loved it and had such a great time. This is the perfect venue for big group functions especially a wedding! Will be recommending to everyone I know! Thanks :)

Highball House ticked all our boxes brilliantly. We were trying to find that perfect place for a group winter getaway which meant we had a rather long wish list so we could please everyone. It was looking impossible until we found Highball House. Claudia made it really easy to organise everything; the house has loads of charm with plenty of space for kids and adults, the fireplaces inside and heaters in the bedrooms kept us cosy, there was a firepit outside, a games room, comfy beds, easy (flat) walk to the village, and a skateboard park and bike track close by for the kids. It was really easy to cook group meals in the kitchen and bar space, and we also had a caterer come in one night which was awesome too. Everyone loved it and we'll be back for sure! Had a wonderful wedding celebration at Highball House! The house was beautifully decorated with art, history and antique furniture. Every room was a delight and the sunroom was the perfect place for an intimate ceremony and to enjoy the view of the grounds with a cup of tea. We spent most of our time in the spacious and beautiful lounge areas playing boardgames and there was plenty of space inside and outside for children to play. The kitchen and amenities suited all the needs of the weekend. Just need to be mindful of the 10pm outdoor noise curfew; however, this is understandable to be respectful of the area but time flies when you're having fun! A perfect place for a weekend getaway for a large group no matter the weather!

Love Highball House! Perfectly beautiful interiors with a cool edge and a quiet, relaxed vibe. The lounge/drawing room with massive log fire was so, so cosey in the middle of winter - just what you need in the Southern Highlands; well, that and a big glass of red. We did take the cheese and wine to the outdoor deck though...The whole place is just so chilled. We went down with a group of mates but it would be great for weddings or wedding anniversary parties or family gatherings. Any event you want a bit of space to enjoy yourself and sets a stylish scene but isn't hard work in any way! Love it.
