Ideal Siding with Elric and the team completed a difficult and dangerous job for us by removing 2 in-wall AC units from our 2nd and 3rd floors. They replaced the holes with siding that restored my home to original condition. Price was fair and we definitely recommend this company.

Elric and his team were fantastic! We got many quotes for our involved project and his was by far the most thorough and prompt- while still being competitively priced. Elric really went the extra mile to make sure every detail was correct. His crew showed up reliably and his project leader, June, communicated effectively whenever issues arose. Both Elric and June were on site nearly every day to check in. Our 1900 Victorian now has beautifully updated Hardie Board siding, Azek trim and a fully rebuilt porch- and kept all its original charm thanks to this team's hard work and attention to detail. Their electrician and painter were fantastic to work with as well. I hired this company for a siding project at my home in Quincy, MA for about $17,700. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Within about three months after installation, multiple issues appeared. The siding became uneven and wavy, and the problems continued even after several repair attempts. Some exterior work was not properly finished, with visible gaps, inconsistent sealing, and components not installed flush to the wall. Interior-type screws were used outside and have already started to rust. I also observed improper material used to seal at least one exterior vent. Additional issues later appeared, including cracking in trim and holes in siding panels. I provided a detailed list and gave multiple chances to fix the work. Some items were acknowledged but not repaired, and I was told issues were fixed when they were not. I recommend carefully reviewing all work before final payment.

We recently hired Ideal Siding Boston to install Hardie Board exterior siding, new windows, and gutters over our garage to match the rest of our house, and the results were outstanding. From the initial consultation to final inspection, the team demonstrated true professionalism, deep product knowledge, and superior craftsmanship.
We initially had a different siding contractor (not Ideal Siding Boston) to side the main part of our house, and our experience with the old contractor was so disappointing that we chose not to have them finish the project. For that reason, we purposefully sought out a siding company that was approved and recommended by Hardie themselves to finish installing the Hardie cement board siding on our garage.
Ideal Siding Boston's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. The installation was completed on schedule, with precise workmanship that has completely transformed the exterior of our home. The Hardie Board looks beautiful and has already improved both our home’s durability and curb appeal. Ideal Siding also helped fix and address all other areas of concerns that were caused by our previous siding contractors (uncaulked areas, poorly installed boards, missing plugs, etc.). They also helped install new house numbers, a new mailbox, and new lighting fixture on our garage to help complete the look.
Communication was excellent throughout — Ryan, (our point person covering sales and service throughout entire project) answered our questions promptly and was on site almost daily to ensure things were going well. June (project manager) and the crew maintained a clean, organized worksite each day. The crew worked in our driveway and the driveway was clean every night. They laid tarps out below their work areas so that it captures the sawdust, white vinyl dust, fallen nails, and other debris. They then disposed of the construction debris so it didn’t get blown around. The crew was also incredibly hardworking and worked from 7:30AM - 6:30/7PM each day they were on site.
It’s clear that Ideal Siding Boston takes great pride in delivering high-quality results and customer satisfaction. We would highly recommend Ideal Siding Boston (paired with Ryan) to anyone considering Hardie Board exterior siding work!
