Stopped by to get in some rolls while visiting family. Awesome gym, really great and welcoming staff. Very responsive to messages when I had direct messages them on Instagram. They will definitely be my place to train when visiting family.

Seems pretty welcoming for us beginners here, despite I maybe annoyed myself with my mild autism and all - though, I try to do my most best. 😂
Think I really like the gi, and that it's local for me, hence I thought I give them a try. 🤔
Quite lots of instructors(?), knowledgeable high belts people. Likewise, everyone seems nice. 😊
(There's probably few questionable comments maybe towards me - though whatever, probably just me, might be my silly autism thing, not really important, I try to focus on training... --I let that slide though. :) 👍)
No place for ego in this school, checked, I'd approved. UwU 👍 ✅

Took my nephew here for the summer. He took the Cubs classes for a month. The price was affordable and I enjoyed that the Cubs classes were everyday.
My nephew truly enjoyed the classes. Big shoutout to Coaches Cory, Alex, and Jason - very kind instructors who bring the best out of their students.

I was only there for a week for a hydraulics class, but they were great! Very welcoming! Great classes! The instructors really knew their jiu jitsu! I would recommend everyone to this place.

A Great gym with great teachers. Started with no BJJ knowledge but learned so much in just a year of training. Everyone is kind to beginners. I got alot of help from the higher ranked students as well. Sometimes they'll bring in talented guests for seminars. A good place for someone looking to learn BJJ

I visited Inverted Gear Academy while travelling to the area. Everybody I met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The instruction was great and the gym was well maintained and clean. I had a wonderful time here and will definitely go back if I'm in the area again. 5/5, would recommend.

I absolutely love training at Inverted and make it a point to drop in whenever I'm in the Lehigh area. Friendly, welcoming, positive energy, family vibe, top-notch instruction...everything you could want in a BJJ school. Give this place a try if you're in the area and see for yourself.

Friendly, clean establishment with great teachers and guest instructors. My husband and I decided to do this as our "date night" for 2024 and we're having a blast. Everyone there is very welcoming.

I can’t say enough great things about Inverted Gear Academy. We started here with our kids almost 2 years ago and then my husband started training there and then I finally began training last summer. Nelson, Hillary, and everyone at the gym have been so welcoming, encouraging, and supportive. They know how to make jiu jitsu accessible to everyone and I am so glad we found this gym!

recently moving to the bethlehem, i was in search for a place to continue training martial arts. following my first day at Inverted Gear i knew it would be the best place to continue improving. their schedule is compatible with morning or night classes. there's a positive culture in the gym that makes the curriculum easy to follow along for the beginner and still quench the thirst of the more advanced practitioners at the same time. whether you want to get fit or stay fit, all while learning valuable skills in martial arts(jiujitsu, wrestling, judo, etc); this is the place to be!

This place is great. Really wanted to get my daughter involved in a combat sport to build up her confidence, self assurance and comfortability with close proximity in a competitive environment. The expertise that Coach Nelson and his team bring to the mat can be applied to all levels of experience. Once she became more comfortable, we saw a huge shift in her performance at basketball and other activities. She gets a great workout while having fun with her peers during the week. We couldn’t be happier and excited for the future with Inverted Gear Academy!

I have been training here for nearly 2 years and both my kids (8 and 6) also do. The owners are world class BJJ athletes and the full slate of instructors are top notch. Great welcoming community!

This place is the best! Great schedule with gi an no gi training. Plenty of training partners and highly skilled, attentive instructors. And it is always very clean!

I started at Inverted Gear Academy in August of 2023. I came there as a blue belt from another BJJ gym. Nelson and Hilary are extremely knowledgeable and so welcoming. They explain techniques in great detail and show you how to apply them in a live roll. There is strong focus on stand up and Judo at Inverted Gear which I believe is really beneficial. I really like how Nelson and Hilary travel the world training BJJ and bring back unique techniques and training methods to their academy. They also have high level grapplers come to the academy regularly. There is a great atmosphere at the academy and there are always tough rolls. I would highly recommend Inverted Gear Academy to anyone whether they are just starting out or coming with some experience.

Great place to train! I was in town for a few days and the schedule was more than accommodating. Great instructors and very knowledgeable and welcoming!
