After doing a full investigation we have decided to provide a full recount of Sara’s therapy experience. Her disappointing comments are referring to other participants in her party who experienced multiple pokes and were not charged for incomplete service because they opted out of therapy. Sara witnessing her associates opt out and not have to pay still continued with her therapy and paid for her therapy after completion where she tipped the nurse. After having a change of heart she requested a refund over the phone with admin. We advised Sara that we would not refund her because she chose to continue with therapy wasting the nurses materials and showed no discrepancy with her personal treatment within duration until completion. Materials were wasted and hours were spent on a therapy she opted into regardless of unexpected events that patients consent to. We are not perfect by any means but attempts of patient abuse to receive free services is something we try to mitigate because it occurs and this is an example. If Sara opted out of therapy before it was finished she would be entitled to complimentary service which results in an interrupted therapy (discontinued). We do not charge patients before hand, we charge patients after therapy so if she was charged for therapy it’s because she opted in to continue with therapy and found the therapy satisfactory. Our nurses are independent contractors and granting refunds and free services is money out of the nurses pocket. The nurse completed the therapy in regards to the patient consent. From that point on the patient is not entitled to a refund. With that being said we apologize for the nurse not meeting your expectations but we advise patients to read the consent which educates them. It’s also worth mentioning that Sara could not produce an image of the spillage which we requested to consider a refund nor a receipt in which she claimed compensation was mandated for damaged furniture.
