Rude lady phone operator.😟

I’ve been going to McClure Macomb physicians group since 2017. The staff has always been friendly, kind and respectful. Dr. Mark Stephen is my physician. He’s a wonderful man. He always makes time for me. He does last-minute virtuous and with my schedule that is so important. He takes time with me and I’m sure he does without his patience to go over health matters…. I would recommend Mark Stephen at McLAREN McComb, physicians to anyone and everyone.

I see Dr. Neelam for my GI problems. I have no problems with him. I have issues with the people at the front desk who answer the phones. Brooke at the front desk was not friendly and was not pleasant with trying to resolve my concern. It was like she did not want to work. She placed me on hold several times and did not reach out to get answers for my concerns. Not helpful, friendly, or concerned with patients. Doctor office staff should be more pleasant and helpful, they are the Frontline to that doctor's office. If I were not a patient with Dr. Neelam already before I came across Brooke, I would have found another doctor's office.

I love Macomb the employees are nice and friendly love it

I'm taking care of my elderly neighbor, and she's swears by the Drs here. so that's good enough for me.

I Always feel uncomfortable

Made a new patient appointment to come see Dr. Matte. I took off early from work to see the doctor but when I got here I was told by the receptionist Holly that I’m not on the schedule and there’s no way I can be seen. This office is very unorganized and wasted my time. The receptionist is not very friendly either. She said “there’s 5 different receptionist here and we don’t know who would put you down at this time.” Don’t waste your time going down there if you are a new patient and need late appointment.

Dr Matte is great. She takes her time and listens and doesn’t make you feel rushed. She is very caring. She is very knowledgeable and will ask a lot of questions to find the cause of any medical issues.

Not using my real name here but I have a huge feeling every doctor in this office, or at least the 3 I've seen SERIOUSLY need to go back to school and get an entirely redone medical education. These doctors do not care, cannot find anything when you have obvious issues for years, they refer you to some of the worst specialists in the state. Don't just walk but run away from here. They turn your frustration with them against you and call it anxiety and blame all your issues on that. If you're disabled and can't work they will go out of there way to ignore you saying so. They bring up things like possibly sending you to UofM because you've had long covid for years, but then it's too much work (gathering your records) for the doctor scamming your insurance to actually do anything about instead they yell at you that they don't know anything(Diora particularly) instead they say go to another specialist, except they don't give you any info on what to do, the doctor said I should see a ENT and heart doctor(which I don't need the ENT duh) and then the nursing staff gave me the number for the front office of some random hospital. Like what in the world? They are more concerned about there next vacation to Mexico or India than they are about the health and well being of the patients they are effectively scamming. Find a new doctor you will thank yourself, this office NEEDS to be investigated for how they treat people. These are people lives and you sit there with a smirk worrying about your next vacation. Shut this office down. Don't forget if your struggling with money cause you cannot work and these doctors refuse to note it down or say you are disabled, the first thing they do after you check in is pull you aside and ask for the payment. (This is my real experience after begging for help for years since 2020 with long covid heart and breathing issues)

I’ve been calling the office for months to get ADHD medication. Every time I call it’s always about the same issue on their end that they can’t fix, they say they’ll fix it and then I find out they never did, and I have to recall. Every time I recall I’m reassured that all the problems are fixed and that everything should be ok, but I end up having to recall again because something is still messed up.

Mark Stephen is an Absolute Professional! Listens to all of my concerns, addresses them and is not hurried in the process. He is knowledgeable and articulates his diagnosis in a way that is understandable. Also very friendly and personable. His staff is also Too Notch! AL Smith ✝️

Dr Neelam at Macomb Physicians is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I’ve ever had take care of me. Dr Neelam is so comprehensive in his care that I have full confidence in his diagnosis. He is remarkable!

Doctor Stephan has been taking care of my mother and my health for 6 years now. He is one of the hardest working doctors I’ve ever known. He’s a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor, and all of his staff are wonderful. Even with the volume of patients he sees, I’ve never spent long at all waiting to be seen from the time of arrival. My mother and I got to know him after she suffered a stroke in 2017, he was her primary doctor that oversaw her care while she recovered from that in the hospital. We’ve both been seeing him ever since. In my 33 years I’ve only had two different primary care physicians. I wish more medical professionals were like Dr Stephan and his staff. Also, Doctor Neelam, the gastroenterologist that works out of the other side of the office, is wonderful as well. Very passionate and extremely intelligent man. He is a very straight forward man, very informative, he’ll take excellent care of you/your loved one if you follow his care. He’s a wonderful specialist to see if you ever have gastro issues.

Dr. Silvana Matte is the best! She will listen to your concerns and explains everything well. She genuinely cares about her patients and her care is very thorough.

I have been going to this office for 20+ years. I started with Dr. White (RIP) and now I am a patient of Mark Stephens whom I love. The staff is always polite and helpful and most importantly they make sure that you are taken well care of. I have small veins and when I have to have blood taken in this office there has never been a problem or pain. It's hard to find a good Primary care doctor and I am glad to have Dr. Stephen and the staff here. Shawnie is about her business and gets things done!!!
